I always hear people talk a lot of bad stuff about this place but I have been going there for years and they always treat me with respect and give me a fair price on the items that I bring in. Every pawn shop is different so if you feel that you are not getting a good deal then just go south on Broadway there’s two or three other pawns that might take/​give what you are expecting.

I’ve only been in this store several times, and I have not been impressed on any of these occasions. Sure they say hello when you walk in and seem eager to help, but that is where the customer service ends. They are always quick to tell you how worthless the items you bring in are, or to offer you a laughable amount (mind you I’m not bringing in garbage I found in grandpa’s attic).
A few examples of items they scoffed at or under quoted are: futurama dvd box sets, the offer $ 1 per box set…
11mp Kodak camera with 10x zoom, barely used, I was turned away due to the mp. I sold the camera to another pawn shop for $ 50.
I worked as a pawn broker for 5 years and let me tell you, this is the type of pawn shop that gives the others a bad rep…
