History

Established in 1986.

Formerly known as HRH Photography, Heidi decided that this business name didn’t do her work justice. Looking for a fun and catchy name, she came up with A Slice of Life Photography in 2008 since she is there to document all the «slices of your life.» Known most for her award winning work in wedding photography, Heidi decided to change her focus in 2008 and created a buzz in Escondido with her fashion style high school senior photography.

With today’s digital photography, it seems like everyone and their grandmother is now becoming a «professional photographer.» They buy a nice camera and just take snapshots. Because you can instantly view what you shot, many of the photographers take 100 pictures to get just one good one. Heidi began her career in the film age, with a college degree in Photography, and knows what to look for in background, composition and lighting to give you a beautiful portrait. She has continued her education with the Professional Photographers of California and is a two year Past President of the Professional Photographers of San Diego County.
