Business Owner
My name is Bianca and I am the founder of Bianca’s Bistro. I am originally from the Maryland, Virginia, D.C. area. When I was 26 years old I joined the U.S. Marine Corps and was stationed at Camp Pendleton in Southern California. I was honorably but medically discharged from the military due to a series of injuries. I met my fiancé in auto shop class at MiraCosta in 2008. Between the time we met, and the time we started dating, he was run over on a construction site by his manager. We opened a coffee shop with the worker’s comp settlement. Unfortunately we were forced to close the next year due to a spike in crime. We were broken into twice in one week, the owner next door had her windshield broken, and the company next to her had the entire glass front broken out. The loss was devastating to us financially and emotionally. I decided to take a new approach. After careful consideration, I decided to open a new coffee distribution company called Bianca’s Bistro. I want to build a company
