Killer Pizza From Mars

I’m no Italian but this place makes a great pie! But betond puzza, they also make fantastic hot wings. When you get there, ask for Patrick, he is the most helpful and friendly employee I’ve come across in a long time. He will get you set up for a wonderful meal and great service.

Best pizza ever! Morgan W introduced my family to a delicious pizza with potatoes on it (I can’t remember the name) and it was fantastic, and our favorite. I don’t see it on the menu any longer, but that won’t stop is from stopping by for some killer pizza!

We liked it a lot last time so we are back. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is fun, and the pizza is good.

We had a great experience here. The pizza was great for the price point and all the employees were super attentive. We’ll definitely be back and often!

Second time here and was very good just like the 1^st time. Pizza is really good the crust isn’t too thin, the sauce is perfect, perfect amount of toppings. We also ordered a side of cheesy garlic bread. So good! This place is my new favorite pizza place. Cool place with lots of cool décor. The service is also very good. They are all friendly.

My Fianc’e and I dropped in for lunch — Margharita Pizzaa was really good. On this Tuesday they offers a large at the price of a small, so we also had a couple glasses of wine — Decent wine and a fun atmosphere. Glad we made a friend of Martian Pizaa!

My husband and I have seen advertisements for this place and decided to check it out. The menu sounded interesting — you’re able to have gummy bears as a pizza topping!
In short: Food was good; Service was not. If you have time to read on, below are the details:
We ordered a medium Pizza of the Gods, a side of chicken wings, a side of onion rings, a soda, and a beer. They were out of mushrooms for our pizza so they allowed us to substitute it for another topping. We picked bell peppers. The person taking our order wasn’t sure if they still had onion rings so she she stepped away to check. She came back saying it’s available and proceeded to finish ringing us up. We received our drinks and our table cone (table number) for our order. We sat at our booth and enjoyed our drinks while watching the game on TV while we wait for our order. They told us it would be about 25 minutes — acceptable, not bad at all. After about 25 minutes of waiting, our wings arrived. They were mild in spice with just enough kick to linger on your tongue. About 5 minutes later, someone arrived with a pizza. But it wasn’t the correct one. They showed up with «The Killer» pizza instead of our Pizza of the Gods. They apologized and returned 10 minutes later with the correct pizza. My husband and I were impressed by the amount of toppings on the pizza and how «hearty» the toppings were. After about 15 minutes, we were both wondering about our onion rings. A server showed up to our table about to take our table cone away and we informed her that we are still waiting on our order of onion rings. She said she’ll go follow-​up. Another 15 minutes passed and no one followed up with us and no servers were around. I decided to go to the counter to ask about our order of onion rings. One server said he’ll ask the kitchen for the order, another server that heard the conversation apologized and said they’ll bring it out shortly. I went back to the booth and we waited. In about 10 minutes, another server was walking towards where we were sitting and served the booth behind us (a party that just arrived 5 minutes ago), an order of wings and onion rings. The server that just apologized to me earlier at the counter and said they’ll bring it out shortly, saw that her co-​worker just served another table onion rings and saw that my husband and I noticed it as well. We could see the one worker telling the other that my husband and I have been waiting a while, and I saw the worker just shrug her shoulders like she didn’t care. No one came to acknowledge what we saw and that another table that came in well after us received something we have been waiting for. My husband asked for a refund for the onion rings at the counter. They asked if anything was wrong and we said «we never got our order.» They gave us the refund for the onion rings without any other comments — almost like it always happens.
The food was good. I was just very disappointed with the service. I told my husband I’m willing to give it another shot after a while to see if service improves, but unfortunately, my husband is not. Guess I may never be able to order gummy bears on my pizza.

This place is always awesome! Ordered a Killer pizza and wings. The wings are seriously amazing! I’d get them over Hooters any day.
All of the staff is super nice. Ben, obviously a manager, was super attentive and remembered our preferences from our last visit! Love it :)

I had the killer tonight. The only thing it killed was my appetite and my wallet!

They’ve done a bit of sliding as of late and I’m really unsure why. The last two times we’ve ordered pizza for pick up we have been disappointed. The first one was clearly over cooked and second one lacked the amount of extra cheese we have been enjoying from this place for a number of years. When we called and expressed our concerns, we were told we could get an additional topping next time at no charge. Really?
Well after two consecutive disappointing opportunities, I think I really may have lost the desire to visit them again, despite them being maybe only two miles away?
Another one bites the dust I suppose…

This place is so fun! And I absolutely love how «out of this world» (queue the comedic drums) their menu is. Haha I think you can even put Gummi bears on your pizza if you want.
As for service, they only have one register, so please be understanding when it gets pretty busy. The guy at register is very polite and hard working, so good job register guy
Only negative thing. I really didn’t like their spaghetti. But, you should still go for their unique pizza and cool décor.

I always forget how good this place is! I get dragged in by friends, but always leave feeling pleased :)
It’s a rather quirky place with interesting people, but if you focus on the pizza, beer, and price, I think you’ll be pleased.
They got it all: Cheap beer, big selection, great pizza, TVs, video games, and plenty of space. And cheep beer. We’ve even had a couple small organization meetings here. The meatspace pizza is my Fave! If you come with a group, make sure to check out the beer pitcher options.

I tried you again to give you a second chance and yes I would have changed my rating but
ordering a medium pep and saus with they did get right, I ask if they would cook it a little longer more crispy which I explained about my last visit. After waiting over an hour and the pizza was under cooked again. I ran a real Italian restaurant and I can throw a a nice pie so
I know what I’m talking about and I never give anyine a hard time about a review in fact I
would invite them back and pay for there meal.

We just moved to Escondido from Chandler, AZ and this was our first attempt at fining our new pizza joint– can’t believe we did it on our first try!!!
The manager took our order and was super friendly and helpful. We got the Killer Pizza and Stupid Cheese Sticks– both were fantastic! Oh, and the ranch… pretty darn good too!

I had been wanting to try KPFM, since several people I know come here from time to time. We decided to have a late lunch on Saturday, so it wouldn’t be too busy (I imagine Saturday night is crazy because of the Beer, TVs, and games).
We ordered a Cobb salad, and a medium Sausage & Mushroom pizza ($ 4 off pizza coupon). They have a bunch of specialty pizzas, but some of the combinations are strange (roast beef on a pizza?!) and not cheap.
Our salad was HUGE, literally falling off the large oval plate. It had sliced turkey instead of chicken, but it actually was a good substitute. I also liked that it had the traditional Cobb «sections», since then I could avoid the tomatoes. Seriously, one whole end was solid chopped bacon (still warm!). We ate the rest of the salad for dinner later that night.
The pizza was also big, and really filling. You can definitely taste that everything is fresh and homemade, and the crust had a nice outside crunch, with soft inside. We took half of it home, gonna be a good lunch on Monday!
I’m hoping that the meatball sandwich is good, because I absolutely LOVE a good meatball sandwich! I’m going to have to try it on the next visit.
The décor is fun, with space movies, aliens, and blacklight. They have video games for the kids, and a Metallica pinball. The Metallica is actually a really fun table, with electric chair features in the multi ball. It is fairly challenging, though, with a fairly straight drop to the flippers from a mis-​ramp. (Sorry, been a pinball nerd since I was a kid!)
I also love that they have a Boba Fett bust wearing an autographed Devo Energy Dome! These are some serious Nerd Collectors!
They have coupons in the Get 1 Free Magazine, and they are a better deal than the checkin offer. The to-​go pizza boxes also have killer bucks on the lid, to redeem later!

I have been hearing a lot from my friends about their favorite pizza which is «Killer Pizza from Mars» and I really wanted to try it.
One time I was in Escondido, I made it sure that I will stop by and buy pizza to go. As soon as I came in, I saw alien stuff everywhere.
I ordered one medium Pizza of the Gods with artichoke, tomatoes & mushrooms and one medium Meatspace it has pepperoni, ham, sausage, ground beef and bacon bits for $ 22.99 each. Also bought chicken wings.
Staff are friendly and smile is ready for everyone who comes in.
I will be back and strongly recommend.

By far one of the most unique places to get a pizza.
Atmosphere: reminds me of a minature «Pizza Planet» from «Disney Toy Story.» Décor; has lots of stuff from space and aliens. Even has Yoda from Star Wars. Also a small arcade/​gaming area for the kids. Plenty of TV’s all around and great beer selection.
Food: great quality pizza. toppings are fresh. ordered a small pizza (ground beef, mushroom, pepperoni. 8 slices) just enough to feed 3 people in my party. everthing tasted fresh and plenty of toppings piled on. great crust and red sauce. But the ground beef was dry and tasted burnt.
Service: very friendly. ordered take-​out. 20mins eta. got there by 10 and waited for another 5 and my pizza was ready to go.
Overall: ive been here a few times and the pizza here is quality w/​plenty of toppings. only issue was the ground beef being dry and no flavor.
