Great service, low pressure sales people… until the financing people get involved. Beware of them, their canned sales pitches and relentless pressure. Overall great experience buying from this dealership… Management should def tell their finance people to back off a bit.

It was another perfect sunny Southern California day when I drove up to Mazda of Escondido to get my CX-5’s oil changed and the service surely matched the regional climate; perfect and sunny.
As soon as I parked, Tammy’s awesome self diligently completed my new customer file and hooked me up with a shuttle to the shopping center down the road! Lucky me! So spoiled. Oh yeah, I went. As I waited for my seriously delightful driver, Josh? (sorry!), to arrive, Tammy showed me around to the complimentary Starbucks coffee brewer, the bottled water, and the popcorn! *magical dust sprinkle sound* This really must be my lucky day. *sigh*. I pushed the buttons to brew me some French Roast, scooped me some popcorn, and guzzled down some water to then meander over and check out the new Miata! Whoa baby. I’m trying to convince my momz to get one of those little yum yums. Tammy needs one too.
I noticed, from afar, the salespeople were seemingly so friendly and informative and professional; in appearance and demeanor.
The driver soon arrived to transfer me to my awaiting adventure at Target. I got busy in the clearance for a bit and got a call when my car was ready from the driver to schedule the pick up. Boom.
I returned to meet with Tammy’s lovely self and she took care of me, yet again, in an exemplary fashion.
The peeps at Mazda of Escondido seem to be rockin’ it. Makes me glad we bought a Mazda. Thanks for the great service everyone! Especially Tammy. She so deserves that Miata! Hopefully someone at Mazda can make that happen for their stellar employee.

This was the 2^nd Mazda dealership I went to to test drive a 2016 Mazda CX-​5.
Barb Sullivan is a wonderful lady who took me around some wilder roads in Escondido to check out the sport features of the car.
While I ended up buying my car elsewhere, because I live 30+ minutes from Escondido, I really wanted to give a shout out to Barb for her service and professionalism.
She really set up the idea of being a partner with the customer and trying to get a good deal for them. Not to mention extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle’s features.

This is the best dealeeship. Andrew and Barbara are awesome!!! The mechanics are amazing too. I have a 2009 tribute and I love it. Get your next car here and ask for Barbara.

One of my top 5 «life hates» is having to buy a car. Hate it. Just hate it. But Mazda of Escondido gets my 5 star vote for making my dislike of this process so much more palatable. Sales manager, Allan Borje, took my call, answered my questions succinctly and introduced me to a fantastic person on his sales team: Tim. Tim was equally the lilstener, never tried to «sell» me at all. I believe all sales people should act as Tim did … educate the buyer on the product and let the product speak for itself. Mazda of Escondido did a superb job and I’ve recommended them at least 5 times since purchasing 3 weeks ago. Thanks for making my experience so easy Allan and sales team!

I came here on a monday around 530pm. I was able to park my car, walk to the front door, wander around inside, and find the parts department without anyone even saying hello or asking if I needed help. The only reason I am giving stars here is for the guy in the parts department. He was very helpful, super honest, and very friendly. Thank you.

Been here 3 times for service maintenance and concerns. Ashley has always been friendly and helpful. Larry (I think that was his name) took good care of me concerning a tire warranty, tire rotation and oil Chang the first time I came. They have a nice waiting lobby.
Although I know many mechanics and garages that I can get my vehicle worked on for discounted or free, I have been taking my Mazda here. Possibly might let them maintain my ram pro master 2500 as well.
Only improvement tip at this time is maybe wash the dirty cars that come in.

I absolutely love it here. I purchased my 2014 Mazda3 here and I always come here to get my car serviced. Ashley Navarra is especially my favorite service manager. Super nice, very personable and she’s great. 100% satisfied with my visit.

Armando Huerta was my sales person, he was never pushy or made me feel pressured or ‘obligated’ to buy a Mazda. As a female customer, I really appreciated that. It took me a good three months to decide between a Honda, Mazda, Toyota and other car types; I was really looking to see what’s out there. I appreciate Armando’s patience with me as I asked a lot of questions and took a lot of time to decide on the car of my choice. I’m now a proud owner of a new Mazda 6, I love this car!!!
If you plan on getting a Mazda, then go to Mazda of Escondido and ask for Armando Huerta, he is very knowledgeable of Mazda’s and is very helpful!

Cutthroat when it comes to the prices I made one phone call just get a cash price see where there were at. Didn’t tell them I know what a Adidas license is and the mark up value is. Was disappointed and what kind price they try to give me. Won’t be going here.

Car salesmen usually make me want to slit my own throat (or theirs), however I had a great experience car shopping with Roland at Mazda at Escondido.
He knows the product very well (drives a Mazda himself), and no «high pressure» tactic. He also also has a test drive route picked out that makes you feel like you’re in a racing video game.
Didn’t end up buying at this time (so I can’t comment on the rest of that process) but I would definitely return in the future if I were in the market for a Mazda. Hell, I might come back for another test drive anyways just for fun.

I shopped for my new Mazda 3 at both Mission Valley and Escondido. The staff at Escondido was 100x more tentative, and provided me with a great customer service experience. Mission Valley staff didn’t even want to help me, two of their salesmen were like trying to argue who should help me because each of them didn’t want to.
They seemed honest at Esco, and I liked that. I did my homework and knew what I wanted, so the sales people can either make it happen or not. They’re kind of stingy with accessory give aways. The sales guy promised me splash guards, and it was a headache to get them. But ultimately I got them and I was a happy buyer. My friend got the same car in Orange County and he got floor mats, and a maintenance package. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family if they’re looking for a Mazda. Good luck car shopping!

We were immediately greeted upon arrival today at Mazda and Danira was kind throughout our entire visit.
We let Danira know this was our first stop of four, on this car shopping trip and she was courteous and answered every question that popped into my head.
The car we test drove was clean and Danira was knowledgeable about the vehicle (Mazada CX9).
We liked the way the car drove, but ultimately the others we were comparing to this one were a better fit for us.
Based on this visit, I would return to Mazda of Escondido in the future.

I would highly recommend buying a car from Barb at Mazda of Escondido!
My BF was shopping for a car, and so my girlfriend duties included accompanying him to these car shopping appointments. We went to a few Mazda’s in our area and were sorely disappointed with the service and integrity of some of the dealerships.
Mazda of Escondido, however, was quite different. Dealing with Barb made the whole process simple and easy. Once agreed upon a price, we drove down to Escondido, and Barb didn’t try to convince us to purchase any additional things, didn’t raise the price, or sneak in the charge by giving us a high APR. She was enthusiastic and fun — We actually had a great time at the dealership!
The same day, Barb shared with us that she had purchased a red Mazda 6 herself, so she took the time to show us her own new car and all of the features in it. What could be better and more trustworthy than buying a Mazda from a proud Mazda owner? The sales manager didn’t give us any hassle, and the word «lo jack» didn’t even come up in any of our conversations.
What was even better was that Barb honored a $ 500 off deal that we had found but wasn’t sure if it would work. During a lucky visit to Chicago, we had gone to a fair that was displaying the brand new Mazda 6. After signing up on the interest list, we got an email with a coupon for $ 500 off of a Mazda purchase, with a lot of fine print. Unsure of how to interpret the fine print, we showed it to Barb and she somehow made it work. Amazing.
If you don’t want to deal with hassle, trickery and just plain rude service, buy your Mazda in Escondido!
