Business Owner

Nathan Serrato started shooting as a child with his very first disposable Kodak film camera. At age 14 he received his first digital camera and pursed his hobby by completing courses in Digital Photography, and Advanced Photography and Film at Escondido Charter High School. He continued his studies at Palomar Community College and the New York Institute of Photography, while managing his own freelance photography business for weddings, portraits, and entertainment, and interning for commercial photographer, Bil Zelman. His passions for documentary, and fine art photography have given him the opportunity to work on side projects for contests and gallery exhibitions.

Nathan is so talented! I absolutely love his work! He’s always such a pleasure to work with. He listens to your ideas and comes up with creative options so they don’t look like everyone else’s. Nathan is so sweet and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I’ve used him for many different occasions and I’ve always been so happy on how they have turned out.
Nathan will photograph every special event in our family’s life!

I found this business on a Groupon. Nathan and I talked a little through email and decided on Moonlight Beach. When we met up I was surprised at his age, he was younger than I expected. That’s not a bad thing by any means, I wasn’t that tolgether when I was in my 20’s.
We let him do his thing and made a few suggestions as well. I just received all the photos tonight and they are amazing! He was very nice and knew what he was doing. We had fun! Also we sent us more photos then we paid for, which is also awesome.
I’m have zero regrets on using Nathan for my engagement photos. He was professional and seemed to love what he does. You can’t go wrong with this guy!

I hired Nathan Serrato of Serrato Studios to provide head shots for my daughter who is a professional musician. He was professional, he was patient, and he was above all able to provide us with exactly what we needed. His ability to know the right time and place for the perfect background was right on. The photos have now gone international with all of the press Brit has received. In fact, it went so well that we are booking him again and again.

Nathan is absolutely wonderful. I worked with him on a photo shoot a couple months ago and he was just such a great energy to be around. He kept all the girls relaxed, and despite me being a very stressed out makeup artist, he made the day fun and relaxing.
I love his photography and editing style as well. Very clean images which aren’t extremely edited and he truly knows how to capture the essence of each photo. I highly recommend his services.

We just had our engagement photos done with Nathan and it was a great experience!
Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience with the initial photographer we had and Nathan exceeded our expectations 110%. I was a bit nervous, since this was a second go around, but he made us feel completely comfortable (I’m not a fan of having my pic taken lol), he’s relaxed and it was a really fun shoot!
The pictures came out amazing, he is affordable and I cannot wait for him to shoot our wedding!

Nathan Serrato Phtorography is a wonderful business. He did amazingly with my two and a half year old for her portraits. He was calm and understanding when my two year old was being well, a two year old. I highly recommend him for any events you have lined up or are planning. He captures real life moments and happy memories. I have had portraits done at JCP and they got frustrated, where as Nathan understood and was on his toes and got every picture if not more.

Oh my gosh, he’s awesome. He took fashion photos of me my boyfriend LOVES. ;) And he recently just took pictures of my newborn that are just freaking beautiful. My son is already gorgeous and all… but he took the cutest photos of my new family that will stay close to my heart. Give him a try.
