On this wonderful rainy Saturday — my car decided to break down. Not able to make it home or to my mechanics shop I had to call AAA for a tow. Silver & Sons came to my rescue! The driver — Mark — was awesome. He took the stress of the situation to a total calm. I really enjoyed the ride and the conversation I had with this gentleman. He was very professional but yet very friendly! I was expecting my situation to be hours of extreme pain but Mark picked me up, dropped me off @ my mechanics shop within an hour! Thanx Mark!!!

AAA sent Silver and Sons to replace my car’s dead battery. Julio arrived within 15 mins of my making the call and finished the job in a fraction of the time and cost of doing it myself. Courteous, professional and fast.

Yeah, just don’t ever get a battery from these guys you will get ripped off big time. If you own a car for 5 years and this company replaced the battery two times & now you now need a third you do the math. If it’s at 19 and not 600 on the read of the battery & they want you to buy the third under WARRANTY then RIP OFF! they are ASSES when you call. Oh well, we are just from SD and word spreads real fast. Remember get a tow or let them repo your car but DO NOT USE THEM FOR A REPLACEMENT ON YOUR BATTERY Yeah this is not Miami Tow and your not famous … unless you keep doing this to more native SDers then maybe we will see you on the Turko Files next.

I wanted to post a little something about SSTS My Husband and I had a blow out while towing our RV on the 76 West. Mark the Tow Truck driver was so nice and proffesional. He knew what he was doing and he did it perfectly. I doubt we will ever be in need of their services again, only because of the geographic location, but they are awesome. Thanks so much Mark, you rock!

Their driver Derrick rescued my GF on I-​15 after an issue with her Explorer (Ford’s motto should be FORD: That’ll happen.). He was extremely courteous, professional, and skilled. He’s as good as it gets when it comes to the towing trade.

I had occasion today to use Silver and Sons for both new car battery and then to tow my car to the Brecht service center in Escondido. The tow truck crew, Dominique and Dwayne (spelling?), were consummate pros and extremely courteous and friendly. Excellent customer relations! — Dick Daniels

One of their drivers was tailgating me for no reason. Seriously, I am not one of those drivers who is totally oblivious to my surroundings. I was in the slow lane and he could have easily gone around but chose to stay within a foot of my bumper.
He then slammed on the horn and thought he would continue his classless act by flipping me off when he exited the freeway after a few miles of following me.
When I called the Silver and Sons main number my call was received with as much dignity as I was treated on the road.
Was told they have 15 trucks and it happens all day. Thanks for calling and was hung up on.
Do not do business with this company. You have other options, use them.
