Luminare Press guides authors through the intricacies of book publishing. We offer affordable, boutique publishing services, DIY publishing classes, publishing consultation, and more. We bring individual attention to each project to produce a professional, polished book that will be competitive on the market.
Our services include book editing and design, custom cover layout, manuscript assessment, e-publishing, printing, distribution and marketing. We use print-on-demand services, which allow authors to keep the per-book cost affordable, while still making it available through book distributors and online.
Luminare Press is the perfect option for authors who are looking for a middle ground between traditional publishing and self publishing.
History
Established in 2010.
Luminare Press was born out of the recognition that there is a vast difference between writing a book and publishing one, and that authors who want to self-publish have a need for affordable services that will help their book succeed.
Our staff combines a love of the written word with editing and design skills, drawing on our backgrounds as writers, magazine editors and publishers, publication and web designers, and book sellers, to offer authors the services they need, whatever the stage of their writing project.
Now in our fourth year in business, Luminare Press is proud to have published more than 30 books, ranging from poetry to memoir to how-to to technical.
