Stonewood Construction is a closely held general contracting company specializing in residential remodels, light commercial construction and custom built homes.

The bathroom is a space the home that has traditionally served the family, yet is often not very well-​served itself. Style, function, organization and design are requirements often overlooked that, when remodeled correctly, elevate the status of «bathroom» into a featured living space in the home.

We have raised the bar on what homeowners can expect from their custom home builder. Most contractors want you to believe that a new custom home built to a customer’s specifications at a reasonable price is impossible, but we feel you can buy with confidence.

Meet the Manager

Josh S.

Manager

Josh started as a Project Supervisor for Stonewood in March of 2000. After earning a degree in English from the University of Oregon, Josh chose construction over a career in education and opened his own tile-​setting and finish carpentry business directly after graduation.

After learning what it took to run a successful small business, Josh joined Stonewood, and two and a half years later, became our general manager. With the recent realignment of ownership at Stonewood, Josh has taken on the title of General Contractor and performs all the estimating and management of the day to day operations of the business.

When not at work, Josh and his partner, Heidi, run Chezem Creek Gardens, a tiny vegetable farm and nursery on their 5 acre property outside of town. He is father to Jacoby and step-​ish father to Sonia. Josh loves to fish, play golf, cook and entertain.
