Sun’s Tailor

i am not sure how I feel about Sun’s. When I first visited, there were a lot of dead plants in the window. That should have been a clue that they don’t pay attention to details the way I do. I asked for two things: to shorten the shoulders on a sundress and to sew a seam shut on the bodice. The shoulders shortening was done perfect. I thought they had closed the bodice. Their idea of closing a wrap bodice is to put a single french knot stitch and they charged me five bucks for that one stitch. Later at my niece’s quincenera, I popped that one stitch and gave everybody a whole lot o cleavage. I paid to close a seam up and they did not do what I asked.
I think Sun’s is fine if you’re asking for darts or a hem but fine detail work? Be careful to get what you pay for.
