History

Established in 2012.

After graduating from Harrington College of Design in 2004 with a BFA in Interior Design, Adi took a position as the Design Assistant for the Interior Design Studio at Marshall Field’s Old Orchard location in Skokie, IL. Working her way up, she became a Designer and then a Senior Designer at that store. Adi continued working at the store (which by then had become Macy’s) until May of 2012, when she launched Jewelbox Design Services.

The thing Adi loved best about working as a designer in a retail environment was the opportunity to help the general public with their design needs. Often interior designers are only accessible to the wealthy, but in reality those with greater time, space, and monetary constraints are the ones who need the most creative solutions. Thus the motto «affordable interior design» was born.

Adi holds a BA in Organizational Studies from the University of Michigan and a BFA in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design. She resides in Evanston with her husband, son, and a beagle named Bubbles.
