Partners for Collaborative Solutions provides training for social workers, psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, marital and family therapists and other helping professionals. We offer a variety of workshops on collaborative strengths-based brief therapy, solution-oriented groups with parents and at-risk adolescents, collaborative systemic family therapy, therapeutic improvisation and creative use of self in systemic therapy, and specialized training on solution-oriented supervision, management, and learning organizations. Training and consultation is provided for agencies, schools, healthcare organizations, hospitals and businesses. History
Established in 2000.
Partners for Collaborative Solutions has been providing workshops, in-service training programs, supervision and case consultation groups, organizational consulting, and other consultation services since 2000. Our team has 31 years of professional clinical experience and 28 years of providing high quality training throughout the world. Our «hands-on,» highly practical workshops and in-service training programs are specifically designed to best meet the needs of today’s clinicians.

Matthew S.
Business Owner
Matthew D. Selekman, MSW, LCSW: Matthew is the founder and Co-Director of Partners for Collaborative Solutions. He is a licensed clinical social worker, a certified addictions counselor, and an Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Matthew provides couples and family therapy and executive job coaching and organizational consulting in his private practice in Evanston, Illinois. Matthew has published numerous family therapy articles and many professional practice-oriented books. Since 1985, Matthew has presented workshops on family therapy and his Collaborative Strengths-Based Therapy approach with self-harming clients and substance abusers, couples, and challenging children and adolescents. He also provides consultation to mental health, addictions, juvenile justice programs, behavioral healthcare organizations, and school systems throughout the world.
