Cary Seidner, Owner of Seidner Property Inspections (SPI), experience and overall understanding of home construction is very strong which gives us a momentous advantage over many of the home inspectors doing business today. Inspections are subject to the skill level of the person performing the inspection, so it is of the utmost importance that you choose a home inspector with a strong background in construction.

Cary Seidner personally performs all of the inspections. SPI’s inspections exceed the Standards of Practices set by IDFPR (Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation) and ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors). SPI is fully licensed by the State of Illinois, certified by ASHI and insured.

As an update, we used Mr. Seidner again just a few weeks later on a property that we did end up purchasing. It was the same deal… he provided an extremely thorough and detailed expert inspection, identifying all sorts of issues & potential issues on every scale. I wanted to note that he also points out the the positive aspects of a property — such as what has been built, maintained, or repaired correctly and why, how the gradation of the land affects water flow, quality of craftsmanship and materials, and so on.

We used Cary for our home inspection. He was on time, professional, thorough, nice and most importantly REALLY good at his job. His report was easy to understand and he had great recommendations on what to ask for to get things where they needed to be. We had several follow up conversations and he was so patient and helpful. We even asked him
to come out a second time to look at something and there was no additional charge. We would highly recommend Cary.
