At first I thought it might be one of those run-of-the-mill, suburban Japanese-esque joints. But I have to admit, this Everett restaurant isn’t all that bad. The service was good. The outside looks dumpy. The inside is clean and semi-modern. The sushi was fresh and yummy, nothing fancy. The prices were normal: $ 40 plus tip for two. And they have bibimbap — which leads me to believe this is Korean owned(not that there’s anything wrong with that). If you’re looking for a solid Japanese joint in Everett, you could do worse.

I really, REALLY wanted to love you, Cherry Blossom. I had an apprehensive feeling about you FROMTHEBEGINNING. Another case in which I shoulda went with my gut. Such a large, beautiful, clean restaurant– and not a customer in sight at 2:00 on a Wednesday. I ordered to go– A California roll made with surimi, and a Seattle roll with salmon, cream cheese, flying fish roe, and avocado. I live about 5 minutes away, so it’s not like i had it in the hot car. This is the only sushi I have ever eaten that has given me a violent stomachache immediately afterward. The rolls were small, and the quality was on par with some of the fishier old sushi one gets from a chain grocery. 1 star for the waste of a beautiful restaurant, and 1 star for the service– The lady was SONICE and even offered me free miso while I waited. I won’t be coming back, unfortunately…

«YA, YOWHAWHAYAAH!» Or what ever they yell at you when you walk in. The hostess screams something out as soon as anyone walks in. I don’t know what it was and I didn’t ask. But as more people came in for lunch I realized it must be the«thing» they do. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I had two rolls that had eel. The Diablo Roll and the Catepillar Roll. Very good. My co worker got the bento box with Chicken Teriyaki and California Rolls. The Chicken Teriyaki was delicious and I would highly recommend it to anyone who doesn’t want rolls. From the outside it doesn’t look to great but inside the décor is really cute and there is a few little quaint sitting areas surrounding the sushi bar. They should have been sitting people in there because the lunch crowd wasn’t very big. They must only use that for dinner or something. They also had the warmest bathrooms I have ever been in. Since it was SNOWING! They were very clean too. I would sooooo go back here again.

This place is good! I’ve sat at the sushi bar with the friendly chef talking about our crazy passion for interesting things to eat. The quality was very good and the prices are reasonable. I’ll write more when I try the rest of the menu.

I am writing this review from the perspective of someone with Celiac Disease. That means I have to be gluten free(gluten being found in wheat, barley, and rye), or face some pretty serious consequences. I like to point that out because my needs in food are definitely a little different, and sometimes worlds apart from normal folks. We just moved to Everett, and were looking for a sushi place to eat at. Sushi is pretty safe if you have to be gluten free. Just avoid the soy sauce, and the fake crab. Since a coworker had recommended Cherry Blossom, we decided to go. I have to admit, I had my doubts because the exterior looked a little run down, and bar-like. This effect was completed when we drove up, by a police officer arresting someone in the parking lot. We all took a deep breath, and pressed past the legal action, and went inside. I’m glad we did. The inside was beautiful, and had a very relaxing décor. It was a little warm, but considering how hot the day was, that was fine. It looked very clean, and well kept. We were seated immediately, and given menus. The menu pricing was very reasonable. My friends ordered bento boxes, which were huge! I ordered salmon rolls, and veggie rolls. I have decided I must test out all their sushi with repeat visits. I ordered my sushi, with my often repeated gluten free spiel. The server actually listened, and made a note of it, so I would not get any food that had been in contact with the fake(wheat infested!) crab, or soy sauce. He also knew exactly what was in the miso soup when I asked, and that made me feel safe in eating it. Our meals were brought out quickly, and were all very good. My sushi was well made, and just perfect. The miso soup was a little flat, but tasty nonetheless. As I said, the bento boxes were big. Both my companions had a hard time finishing all the food that was served. I have to remark that the service was stunning. The server was on the ball, fast, and efficient. This was despite having what looked like a 20 person table to look after as well. By the time we left, the place was filling up, and he never slowed down, or missed a beat. I was pretty impressed with that. I’ve only been there once, but I will definitely go back.

Best tempura I have ever had, especially the pumpkin piece! The teriyaki tofu is great, it’s got a nice fried coating. I’ve also had the teriyaki pork and chicken which are also great. Their veggie roll is A+. I have a friend that swears by the bibimbap. The service is so so but the food makes up for it.

When I enter Cherry Blossom the first thing I always notice is the relaxing music, decorative lighting, and just right room temperature of the place. Since its opened I’ve been there about 10 times or so and have enjoyed everything I’ve ordered from the place. The quality definitely sets the place above the hoards of generic teriyaki joints I’ve tried out in the past. The prices are great($ 9 for the deluxe lunch bento. Less even for a typical meal). The grilled salmon and even basic chicken teriyaki speaks out as being better than the norm. Once this place gets it’s liquor license for the lounge in back I see myself stopping by a couple times a week after work for some karaōke if they add it(fingers crossed). I’m a big sushi junkie and very particular Teriyaki fan(read my other reviews). I give this place a 5 star for quality, price, and excellent environment to eat in. This gem of a resteraunt would be more appreciated in Seattle I think but Im glad its so close to me. Saves me a trip for great food :-) –Peace

I have now been there over a dozen times… The Sashimi is perfect every time… I took a pic of last half-bit of sashimi meal… see if i cant post here… Why I gave 4-Star rather than 5… b/c I only had a bunch of excellent Nigeri from a huge menu! This JUST popped up on 41st St in North Everett. It is super fast to jump off I-5 @ 41st St Exit whether going north or south. I noticed it a couple months ago and never stopped since am loyal to another place for sushi. I can say I was stoked with the fresh, tender fish not to mention LARGE slices of fish on top. The chef was friendly, advise I try the special of the day which was White Tuna… it was well worth it! I was impressed w/the environment and staff. Although my review is based strictly on 5 different types of Nigeri, I spent right around $ 20 for a short/brief, unexpected stop. I am glad I did and I will most-def. be going back! Also — - I don’t have any input on their extensive menu of both Japanese and Korean foods, but I did see a family in there having a full meal rranging from sushi-rolls to teryaki, etc. It is a place where even narrow-minded folks in a group could enjoy.
