History

Established in 1988.

When Clear Image came to us it was only a photo studio. We added a custom frame shop next door with a grand opening the same week our 3^rd child was born.

Two years later we opened a satellite location 2 hours away in a town we love, so we would have an excuse to be there more often (Sequim). This was also a frame shop, but by now we needed to add other revenue streams, so we started to diversify. We opened our doors to artists, grandma’s cleaning out their attics, gift givers looking for meaning… Now we could process almost any visual media. We repair and restore, touch up or reproduce. Scan or transfer– these are just a few of our favorite things.

In late 2013, we tried to be of help to a nearby frame shop (Mukilteo Art and Frame) that was going under. Could we get it afloat again by adding our extra services at that location? Well, we learned a few hard lessons and a move, we now are enjoying an amazing space in Everett. Come by and visit and be a part of our evolution!

Business Owner

My name is Daniel Jolly, and my family and I run and own Clear Image Photography. Thanks to the generosity of an old boss and pressure from a failing economy, I was able to purchase my college job and make my dream of photography my own. I had some serious challenges to overcome: I was young, naïve, and I was taking over a small business during the great recession. How to make sense of a business that was dramatically changing due to technology (One Hour Photo?)

We make beauty.

We provide professional photography services for both the retail market as well as commercial market. We are custom framers. We take care of artists with reproductions and fine art printing. We archive old memories (home videos, slides, negatives and prints). Shoebox Scanning anyone? We embrace technology but fawn over the past. We are Artists at Heart, Professionals in Action.
