The food is always delicious! The people who work their are very nice as well. We usually order for pickup and the order is ready within 10 minutes. When we’ve eaten inside the restaurant the employees were very friendly and even brought out a little something extra for our toddler. The only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5 is because you can’t really be sure how spicy your food will be, regardless of the requested spicy rating.

This is by far the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. It tastes like everything was frozen, came from a can, and the freshness of meat is questionable.

Used to think the food was ok now just plain garbage. My husband went and picked up 2 yellow curry and the container was nowhere near full so my husband ask if they can fill it up like it use to be and the lady said it will be 5 dollars more up the prices already went up. The thai fried rice don’t have no taste and the lady has attitude if we don’t tip sorry I tip when I’m sitting in the restaurant not picking up food. Lets just say I’m unhappy and we will take our business elsewhere

I ordered the #30, no egg with tofu. Very good however I felt they skimmed on the veggies. Which is one reason for the 4 star rating the other is that it took forever. (Because I recognize first world problems I let it slide and gave them a four.) Just go!

Great food and fast friendly service. A small restaurant off the beaten path but well worth the trip.

One of my favorite places! They are all so very friendly here! The food is very good and it’s very well priced! I love the fresh rolls, and the prik king [spicy green beans with chicken] or cashew nut chicken. I also have to get a thai iced tea every time because it is one of the better ones out of all the thai places I’ve been to! I’ve ordered several things off of the menu, but I just can’t break away from my favorites. Everything is great and fresh! Lots of gluten free options for me!

I love the panang curry! However, I waited for like hours before it came to my door! It’s was disappointment because I had to recall them. Because they didn’t remember my order.

Affordable, fast and delicious — my girlfriend loves the yellow curry. We haven’t sat in restaurant yet, we have only done takeout.

I wanted to give a god review — after all, they offer an app and beer for $ 5. The service was great, just wished the food matched their service. I have never had such deeply fried potstickers before.(I am used to steamed or pan fried) After looking around at the other 2 guests and their meals, it was clear that deep frying was the theme. Kind of a bummer, but glad we gave them a shot. Maybe another time ~

Very very good. I ate in and had the sampler appetizer plate with chicken satay, wrapped shrimp, coconut shrimp, spring rolls, and crab rangoons. They were all excellent and had good sauces. I also had chicken chow mein and it was not only good there, the leftovers I took home were great as well. I also ordered red curry for some additional take out and it was perfect.

I go to Happy Thai for lunch at least a couple times a month and I usually order the Showering Rama with Chicken. As for the service, they are always extremely friendly and attentive. As for the food, I always enjoy it and everyone I have taken there has really liked it too. Granted, it is not the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to but then again that is not what I am looking for when I go to have lunch. I am looking for a nice decent lunch with friendly service. Happy Thai definitely fits the bill.

My review is about the Pad Kee Mao(#37). I ordered it just an hour ago, 3* with tofu. I’m not familiar with pad kee mao. I don’t think I’ve had it before, but I’ve had pad thai and whatnot. The noodles in this dish were nearly slimy-like, but still acceptable. For a 3* meal, it wasn’t spicy at all. It tasted like it was 1 or 2*. I had to drench it in sriracha sauce, which isn’t a big deal. Just under $ 10 with tax, and I wasn’t satisfied. I think there were plenty of onion pieces in it, but literally only like 6 pieces of brocoli and 3 slices of bell peppers. I didn’t notice any tomatoes or eggs. There was a fair amount of tofu. Maybe 7 or 8 blocks and plenty of noodles. Ultimately, it felt like a $ 5 or $ 6 meal. There were a couple nice asian ladies working back there and one white guy that I saw. He sounded like he had some authority, like a manager or owner. I could never go back, considering how cheap the meal was prepared. In conclusion… if you can’t afford Thai Valley(or anything priced similarly) and you’re in the area, I guess this is your choice, otherwise go somewhere else.

I like this little Thai restaurant. It’s kind of hidden in an area frequented by mostly Boeing employees. The food is tasty, portions are a good size, the food comes pretty quickly, and the service is great. Perfect spot for a quick tasty lunch.

We’ve driven past Happy Thai several times, and even received coupons in the mail from them, so we decided to finally stop and try their Thai cookery. To sum it up — it’s a fairly small restaurant tucked away beside Jimmy John’s in a stripmall-type setting; thus, we weren’t going in with high expectations. Hubby tried the red curry, and I tried the jungle curry — which was a new choice for me, so I was a little nervous and excited. Let me just say we both left fully and happy! Hubby’s curry was as authentic as any other Thai place we have been to, with a just-sweet-enough red curry sauce. The jungle curry(for those who haven’t tried it before), is very similar to a red or panang curry, simply without the coconut. It was deliciously spicy(mild), with a rich and flavourful broth. It looked like a soup, so I ate it as such adding in some of the brown rice that came with each of our meals. The server(who I believe is the daughter of the cook/owner) was friendly. Upon paying, she gave us a punch card — for every 10 meals purchased, you get one free! We’d be coming back regardless, because the food is just that good… and the punchcard is an added bonus!

Okay… so everyone in the Everett aerospace area pretty much frequents this little shopping center between Sievers Duecy and Casino Rd. during the lunch hour. And to be honest, why not? It has a little bit of everything… Japanese, Thai, sandwiches, burgers, Indian, etc. If you’re craving Thai, most people would probably opt to go to Thai Valley, which is the only full-scale restaurant in the shopping center. I, too, went there when I had a hankering for Thai… until I discovered Happy Thai! Hidden just around the corner(next to the newly opened Jimmy Johns), Happy Thai serves up lunch specials that are comparable to what you get at Thai Valley for a little cheaper, and you escape the crowded lunch rush. For about $ 6 – 7, you can get a lunch special with curry and/or other dishes with a starter cup of soup, rice, and a side of pad thai. And the portions are pretty generous. And most importantly, they are very true to their star rating system for spiciness. If you tell them you want a 3(out of 5), you don’t get a burn-your-tongue off spicy level like I have found happens at other Washingtonian Thai restaurants. You get a 3. My favorite? Yellow curry with chicken(absolutely delicious). The service at Happy Thai is much more attentive and friendly than at Thai Valley, too. Always smiling, always happy, and always ready to do anything to make your lunch enjoyable. And the parking situation is MUCH better than on the other side of the shopping center. If you need a little privacy, or want to talk business without having to watch every single word(for fear of competing businesses nearby), I’d opt for Happy Thai over Thai Valley. This place is the best kept secret in Everett… but I don’t mind sharing. :)
