We have found our new favorite restaurant! Excellent service by Heidi(and great name BTW) and excellent portions and price! I’m afraid to promote it too much for fear it will get busy but cannot help but rave about it because it was fabulous!

our new go-to diner. super homey and wonderfully dated, the server staff already remembers us and they are going to start stocking the veggies I always ask for. I usually have an omelette, and my eggs are cooked perfectly — I didn’t expect it, but every time we’re there the food is consistently good. hoping to see more people there — they’ve got a good lounge area with TV’s to watch the games, too. we like kitchy and unique places with character — and this one rocks.

Went there for breakfast for the first time. Live near so was quick & easy to get to. There was only three other sets of customers at 10AM. The waitress came quick to take my order. The breakfast arrived in maybe 10 minutes. Can’t ask for anything more. The chicken fried steak and eggs was tasty although too much cooking oil on the hash browns and eggs. I took my napkin and dabbed as much oil off as I could. The interior of the place is antiquated and need of scratch repair and fresh paint. Some seats have minor holes and tares. If you want a good meal with no frills I recommend Jimmy Jacks.

How is this place still in business? I ordered a waffle over the phone, was told 10 minutes. I came in ten minutes, waited 5 minutes and then was told my waffle would take 20 more minutes because a crowd(6 orders) came in AFTER I called in the order… Really 35 minutes to fry batter? Plus the waitress was rude to me and the other newer waitress. The place smells like smoke, has water leaks and is dirty. I ended up going to Mukilteo Speedway Café for a 5 – 10 minute waffle and Better service!

Breakfast is excellent: hashbrowns are crispy and coffee refills are frequent. I’ve branched out and tried dinner a couple of times now. Good home cooking — not too fancy, but cooked well and the price is right. Little touches like homemade croutons are why I like this place. The appearance is dated and a bit on the threadbare side, but it’s comfy and friendly. Give it a try.

Only came here because friends invited us for the fundraiser being held for Oso. First clue this place was going to be trouble was a quick look at their web site, it’s bare bones, nothing to make me want to come here under normal circumstances. Pulled into a pretty full parking lot walked in and was shocked the front part of the place is empty, the large rear section is crowded with people seated at long uninviting rows of tables, next shocker is peeling wall paper Yiks. Find seats with friends and wait and wait and wait… 30+ minutes we realize no wait person is coming with a menu or to take a drink order. Head to the bar for drinks only to find they tasted very watered down. 10 – 15 minutes later finally nab a waitperson clearing plates further down the row and request a menu… she says it’ll take awhile… YIKS10 – 15 minutes more waiting a menu appears. We quickly look it over, make a plan and wait and wait and wait. 15 more minutes she shows up and starts rattling off all the stuff they DON“T have… sounds like most of the menu. So we end up ordering a plate of chili, cheese fries… and wait and wait and wait. Thinking they drove to Idaho to pick up the spuds she returns empty handed… apparently they are now out of fries too, BUT they can do nachos. NOPE not interested. So NOFOOD, This is a restaurant??? with NOFOOD??? HOW can you rate a restaurant that has NO food to serve? With NOFOOD, NO welcoming staff, watered down drinks and uninviting… no ugly venue I’d give this NOSTARS. Thank goodness for Denny’s… Welcomed as soon as we came in the door, promptly asked for our drink order, given a menu as we sat down and the food came as we ordered it hot, yummy in slickity split time. What a pleasant difference from the nastiness of Jimmy Jacks. Why does it get the star it does, the music was great, the sound system isn’t bad and it has a good sized dance floor.

Maybe they are better at breakfast or dinner but do not bother for lunch. my wife and I were abandoned for 30 minutes before we just walk up to the register and paid for 1 cocktail. That came to 7 dollars. Please do not waste your time.

The service was friendly and prompt, I got a burger dip and my husband got a philly cheese I believe. Fast cook, and both of us loved the tasty food. Prices are reasonable, and they were very generous with their proportions. The layout was a little odd, half cute café diner and then theres no separation where it turns into a giant dark bar. We will be back with an appetite for sure. Thanks again!

The food was alright I could have went somewhere better for the money i spent and the service was terrible they aren’t very nice when my food was ready the waitress just threw my plate on the table like she was mad at me or something, and they stare at you the whole time your eating which made me uncomfortable

I don’t know about the pool tables, but the food in the café is really tasty. Try the Greek Spaghetti — it’s some of the best I’ve tasted.(And the portions are LARGE!)

If you are looking to play pool on a bar table, check out Jimmy Jacks. Almost double digit tables in the back, and dart boards too. Drinks are reasonable, and pretty strong. If traffic on 99 is getting to slow, stop by and kill some time with a cue and a cold one.
