5 Star Auto Glass

After a big rock cracked my windshield on 495 I had to get my windshield replaced. I shopped around a bit and found this place to be the lowest priced, friendly, responsive, no fuss and convenient. I had a new windshield the next day and only had to come out of my office long enough to pay the guy! Will definitely use them again.

Friendly service and very prompt. They fixed my chipped windshield in about 20 mins and gave me great advice about sending my forms in to my insurance company for reimbursement.

Exceptional Service! I called for a quote and it turned out to be much cheaper than what I was expecting. They were even able to send a technician out to me. The technician was very quick, professional and did quality work. 5 stars from me. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for windshield repair work.

These guys are great. In a non-​regulated industry in VA, you can trust them. Someone else we used in the past didn’t use the proper seals and replaced a heated windshield with a non-​heated one and didn’t even tell us. 5 star was professional, on time, did great work and was well priced. Highly recommended.

Great service, very customer orientated. The turn around time was fantastic. And what also stood out was that they actually come to you rather than driving to a shop. So yeah, 5 stars for 5 star auto glass.

I called them after receiving a quote from Safelite for $ 497 for a brand new windshield… and got a quote for $ 260!!! Better glass quality (according to the phone rep… not like I’d know that kind of thing), quick and thorough service, very VERY pleasant technician, clean work (except for the slight glue-​like smell, I had no idea any work was done to my car… um, and the new widnshield obviously…). And they came out same day! Not 4 days later a la Safelite. Don’t fall victim to the «brand name» scam here, folks. 5 Star Auto Glass will be my guys for life.

I had an appointment for the 10 – 11 AM time slot. Ali got there right at 10 to do the windshield on my Ford. He went straight to work, answered all my questions as I watched him perform the job and was finished in an hour, he even sanded down a spot where water was getting into the car so it doesn’t leak any more. Great price, excellent work, highly recommended. I got a PPG windshield made in the USA too !

I had my windshield replaced on Jan 26, 2013. Ali, the technician who came to my apartment, for the replacement was courteous, professional and clean. I would recommend 5 Star Auto Glass to anyone who plan on having a windshield replacement.

Great service and the prices are fair.

They are a subcontractor for Premier Auto Glass, which is how I found them. My car had a cracked windshield and since I have bare bones insurance (my car is old) and the crack was around forever, I did self-​pay. Price was surprisingly low and I had an appointment for the next day. The technician was very friendly and had the whole process done in about an hour while I was at work. Also, I’m not sure if this is Premier or 5 Star, but I was able to complete the scheduling process via email, which was nice. So far, so good! I’ll update the review if anything happens to the windshield, but it appears to be quality work!

The passenger side window in my car got busted out and I called around to get some quotes. I got quotes of $ 330 and $ 288.95 from other auto glass services in the area, which did offer to come out and put a temporary shrink wrap on it so it wouldn’t just be sitting open overnight since they couldn’t get out to me until the morning. I decided to keep calling around as those quotes seemed a little bit high compared to other windows I’ve had repaired on previous cars in the past. I found 5 Star AutoGlass in Fairfax via a Google search. They were able to do the job for $ 140.95 including tax and on-​site delivery and they were at my door ready to begin 1 hour and 10 minutes after I hung up the phone. They just left and the window fixer guy ran through everything with me including a demonstration that the new window works as well as tested the automatic locks and my car is vacuumed clean so all the pieces of the busted window are gone. This place is TOP NOTCH and their price for my window was literally less than half the price of SafeLite. That is CRAZY! So the moral of the story, kids, is to get several quotes and shop around! Hopefully, I won’t need to get any new windows again in the future, but if I do, you can be sure I’m going to be coming back to 5 Star AutoGlass. THANK YOU!
