Debbie Ghiringhelli Catering

I was a guest yesterday at a party catered by Debbie and crew. As soon as I entered, I saw the bar, with wine and soft drinks. The champagne was nice and cold; the service for bar and appetizers was impeccable. The timing, the availability, the friendliness of the crew: all impressive.
When it came time for the main course, it was beautiful, delicious, and easy to access. Many guests came back for seconds.
Empty plates were wisked away by the crew in such a way that conversations were never interrupted.
A few of us guests were allowed to bring desserts, and not only did Debbie arrange them beautifully and serve them; they kept each dessert supplied as the guests took them; and they washed and dried the pans and containers of ours!
A crewmember was stationed at the main cake, and cut each guest the desired amount. Afterwards, take-​out containers were supplied.
Debbie thought of everything.
In her unassuming way, she did not display her name or cards. I had to request one, in order to write this review. I felt that she and her crew were over and above in doing their job perfectly.

Debbie catered my August wedding and I can’t emphasize enough how excellent she, her daughter Jessica, and her team were!!! They are the perfect mix of professional and personal, and took a ton of weight off my shoulders during the planning process. They truly went above and beyond the requirements of a catering company. Debbie lent me her own votives and vases free of charge and coordinated setup of the flowers with our florist. My husband and I ordered our own wine, beer and champagne through BevMo and Debbie’s staff bartended under the overall cost. So cool of her! Another company I spoke with said a bartender (even with supplied booze) would be an extra 1.4k – yikes! Debbie was extremely generous about working with a budget that was pretty limited by Bay Area standards. She also recommended our florist Karen and our cake baker Red Hill Cake and Pastry– who both did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job. She’s worked with them lots of times and they all coordinated the drop off smoothly, which was a huge help on the big day.
And the food was AMAZING!!! We had an appetizer reception with crab cakes, mini lox bagels, steak and mushroom skewers, a cheese plate, spinach dip (my new husband still raves about this dip!) mini sausages, deviled eggs, chèvre puff pastries, and other delicious stuff. Oh and she brought POG punch to mix with the champagne we supplied for fancy mimosas. SO SO GOOD!!! Not to mention her team was willing to put rock candy stirrers in the glasses of champagne, which I’m sure was a lot of extra work. Many guests also came up to me and told me how much they loved the bartender! I didn’t really get the chance to talk to him, but apparently he was super fun and funny!
Bottom line: Debbie and her team couldn’t have done anything better than they did! They were kind, professional, generous and made amazing food! I don’t know what I’d have done without them!

We recently had an event catered by Debbie Ghiringhelli. She was great during the planning stages and the food was fantastic. The staff was wonderful to work with and went went above and beyond to help us host a fabulous event. We will surely call on her the next time we need catering help and give her our highest recommendation.

I love working with Debbie G. As the manager of the Marin Art & Garden Center I get to work with a lot of great caterers. Debbie is one of them.
The first thing I always notice is the fact that her friendly and professional staff are the same for each event. This speaks to how much everyone really loves Debbie. Having staff that really knows the venue is valuable.
As far as her food goes, I have to say her mashed potatoes are some of the best I’ve ever had. Comforting and satisfying. Her food is like that home cooked meal you have been longing for.

Debbie-​what an amazing job you and your staff did for my dad’s 70^th birthday! Nothing but excellent compliments on all of the food. In addition, it should be noted that the staff helped with decorations, keeping on time about different events throughout the day-​cake cutting etc. At the end of the party after Debbie and crew had set up all the tables and chairs with the linens, then broke it all down and put it away I was approached by her daughter who found a gold ring while sweeping up. This shows true honesty and integrity-​the owner of the ring was beyond grateful!

We just used Debbie for our wedding and rehearsal dinner. I cannot express enough the gratitude I have for Debbie and her wonderful staff. Not only was Debbie extremely helpful regarding the food, she was helpful with many other aspects of the wedding planning.
Oh and the food? Amazing! Our guests raved about how good the food was and how excellent the service was. Debbie is a real pro and I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

We went to a dinner last night catered by Debbie. The service, food and portions were excellent. We were greeted with Champagne and they continued to refill as desired. Then they passed around appetizers — they were excellent! The servers were all very enthusiastic and friendly. Dinner was a huge piece of prime rib with twice baked potatoes. Dessert was a creamy cheesecake. Water & coffee were served and refilled as needed.
We are having a party in a few months and Debbie is certainly on our list!

Debbie Ghiringhelli Catering catered my wedding this past Sunday. They were absolutely incredible from start to finish. Every item we tasted during our tasting was delicious, and ended up being just as delicious cooked at high quantity on wedding day. The staff was able to stick with the wedding schedule, even though we had a very tight schedule with dinner leading into dessert.
Additionally, Debbie and her staff was very attentive to our gluten-​intolerant guests, and provided gluten-​free versions of their dishes for those guests. They made sure to find those guests at the beginning of dinner and make sure that the ingredients in the revised dishes were acceptable for them.
Debbie and her staff also even helped us set up for the wedding. This was a big help, since I didn’t hire decorators. They arrived a few hours early and set up the entire wedding exactly according to my instructions. This was worth every penny of the overtime I paid for the extra hours of their work, because it ended up being more affordable than hiring a separate decorator, and I already trusted Debbie and her staff so it meant less moving parts on a busy wedding day.
Finally, Debbie and her staff were so incredibly friendly. They were quick to respond to emails and answered a million questions I had with kindness and patience. They also made my whole wedding day flow effortlessly. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
