We opened our doors in 2004 with the hopes of staying a small company to work closely with our clients and give them our full attention to detail. The husband and wife team of Jim and Barb Shaffer decided to devote all of their professional attention to Lightwave in 2014 and have been committed to a «no job is too big or too small» motto ever since. Lightwave’s motto is above average service for below average cost. That is exactly what I got – except the service was way above average. They installed my ceiling fan and found it worked only intermittently; the electrician identified the problem, talked to the manufacturer and to the company that sold me the fan, and explained what was needed. When the new part came in, he came back immediately and fixed it. Despite his having to make two trips (through no fault of his), the estimate remained the same. The service was professional, friendly, and flexible. Lightwave is my go-​to company from now on.

I’m very happy with my decision to go with Lightwave for running power, lights, coax and ethernet throughout my townhouse. Jim and Barb are both very friendly, easy to work with and responded promptly over email to go over work details. The installation was professionally and quickly done. After the cleanup and drywall repair (Giovanni is excellent!) my wife couldn’t tell where the various cuts were made in the wall.
Jim’s a master electrician and I’d recommend Lightwave for any electrical needs.
