I truly believe that photos are a part of our heirlooms, which is why I’m so moved by the art of Lifestyle Photography. There is something very special about capturing everyday life in fun & creative ways to tell a story!

My love for photography was sparked 7 years ago after taking an introductory workshop. I knew then that photography would become a hobby of mine; what I never dreamt was that it would turn into a passion! The more I practice the craft of photography, the deeper I fall in love with it. My friends and family will attest that my camera has since become an appendage.

I want to capture for my clients, the beauty of their everyday lives, to preserve their memories as art and leave them with something as unique and special as them.

I specialize in maternity, baby & family photography in the D.C. metro area.

Sneha is professional, easy-​going and has an amazing eye. My fiancé and I had admired her pictures of babies for months and thought of no one else to take our engagement pictures but her — boy are we glad we made this decision! As food enthusiasts, we knew we wanted to incorporate food into our pictures. She was so excited and willing to join us at a truffle making class and work around all the constraints of a small and new space. Later, she joined us through Eastern Market and seamlessly navigated the stalls while still capturing us in our element — the shots are natural and genuinely reflect us! Finally, she provided us with all the elements for a picnic on the Mall — she brought the picnic basket, blanket and other props — we didn’t have to worry about anything!
I couldn’t recommend her enough. If you want to have fun and laugh throughout your pictures and receive shots that truly capture your essence book Pretty in Pic!

I was referred to Pretty in Pic by a good friend of mine shortly after the birth of our son. We had an in-​home session when the baby was six weeks old. Sneha was wonderful to work with. She had our son making eye contact with the camera, and had really great ideas of shots/​poses. Our family and friends especially loved the bow tie she brought with her and put on him. At the end of the session, we even had our french bulldog join, and she got the dog to look right into the camera also :) We had the photos that very same week, and her online delivery method was super simple. I was able to upload with ease to my Shutterfly account. She was super professional and sweet at the same time. We plan to work with her again for sure, and highly recommend her. Great quality, great experience!

Sneha is extremely wonderful to work with. She was consistently flexible, professional, and creative in her work.
My fiancé and I hired Sneha for two separate photo sessions for our engagement, to which she came to DC both times and captured our personality in a city that we love. Not only was she very patient with us, but she was also refreshingly efficient. During both of our photo shoots, she was timely and made herself available around our hectic schedules. In the end, she did an incredible job capturing the memories of our engagement leaving us highly satisfied with the photos. She even performed a couple requested edits without question and was very responsive to any concern we had.
It was truly a pleasure working with Sneha, which is why both my fiancé and I highly recommend her!
