I had previously miscarried and decided to switch practices when I became pregnant a second time. After being recommended to this practice I came to my 8 week appointment actively miscarrying. Dr. Forrest confirmed this through an ultrasound, and my husband and I finished the appointment in his office. I had many questions about tests that could be performed, my family history, and health concerns that could be a factor. Dr Forrest was in my opinion dismissive stating, I was not older (over 35), my husband and I are healthy, and this was just bad luck. Keep in mind this is my first appointment with him, He’s asked me no medical history questions and this is my second (technically third counting a chemical pregnancy) miscarriage within a year. Specific questions I asked were related to clotting factors and low progesterone. He said he did not recommend testing. At that point the appointment was over for me. I found a different practice meeting with a CNM and she recommended testing, she said she considered me to have already had 3 miscarriages, and put me on progesterone. I did have a clotting factor and needed a blood thinner regimen. I am so thankful I switched practices, because I got pregnant 2 weeks after my initial visit with the new office and am currently 8 months pregnant. I am so glad I did not continue with this provider. I would’ve likely had a third miscarriage needlessly. I highly recommend you steer clear of any practice that takes an «odds are you don’t have that» approach. As a side note, most Dr’s insist on blood tests after a miscarriage to ensure your HcG returns to 0. This Dr’s office did absolutely no follow up.

Rude office staff and frivolous billing. AVOID this practice!

Dr. Forrest is a great doctor. He is courteous, knowledgeable and at the same time, has a great sense of humor. I had several issues that I needed to see a specialist for and I feel that Dr. Forrest provided me with excellent care and advice. I’ve recommended Dr. Forrest to several friends and everyone has thanked me for the referral.
