1 Moe Balloon

I ordered a set of balloons for my sons first birthday. I was so excited because the owners husband said that he could do the special order I wanted and it would be delivered to the house I thought that it was going to be so much more convenient since the day of the party would be stressful. My party started at 2pm and the balloons were scheduled to arrive at 1pm. The balloons were not only late, but they arrived after my party started. I called to at 1:30 to check in on the balloons since they were so late and the owners husband said he thought the paper HE filled out said 2pm and that they’d be there by 2. The balloons arrived at 2:30. He said he would compensate me but didn’t. Super disappointing.

I ended up here because I needed balloons and I just so happened to be passing by. I thought that I’d grab a few ordinary red balloons; get in get out. But when I walked in I noticed they’ve got some extraordinary balloons, with great designs, colors, and effects with the latex. The owner helped us pick out a wonderful bouquet of balloons. They were professional and helpful.

The balloons were pretty, the service was not.
I ordered a bouquet of balloons several weeks in advance for a bridal shower. I used their online ordering system. When the balloons were in my cart, there was a note that said the items qualified for local delivery. I was prompted to enter the date and time I would like the balloons to be delivered. I chose a few hours before the party on a Saturday. I was then prompted to put in my delivery address.
In the end I was given a receipt that included date and time of delivery, delivery location, and a shipping fee. I had every reason to believe that my balloons would be delivered.
The day of the party, the balloons did not show up. I called and asked when the balloons would be delivered and I was told that I had not selected delivery but instead had indicated that I would pick up the balloons. No, that is wrong. I never indicated that I would pick them up, I chose a delivery date and time and paid a shipping fee. In fact, there was never an option to choose in-​store pickup.
I live about 5 minutes away from the store. In all honesty, picking them up was not a huge issue (a little inconvenient since I was busy prepping, but not enough to ruin the day). What was a huge issue for me was the service I received. They refused to acknowledge that they had made a mistake and instead kept blaming me. I had a receipt that showed I had ordered delivery, but they said the receipt was wrong. They also said that the «shipping fee» I had paid for was in fact a charge for the balloon weight. … So why is it labeled shipping fee?
There are two major problems: their website is not configured correctly. I have no doubt that on their end it showed that I would pick up in store. However, on my end, it showed me ordering and paying for delivery. This needs to be fixed. The second problem is their unwillingness to accept responsibility and admit fault for their actions. I am completely underwhelmed by their service and will not be patronizing this business again.

Love this place good prices and delivers balloons. I’m not giving this place five stars because I wish they had a couple more things like different types of candy maybe some Teddy bears but overall great place
