Fairfield Circle Inn

3.5 stars. Exactly what I was looking for in a one night stay: clean, affordable in a convenient location. Close to the I95 and Bridgeport which is where I needed to be the next morning. This hotel was surprisingly modern with decent amenities. The toiletries were eco friendly. The mint chocolates on the beds were a nice touch and the beds are high and super comfy. The staff was really nice. Complimentary breakfast included pastries, muffins, bagels, bread, peanut butter packets, hot cocoa, coffee/​tea, and a waffle maker. Try hotwire for a good deal (Fairfield Ct — 3 star hotels).

New owners and upgrades are visible. We live nearby, so visiting family and friends have stayed here over the years. The new owners (mid 2015?) Have redone the main lobby (clean, bright, new furniture). And there are several newly refurbished room. We even recently rented a meeting room for an event (High School formal) and it worked out great. We had some food and plenty of room for pictures, etc.

Was in town for a funeral, the staff was helpful and friendly and the accommodations were sufficient – you can see that they are putting money back into the facilities. The diner next door is great as well and provides room service to the Inn.
I would stay here again.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. everything has a modern vibe, the breakfast was great, the pool relaxing and the beds very comfy, if a bit high off the ground.
I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was surprisingly nice and comfortable. We stayed here for the Gathering of the Vibes festival in nearby bridgeport. Our rooms were very nicely updated with that cute new england feel. Everything was clean and bright and fresh which i did not expect from a cheap roadside motor lodge. The pool area was a little oasis and it was so relaxing and inviting. The continental breakfast was fine. U can make ur own waffles and of course there was standard pastries, muffins, bagels and coffee. If i am ever in the area again i will definitely stay here.

Thank you Circle Inn. Fairfield desperately needed a nice, clean, safe, well appointed, reliable hotel option and the Circle Inn delivers in spades. The staff is amazing, the rooms are all brand new, the grounds are now so well maintained. Fairfield is lucky to have this property in the community. For years big family reunions were so hard to organize, now it is a breeze. All travelers should consider the hotel as an option.

Normally I do not like to leave bad reviews. I’ve stayed at Fairfield Circle Inn and woke up with bug bites and didn’t complain. The room is also not insulated and you can hear everything going outside. My family owns small businesses and know how unfair reviews can hurt business but my experience with them regarding a change in reservation was atrocious.
I’ve actually stayed at Fairfield Circle Inn on a couple of occasion as I’m attending Fairfield University and commuting from NYC to attend school. I used Hotwire to book my reservation for a night in June only to find out that I would need to stay at a later date. Knowing Hotwire has a no change to reservation policy, I thought it’d be best to call Fairfield Circle Inn directly. I spoke with a gentlemen the day after I booked the room (10 days before my actual stay) and was told that I could switch it to the following week on a day I actually needed and that the confirmation number would stay the same.
I show up late on the day that I was told the reservation was changed to and was told that there was no reservation change made or record of it was made. On top of that, I was put down as a no show for the original reservation date and was told to pay 200 dollars to stay in a room. If you see the pictures, Fairfield Circle Inn is not worth 200 a night. The clerk at the front desk told me I had no proof that I actually called and refused to contact a supervisor or manager to remedy the situation. As I walked out, another hotel patron told me a similar issue occurred with her too where she was marked as a no show despite her writing an email instruction notifying them of a late check in. I ended up staying at a friend’s place that night rather then shell out 200 dollars more.
The following morning I spoke with Racquel the manager who promised she’d get Hotwire to refund me money and that she would call me that day. I received no phone call from her and over the next 4 weeks, I called back twice and never was able to get through to her and never got a call back from her as promised. I finally had to show up in person to speak with her and when I told her I never heard back from her, she claimed she left me a voicemail. When I questioned why she never called back, she said she is very busy. Racquel told me that Hotwire won’t refund me money so she can’t refund me money. She herself would not refund me money directly nor would she give me credit for a nights stay despite their mistake and that I had to get Hotwire to issue me a refund. In the end, she walked away from me and told me it’s out of her hands.
I am appalled by their service. Fairfield Circle Inn is a local inn that banks on business from Fairfield University’s students and family and to be treated in that manner and insinuate that I’m a liar was embarrassing. Furthermore, the inn itself is extremely old, dirty and dingy. If you guys plan on staying there in the future, I implore you to get the name of everyone you speak with and written copy of any changes to your reservation. My mistake was attempting to deal with this over the phone and trusting that Fairfield Circle Inn would be a moral business who would stand behind their words.

Such a great find! I must say I was skeptical of all the 5-​star reviews, but the inn deserves them. Miss Cici checked us in after midnight and was super nice. The room was clean and tidy with a refrigerator and flat screen television; even mints were found on the pillows! A nice one cup coffee maker was also in the room. The breakfast area in the morning was spotless and clean. All of the breakfast items were fresh and the hot items hot. The common area even had iPads for those who needed to use them. Didn’t get a chance to see the pool area, but from the common area it looked well kept. Overall, this inn deserves its 5 stars for the wonderful staff and cleanliness. If you are looking for a place to stay, I would highly recommend it!

The staff is courteous, mild breakfast provided. Most importantly my room was very clean both times i stayed. I stayed on the backside by the renovated pool area and it was as quiet as the woods! Tahir and Allison were accomodating, even to a last minute business traveler. I realized in the morning I had forgotten my shaving cream and needed to leave for a client meeting in the morning and Tahir had some for me at front desk. I will be staying here again with confidence in a quick check in, reasonable rates, plenty of parking, fast internet, and clean rooms

Don’t judge this book by its cover. I’m a frequent traveler and generally a hotel snob so I was very skeptical. However, they have recently gone through a huge room renovation and I was delightfully surprised. The update is modern with comfortable beds, big flat screens with great cable and updated and cute bathrooms.

We found this Inn on Hotel Tonight and were so pleased with our experience. We checked in after midnight and I was greeted by Cici with a warm smile. The room has been recently remodeled and we were impressed by the added comforts. They have a large soft blanket at the end of each bed. The pillows were nice and plump and the mattress was comfortable. The bathroom is very nice, the fixtures that they chose for the remodel are very stylish. I wouldn’t mind having a bathroom in my home look like this bathroom. They serve a free breakfast from 6−10am that was really nice. They have a waffle maker, bagels, yogurt, fruit, pastries and of course hot coffee and juices. It was well attended the gentleman made sure that everything was well stocked. We would stay here again!
