The Ballerina Birthday is an event service based in the San Francisco Bay Area that specializes in organizing ballet themed parties for children ages 3 – 8. We work with clients to create a customized event based on all the things your child’s loves: ballerinas, princesses, fairies, tutus, just to name a few! Our parties include costume rentals, a dance lesson by a professional teacher, and craft of your choice, taking the work out of party planning and ensuring your party is full of fond memories of a special day.

History

Established in 2010.

The Ballerina Birthday was created in 2010 with the goal to provide a one of a kind party service for children who love to move and groove. We believe that celebrating is best done in a tutu and that shared giggles are the best presents. We love sharing our passion for dance education through stories, movement, music, and play, and hope to inspire a love of movement in every child.

Meet the Business Owner

Katrena C.

Business Owner

Katrena is a dancer, choreographer, dance educator and the Founder and Director of The Ballerina Birthday. She has been dancing for over twenty years and teaching for over ten. She is a member of the Royal Academy of Dance, and graduated from their Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies Program in 2011. She has taught at dance studios around the Bay Area for the past 8 years, and was a member of the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and Brisas de Espana.
