Kiddo World

We had Mickey and Minnie join us for our 2 year old’s birthday party. George and Kiel were so nice and made sure the kids had a great time. They even passed out goodie bags and toys during their act.
There was a little hiccup with getting the music set up and going, but it was totally fine and Mickey didn’t break character. just made cute little «uh oh woopsie!» motions, which the kids thought was hilarious.

We had the princess Belle party for our daughter’s 5^th birthday party and we could not be happier! She came on time and immediately tried to connect with kids. We had face painting first and she was very good at it. It was not just a few simple design. She could draw a tiger face, a crown, butterfly, an angel etc etc… The kids were so happy! Even better, her puppet show was awesome. She was really good to get kids’ attention. She knew how to entertain kids. It was such an interactive show that I could hear kids saying something all the time! After that, she showed them how the princess should walk, dance etc etc and kids were just so excited to imitate what she did. We hired Belle from another company a few years ago for our elder daughter and the party ended in disappointment so we were worried that the same thing might happen this time. But that was not the case. Instead, my husband and I were so happy that even after the party, we kept talking how good she was and how much fun kids had. I also want to mention that the owner, Marius, is a very responsive person and he answered all my questions very quickly, which I think is very important and i really liked. I really cannot think of a better party and I highly recommend Kiddo World! Thank you so much for the great time!

I just want to thank you for a job well done by your performer. Lloyd (Ninja turtle) is great! The kids really had fun and even the parents too! They asked me where did I get the mascot, but they were surprised by the price haha. But no doubt they would consider having a mascot on their kids parties because it was really fun seeing kids with big smiles on their faces. Till next time, more power to your business!

I attended a birthday party where Spiderman was there this past weekend and I was so embarrassed for the parents. Spiderman’s costume at his neck kept flipping up exposing the man which was kinda bad. The man came in the owner’s house and was setting up in front of the kids in his normal clothing for a long time which I found odd. Then he left to a bedroom to change. When he came back, the kids got excited at first but he didn’t speak! Not only that but the only movement he did was high fives to the kids and getting on his knees and pointing to the birthday boy over and over and once in a while to another child in the audience. He even picked up the birthday boy and you could tell the birthday boy, as well as «Spiderman» were quite uncomfortable with that gesture which just made everything weird. It was strange. he turned on his stereo in lieu of speaking and it had a generic voice telling the kids what to do. They marched around the kitchen to music, climbed through a tunnel, and then he pulled out a limbo stick and turned the limbo song on as he held the stick with another parent… My first thought was LAME and my next thought was «What a gig to get paid nearly 300.00 to do THAT?» The Dad that hired him was noticeably upset and I later asked him what company it was so that I would stear clear. That is when he shared with me the outrageous cost. I believe he said 250.00 before tip. Let me reitterate again, the guy hired didn’t do any spiderman performances or big leaps or jumps or pretend climbs or arrive on the roof or ANYTHING spectacular. He didn’t even pretend that his wrist shot spider webs for goodness sakes… One might even wonder if he knew who spider man was. He might as well have been dressed up as Elmo or a princess because it didn’t fit for that action hero anyway. In addition, He gave out little packs of toys that were clearly not safe for children under 3 in which there were many at this party. I was one of the moms picking up the plastic wrapping as well as the little toys that were left on the ground. I will say that the kids seemed to like the fake money in the little toy packs but a lot of htat was also left on the floor, behind them… not sure why that was necessary anyway– none of the toys even reflected Spiderman or Super Heros at all. I could go on and I but in the end, be warned– and steer clear of this company!

I hired spiderman for my son’s 4^th birthday. When he arrived I was shocked to find he barely spoke English and had a strong accent. When he started the show he didn’t speak but instead stood there while he played a prerecorded message on a boombox. Because he didn’t talk, the only interaction he really had with the children has high fiving them during the lame games he had brought.
All that spiderman did for the hour was set up games and stand there while the kids played and gave them high fives. Spiderman didn’t even participate in the games but just stood to the side and watched. I was embarassed by the lack of professionalism and quality of show provided for the large amount of money paid.
I had been to another Spiderman birthday party a few weeks prior and the difference in quality was staggering.
The following day I contacted the owner, Dan Marius, to express my concerns and he was unsympathetic and refused to work with me on a resolution.
I would highly advise against hiring this company for any type of event.

I hired Kiddo World to bring Elmo to my daughters 2^nd birthday. And I wish I knew the Performers name! He was amazing, on time & very professional. I can tell that he loved his job. He took tons of pics with my guest. Was very interactive & patient with the kids. He also sang happy birthday with us. I wish I could give an extra star. Kiddo World made my Daughter’s birthday an unforgettable day. Also the performer waited an extra 30 minutes to start the performance at my request. Just to make sure ally guest had arrived. I defiantly reccomend Kiddo World they Rock! And Marius Dan was also very helpful when I called about ordering the performer! Thank you guys so much

We used mickey mouse and they have their own sound system set up and customized mickey mouse clubhouse music related to our theme and. Party favors were given for the kids fun games lil ones will love, I recommend these for younger kids. The person doing mickey even offered to wait for guests to arrive if we prefer. I also rented a clown who did face paintjng, balloon twisting and magic show after. Got a good deal with 25 off. Customer service Marius is top notch, very prompt response with all of our questions, and good customer relations. We had a great experience! Our party was a blast. Thanks kiddo world!

We had Elmo at our twin daughters 2^nd birthday. I have seen an Elmo performance before by Kiddo World and was hoping for the same happy great experience. It was unbelievably GREAT! Although the kids were a little shy at first, Elmo got all the kids playing and dancing! Thank you, for helping their 2^nd birthday be so entertaining and memorable. We will definitely use Kiddo World again.

This place suck. It was my daughters first birthday. We chose to have a Tinker bell character for her. First of all she was late for more than a hour and when she showed up
(after about 5 phone calls) she was half dress with her costume and the dress was falling apart the entire time. it was so bad. Please stay away from this place.
I will not recommend this place to anyone.

I hired Kiddo World for my daughter’s 2^nd birthday and asked for Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street. It was a bad experience and how the owner handled the bad experience made it worse.
The character shows up to entertain kids and stands in the middle of the room while her music is playing doing nothing. No dancing, no high fives for the kids, no energy! She could hardly walk in her costume without the help of the assistant. After 10 really long minutes, all the parents got involved to get the excitement and energy going for the children. This went on for the full hour. After the party ended a few of the other parents said we should definitely contact the owner and get our money back because this is the worst character entertainment they have seen.
That turned out to be a waste of time. Apparently the owner doesn’t accept phone calls only emails. He replied via email that I should have stopped the performance (in front of toddlers who area really understanding) and the performer can’t be consistent all the time. Their website states «quality entertainment every single time».
There are many of these companies around and according to my guests I got the worst one around! If I could give a negative star that is what it deserves.

We hired Kiddo World to entertain at our company picnic. WOW, what a disappointment! We confirmed and paid prior for 2 hrs (30min magic show, 30min puppet show, 30 mins face painting & 30 min balloon twisting)… The entertainer was a very young and ill-​equipped girl who did not perform well at all. She was soft-​spoken, had a small box of «tricks» with a stuffed bunny, did lame tricks, wore no costume just black attire with her face painted. She did not do a puppet show — said she didn’t do that and said she was contracted by Kiddo World and that another person does puppet shows??? The children quickly lost interest! The the face painting was very basic and the ballon twisting were all the same — simple swords! For the price we paid and the phone consultation and confirmation prior… we definitely expected more «professional» entertainment! It seemed like her first time! Needless to say, she didn’t stay for the two hours and we were all so disappointed.

I just hired «Dora» for my daughters 2^nd birthday. The performer was on time and professional and the kids were very excited for Doras grand entrance. My daughter was scared at first and the performer was very good about encouraging my little girl to play without being pushy or intrusive.
The outline of the 1 hour performance was perfect and many popular songs were chosen that the children liked alot. The performer did a great job of getting all of the kids to interact with each song (such as the hokey pokey)
This was a great deal $ 175 gets a whole bunch of toddlers completley occupied for an hour, they were singing dancing and played tons of toddler friendly games. The crawl tunnels were a huge hit. I loved that the goody bags were included and that the performance ended with dora singing happy birthday and my daughter blowing out her candles with dora by her side.
The «Dora» does not talk herself which is good because there are no cheesy voice imitations. The voice comes from the sound system that was brought and everything was well planned.
I am a happy customer and will be hiring Kiddo World again, and I will also be reccomending this company to my friends.

We also attended the Kiddo World Disco, but my experience was not the same as the previous reviewers. I invited all the kids from my children’s playgroups to join us, and several (both boys and girls) did. I think we all had a good time and would go again at the group pre-​pay price.
I have attended Baby Loves Disco in the past and was expecting something similar.
Similarities to BLD:
DJ playing dance music (not «kid» music), space to dance, «chill out» room.
Differences:
Located in a church/​pre-​school facility, not a bar/​club.
No complimentary snacks.
No alcoholic beverages for parents (juice and water are available to purchase).
Face painting at an additional cost.
Character visits (a princess and 2 well-​known cartoon characters were at our event).
Group activities/​games.
I do think the at-​the-​door price is a bit much, especially since you have to pay for each «walking human,» including parents. However, with a little planning you can get the cost down with a pre-​purchase group rate.
My kids had a lot of fun. I would have liked the music in the main room to be a touch softer, but otherwise had a good time. When we told one of the organizers about how warm it was in the «chill out» room, he did what he could to adjust the a/​c. I liked the group games in the middle, and so did the kids.
I also liked having the lights off in the main disco room so you could see the lights from the DJ station, and I found this to be a more family-​friendly venue than a bar or club (as with Baby Loves Disco). I’d also like to see more «real face» characters and less «covered face» characters. Mr. Square Pants scared some of the kids in our group!
I do agree that the best age here is 2 – 7, but it’s nice to know you can come with a baby rather than being stuck at home.
This, I believe, was their first try at this kind of event. I hope they’ll do more in the future.
If you liked Baby Loves Disco, you’d probably have fun at this. If you didn’t like BLD, then you probably won’t like this (unless the reason you didn’t like it was the venue/​availability of alcohol, in which case this is for you!).

Went to Kiddo World Disco a couple of weeks ago. Laaame. Based on the ad on the website and the price at the door ($ 15!!!) you’d think it was something amazing. I was excited and brought a friend to join me. Man, was I wrong.
The event was held in a small dark room at a church. Most of the attendees were girls (why was my little man not notified?). There was a room in the back with some toys. It would have been great if the room was two or three times the size and the air-​conditioning working.
The characters came out and said hello. I am not sure why the ad said that the party was for 6 month to 7 yr olds. The dance part was more of a gathering of 3 – 5 year olds. 6 month olds don’t actively jam to music and the 7 yr olds would be bored out of their mind.
I pre-​paid $ 10.95/p using PayPal. The price at the door was $ 15. Almost wish I would have waited till I got there because I wouldn’t have spent any money and just left. Eh, live and learn.

Glad to see Kiddo World on Unilocal!I’m reproducing here a review I wrote for Kiddo World on their website some time ago:
«I hired Kiddo World as a surprise for one of my close friends throwing a birthday party for his son.
I was a little skeptical but figured I had nothing to lose. I was surprised and gratified at the wonderful response — both from the kids at the party and my friend (and his very picky wife). I have gained several brownie (and curry :) points for hiring a character from Kiddo World.
The show was simple for kids to follow and highly entertaining. But the moment that still gives me goosebumps when I think about it was when the character walked into the restaurant to the astonishment of all the kids (and my friends– the only two adults in the dark about the show). The kids just froze for a moment and then squealed with delight. That’s when I knew it was going to be a good day.
The rest of the show went like a blur — songs, tunnels, basketball, all kinds of kid stuff I’ve been insulated from (I don’t have kids) but found refreshingly entertaining. The best part was how some adults felt compelled to join their kids in the singing, dancing and the fun games.
If I ever throw a party for kids, I’m definitely calling Kiddo World. But I would recommend using them in lieu of a gift-​as-​usual like I did — makes you stand out without stealing the thunder from your guests and the birthday boy/​girl.»
