Our catering menu features a selection of light and hearty dishes that celebrate a number of Italian favorites and also features a number of vegetarian entrees and sides. Chose from a selection of salads, all made with organic greens, soups and a selection of pastas and house specialties. All orders are served with our signature fresh, warm house made Focaccia Bread with our Salsa Verde dipping sauce (warning may cause addiction!).

History

Established in 1994.

Catering Nightmare… BEWARE!!!
Single star is for food. What a nightmare! With one week to prepare for an end-​of-​year teacher’s luncheon, I selected Pasta Pomodoro, Mill Valley, to cater the event. MISTAKE!!!
The event was in Marin and I contacted my local Mill Valley, Pasta Pomodoro. I was immediately referred to the centralized catering manager in San Francisco and assured that he would forward information and «be in touch» within 24 hrs. No such luck, with 5 days to go. including a weekend, and given the manager’s Mon-​Fri 8 – 5 hours, I proceeded to head directly to Mill Valley Pasta Pomodoro and follow-​up on my own. The manager that evening was Ben and he was very helpful, indicating he could take my catering order and I felt confident they could handle the small order (35 people). WRONG!!!
The requested delivery time was 11:45 for grilled chicken, penne pomodoro/​alfredo, and grilled asparagus for 40. I received a call at 11:45 from the on-​site manager, Chris, that they had underestimated the cooking time for the grilled chicken and that it would be about 20 minutes longer. In my order, I had stipulated that time was absolutely essential, as this was for teachers/​staff on a 30 minute lunch break. When 12:10 arrived and I had teachers/​staff (1st round) in the dining room, with only salad to lunch on and still no word, I proceeded to call Chris, at which point he informed me that his driver «ran out of gas» and was stuck on the side of the freeway and that he was sending a back-​up driver to retrieve the order and deliver…50 MINUTES LATER later, teachers basically unable to remain and eat, I received a call from the driver, who had arrived at the wrong entrance (in spite of detailed instruction) with our order. Lunch was hastily served to remaining few and re-​packaged and left for them for the next day. To make it worse, the driver proceeded to present me with a full bill, delivery charges included. It was disputed, but obviously, given my experience, I have no desire to ever give my business again to Pasta. BEWARE!!!

We used the catering services for our wedding reception. They were amazing. Everyone LOVED the food and the staff were very professional. Reasonable prices to feed large groups. Yum.
