Aydee’s is amazing! Truly a hidden gem in this small town. I am crazy for their pupusas! I’ve tried the sopas, tacos, enchiladas and pretty much everything is always on point! I gotta have my watermelon aqua fresca, too! This little restaurant is right down the street from my work, so I often pick up my lunch from them! I just can’t get enough! Soooo good!

This has to be one of the best restaurants in Fallbrook. They have the most authentic and homemade food. They have the best Mexican food in Fallbrook. I would choose here before anywhere else. The only Guatemalan food anywhere! The food is really amazing. Everything I’ve had, is delicious. They even have fresh juice, with lots of vegetables, not just apples and carrots for fillers. Real juice! The rice and beans are excellent too!

Standard taqueria fare and some special Guatemalan dishes. I’ve been here a half dozen times and I get the Carne Asada Burrito. The meat is seasoned expertly (s/​p, citrus, cilantro really shine through), comes with rice, pinto beans, diced white onion and cilantro inside. Occasional gristle in the meat, but not a deal breaker for me. The green and red side salsas are spot on, both with a nice acidic kick. Though I’m a one trick pony I’ve seen/​smelled some nice looking soups, and I’ve heard good things about the tamales and fish tacos. Priced reasonably, dining area has booths and tables (and great light), friendly and prompt service.

I love the rice tamales filled with chicken, an olive and currants. They come on top of a banana leaf. Great thick tortillas, sopes, fresh homemade fruit smoothies. Clean, friendly and delightful. Wonderful selection of tacos, pastor, chorizo, cabexa, lengua, asada, etc… Good pupusas stuffed with chicharrones.
This is not Mexican food. This is Guatemalan food, a rare commodity in these parts. Viva la difference!

My husband and i decided to try this place out tonight. Very glad we did! The lady was very nice and helpful explaining the menu items. We ordered things that were different like garnachas, a gordita, and tamale. Everything was delicious.
