By far the best Mexican food in the area! Family owned and operated, delicious and authentic, and the fresh green salsa is seriously the best thing ever, i go just for that sometimes

Me and some friends were skating in fallbrook for the day we are from vista and San Marcos area which isn’t far but there’s something about fallbrook that gives it a small town feel. This translated into the food at Las Brisas. I’ll start with the salsa. The salsa for the chips was delicious and flavorful but a nice kick, which I like. I ordered the fish taco plate and it did not disappoint. The fish was battered but still light and not too thick or crunchy. The plate came with a small side of guacamole which was light and creamy but still full of flavor. All around a perfect Mexican food spot for a quick bite or a nice dinner.

After a boycott for some time we returned today(never again) New policy : If you do not buy a drink you get no chips Although all the prices have significantly increased There is a line to be drawn with this new policy So what does buying a overpriced beverage have to do with my meal and chips I guess I have answered my own question They were cheap on chips before. This is lunacy My first visit here was in 2002 Never Again Stay Away These people are crazy I wonder if this policy apples to Mexican patrons also

Very very good food! Authentic food served fresh and hot! Attached to a Mexican grocery store which is convenient for shopping afterwards. Outside eating and inside. Fast food with restaurant quality.

Great authentic taco shop — love their carne asada and husband loves the carnitas. Just a little hole in the wall with a couple of tables inside and out. Service is always friendly and efficient — they don’t take AMX so leave it at home. Come for a super casual but delicious Mexican meal. We love this place when we just want a quick meal.

We are new to the area and on the hunt for good places to eat, especially Mexican. So far this is the best we’ve found. My SO loved his usual — Carne Asada fries and I loved their street tacos. Great salsa selection too. We will def be back.

Great serves, super friendly and bomb ass tacos outside, after hours. We come here at least 4 times a month. They have frijoles de la holla that you can put on your tacos plus all kinds of diffrent salsas and meats. Love this place. Yum.

Their salsas are delicious! The food is just plain good nothing out of the ordinary, the tacos are the best item they have on the menu, they are stove cooked not actually grilled but the flavor is good if you add any of their salsas it will make them a lot better, I also believe they are pricey. Décor wise they tried to make it look like a Mexican plaza they only achieved the look outside, the inside is meh.

This is a great local joint. Run and owned by some really nice people. In a town full of Mexican restaurants, I think that this place has the best California burrito in town. Great food, great people, cheep prices, what more can you ask for. Oh, killer guacamole, well they have that also. This place rocks. Give it a try.

Their carne Asano tacos are delicious and the salsa authentic and to die for. Unfortunately it makes me eat too many chips! Fast and friendly service on top of the great food guarantee I will be a regular.

Meh. Apathetic, unsmiling service(girl was new), stares if you’re a race not seen in town, dry meat, average salsa bar, good sauces and flavor however. Can’t compete with any old joint in the rest of SoCal.

Best place in town to eat. Consistently good authentic Mexican is hard to find in Fallbrook. Not the cheapest place, but it is worth the extra few dollars. Vegetarian beans, and vegetarian options. Great salsa bar.

I could eat the street tacos everyday for the rest of my life and not get sick of them, if you don’t eat here and you live in Fallbrook you’re a complete boner.

Las brisas serves True North of the border food. They keep true to their heritage. Yet upgrade their ingredients. Their Chicken burrito is the bomb. lot’s of slow cooked chichen breast, easy on the beans, no rice fillers. the real deal. it takes me two days to finish this burrito. i am a cook. these guys do it right. Bravo

Restaurants that don’t keep reliable hours are disappointing. Unfortunately my much anticipated meal tonight was not to be. I arrived at 8:40 pm on a Thursday to find them«CLOSED». Unilocal advised they were open till 9. Hence the 35 minute drive to try them. Still a nearly full parking lot, still diners at the tables, still cooking on the outside grill, but CLOSED. Two stars –one for their good reputation and one the aroma of food I didn’t get to taste tonight.

Came here out as a spontaneous try. Turns out this is probably the best street tacos I’ve ever had. Enough to have 7 tacos! They make it fresh and let you make your own personal taco with fresh condiments like cilantro, cabbage, onions, beans, limes, and different sauces. Cash only which is no problem! The most authentic, flavorful tacos that I’ve had. We ordered the classic asada, adobada, chorizo, and carnitas. All too good to choose one favorite. I just found my new go to spot, already making my next taco date with my friends. You’re definitely going to want come by here, so much better than albertitos! Great service, great spot, just a gem out here in town.

Amazing family run business! We were looking for Pedro’s tacos, but the street number was wrong on Unilocal and we ended up here. Tiny grocery and meat store on the right, restaurant on the left. Super nice service, EXCELLENT salsa bar, which I always add at least a star for, but the food and service earned earned those easily. Not wanting fish for breakfast, I asked if they had al pastor, though not on the menu, they did, I got a taco, it was almost burrito sized and so amazingly good! Freshly made tortilla(I asked for flour instead of corn) the meat had a great flavor and charred a bit just like I like it. That with the pico from their bar, I was in heaven! My husband had the chorizo, egg and cheese burrito and LOVEDIT! He went on how the egg was just cooked so perfectly and how he doesn’t usually enjoy chorizo, but THIS was worth driving back for! Support the local businesses and come here, better than any chain you will ever go to!
