This was my first contact with this company and I was not disappointed!
While having my new solar system installed, what we thought were a couple of old solar panels of some type were removed from the roof. The installer noticed that going to each panel was ducting and installation — no electrical wires. The solar installer was pretty sure it was an old heating system that was no longer in use since our AC unit was relatively new.
Just to be sure, I called Fallbrook Heating and Air since it was their label on the AC unit. I talked to the answering service and within 30 minutes my called was returned by a technician. He as very knowledgeable about my system as he had serviced it several times by for the previous owner of the home.
Having lived in my house for over three years, my AC unit was due for some basic service. They had a team in the area and were able to swing by my house about an hour later.
The two technicians that arrived were very courteous and knowledgeable. They checked my attic and confirmed that the vents that were removed to make way for the solar were part of an inactive system — so nothing to worry about. They then did the maintenance check on my AC system, replacing a filter, etc.
The piece of mind of knowing everything was OK in the attic was priceless.
I will definitely be using this company again!

& a good clean install. Ralph & the crew did a great job.

I went thru last summer without my air conditioner working. Boy was it hot! I called another company and they didn’t offer anything when they came out, except a new air conditioner at a high price. My air conditioner is quite old and dilapidated and hasn’t many good years left in it. Then Ralph arrived and was able to diagnosis the problem and explain it to me in a way I could understand. The situation was fixed and I didn’t need to spend the thousands of dollars on a new unit, not yet anyway. Great company, timely, friendly and courteous!

My AC problem was water pouring out of the ceiling. I tried to go with a local business, but I couldn’t regret it more. The bad experience starts with an answering service that seems to be unfamiliar with their business and answers the phone with a crummy attitude. It continued with the two unprofessional men who showed up and said it was dirty filters. These men were not in uniform, didn’t identify themselves and didn’t have the necessary parts, requiring a second visit. The very next day I wasn’t in, but was told the water problem not only continued, it also caused a section of the ceiling to collapse. Another visit, this time it was supposedly a problem with the drain valve that required they reroute the drain because they couldn’t figure out where it terminated. When we went to replace the ceiling tiles, it couldn’t be done because the new valve sits a full half inch below the ceiling tile lines. When I called to request it be adjusted, I was told the maintenance guys could «just shave the ceiling tile to make it fit». Another visit was made to replace a contact and I was advised the unit was neglected, in spite of the fact I’ve only been here a year. I’ve been charged for 3 visits, two of which were due to their negligence and basically told their shoddy work was something I had to live with. I’ve since spoken to others who have had similar experiences with this firm. I typically discount negative Unilocal reviews, but in this instance I should have paid attention.
