Melinda is awesome! I was another vendor for a wedding (makeup and hair) and Melinda made such a great impression on myself and my assistant! She was highly prepared (even had an emergency kit!) and did her best to make sure the bride was relaxed and taken care of. As a makeup artist/​stylist, I appreciated the fact that the bride was calm and focused, which allowed me to do my job well! I highly recommend her!

Melinda is the best! We had a big wedding and she had everything handled to a T. Every detail was perfect from the decorations, lighting, vendors, timeline. Everything was on point! She made it look easy but I know it wasn’t. I hear that the bride and groom always stress day of and I didn’t have a care in the world because I knew Melinda had it covered! She takes everything on from the moment you hire her, and she really shines when she completely runs your rehearsal and day of! All you have to do is enjoy and she’s make sure everything runs according to the plan you had previously set up. She’ll leave you and your partner saying what would be have done without Melinda?

If I could give Melinda 100 stars, I would! That’s how awesome she is! We had our wedding this past weekend at Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook. I found Melinda last minute as recommended by the venue. She responded pretty quickly, I contacted her on Friday, we met in person the following Monday, wedding was that Saturday. She was our «day of coordinator» but as soon as we hired her, she contacted all my vendors, she worked on the timeline, she was readily available for me anytime of the day or night via text or phone call. Right off the bat, she was energetic, she was excited about our wedding even though I had just met her. As we went through the details of the wedding, she gave me the perfect recommendations and solutions, she knew exactly what she was doing. She is funny but honest and direct to point. The rehearsal and Wedding went seamless, everything was perfect. I was not stressed at all knowing that Melinda had everything under control. All of our family and friends who witnessed her in action were very impress by her work ethic. Even after the wedding was over, she checked back with me a few times to see how everything else are going with my other vendors. I definitely recommend her to ALL the brides out there, her rates are very reasonable for the amount of work, time and effort she puts into making your big day the best it could possibly be. She was the best decision I ever made as far as our wedding was concerned, I only wish I would’ve found her sooner! So what are you waiting for? you better call her NOW! =)

I had the honor to work with Melinda at a wedding a couple weeks ago at Pala Mesa Resort and I could not have done it with out her. She was hired 2 days before the event by the bride and groom, and made it seem as if she had been working on the wedding for a full year. On the day of the event it rained and we had to move the wedding inside. Melinda was there hours ahead of schedule working to help make room look amazing. She is an absolute joy to work with and very talented at what she does. I would love to work on any wedding with her coordinating. Thanks Melinda for all your help keep up the good work!

Working with Melinda was one of the best choices my fiancé and I could have made while wedding planning. From our first meeting, she completely adapted to the plans I already had in place, and was so encouraging about patching up any issues that could come up along the way. She always maintained that attitude that no matter what problems would arise on the day of, there’s nothing she couldn’t handle, and she 100% lived up to that. She had every detail down, she was in close communication with me every step of the way, and pulled off a truly amazing day that we truly could never have done without her. My absolute favorite thing about Mel is her ability to be SO on top of the details, but at the same time really laid back and super fun to work with so I never had to feel overwhelmed or stressed. During the rehearsal and the day of, she was not only making sure everything was running smoothly, but was a total joy to have around. I feel like she really molded to our personalities and what was and was not important to us. I would recommend Mel to anyone, she really is the best at what she does!

I’m a wedding photographer, and I had the pleasure of working with Melinda recently. She is a dream come true for couples! She is so much fun to be around, and her outgoing personality helps brides be at ease. Melinda was the glue that held the entire wedding day together. She had the day down to a perfect schedule and knew exactly what needed to happen and when. She organized my little brother Michael’s wedding from start to finish. I have been to many weddings, but have never been a part of the actual wedding party. Melinda Rowe is without a doubt the best wedding planner ever. If you are looking for someone who will think of everything without stressing you out before the big day, Melinda is your girl.

She also had in depth knowledge about wedding etiquette which was very helpful. She is very personable, high energy, and always has a positive attitude. She did my wedding at zosa estate in Escondido in January 2015 and worked with me while I was living in Alaska trying to plan my wedding. She is worth every penny. If I had to go back in time, I would definitely hire her again.
Future brides, listen up. You can do it yourself and be a mess of stress, or you can enjoy your day with your husband and let Melinda worry about the details. 8 months after the big day, I am still happy with my decision and know that my day wouldn’t have gone as smoothly without her.

Melinda was our Day-​of-​Wedding Coordinator, but it’s tough to say «Day-​of» because she made herself readily available all throughout the months leading up until our wedding. She is exactly what you would want in a coordinator — assertiveness, energy, and experience.
Throughout all of the chaos and stress that goes on with planning for a wedding, her cheerful personality becomes contagious as she reminds you that this is supposed to be a fun time in your life.
Melinda exceeded our expectations and was the perfect fit for our wedding! I received a call from her a month before the wedding in which she introduced herself and briefly let me know where things were at with the timeline. As a videographer I really appreciated this since I did want to mention a few things to her. Melinda was friendly and professional and followed this call up with another call a few days before the wedding. By this time we had the timeline and were able to iron out some details all on the phone.
The day of the wedding I felt like we had already worked together. She was helpful and took care of not just me but my second shooter and assistant. Everything ran as smooth as things can run on a wedding and we even had fun. Melinda is funny and sweet and a joy to work with.
I will definitely work with her and In The Moment Event Service again.

You hear the horror stories on a daily basis… what is supposed to be the biggest and happiest day of your life, goes horribly wrong. Why? Because you didn’t hire the right coordinator. You figured you could save a few bucks and do it yourself. Or perhaps your friend who is über organized can pull it off. Not so much. Its not a party, its not a gathering, IT IS YOUR WEDDING!
As a wedding photographer who has shot well over 100 weddings, I’ve witnessed just about every scenario; the drunk brother, the lost rings, late vendors, even a forgotten wedding certificate. What I haven’t seen though, or hadn’t until I had the pleasure of working with Melinda is seeing someone handle all those issues (true story btw) with such grace, ease and amazingly charming personality.
You would hope every coordinator is organized, so that should be a given. But what you can’t assume is a personality fit. A passion for their craft. And above all, for someone to love your wedding day as much as you do. In Melinda you have that, no doubt. I wish i were better with words so that I may properly convey the importance in having such a talented and caring coordinator by your side on your big day. But don’t take my word on it, just give her a call and meet with her. Interview her like you would anyone else you would hire. Then you can come back and tell me i was wrong… but you won’t! You’re gonna love her, you’ll agree once you call her and set up the meeting.
