Mission Theatre

Have been here three times over the years, twice for plays and most recently for a concert. We really like the quaintness of the place and the staff have always been very friendly. There really is no bad seat in the house, being the size it is. This last concert actually amazed us, because the acoustics were excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope that they bring more concerts /​bands in that we would like to listen to. The name of the group we listened to, in case anyone is curious, was called Southern Stue — a great Southern Rock tribute band. They played many of our old favorites to perfection!
I cannot believe there are not any additional reviews of this place. 4+ years since the first and only review? WTH?!

I used to work here as a projectionist in high school back in the day when the theater actually showed regular movies. I would do homework while «projecting» the movies. It was all late 80s flicks (yeah, I’m that old): Batman, Field of Dreams, etc.
Today, the theater caters less to mainstream cinema, but more of a performing arts crowd and is very successful with local shows performing monthly or so.
