Stone Garden Events

This place was perfect! The venue Is beautiful and my day of coordinators were amazing! So helpful, they made sure I had nothing to worry about! Everyone loved it!!!

We had our wedding at Stone Gardens in July 2015, and had an amazing experience. I almost feel like my review is superfluous after all the glowing reviews that precede me!
I, like others, did copious research, and Stone Gardens was the last of 9 places we looked at. We booked it on the spot. It is beautiful and is priced like a hidden gem – I’m anticipating it won’t stay that way forever! Aside from it being stunningly gorgeous, the selling points were: 1) great size venue for our guest count, and no minimums, 2) only slightly higher fee for Saturday (though I anticipate this may change as the word gets out), 3) BYOB, saved us a ton of cashish and we had the alc we actually wanted, 4) pick your own vendors – all of their recommended vendors turned out wonderful, especially Bryan Thrane at Pacific Entertainment (DJ) and Chris Tupper at Always Elegant Flowers (see my reviews). They are slightly restrictive about caterer, charging the additional fee for outside guys, but we were pretty satisfied with their list so it didn’t bother us much. Even with that fee, you save a LOT above the over-​priced included per-​person packages at other venues.
The awesome point that I considered a nice perk when we booked but turned out to be essential were our day of coordinators. Lauryn Fuga – you are a damn rockstar. Our wedding, in the middle of July in southern California, coincided with an UNPRECEDENTED day of thunderstorms. The venue is outside, and there ain’t much to be done about rain, but she made it work, Tim Gunn-​style. She was there from 9 am til god knows when after the wedding finished, running around like a maniac directing folks to move and set up things to avoid the random bursts of showers. I have no idea how she pulled it off, but she always had the most encouraging smile and was seriously a joy. Her assistant coordinator Jenessa was fabulous as well. I am sure they both moved mountains without me being the wiser.
The bride’s room is lovely, we got amazing pictures. There’s no designated indoor place for the boys to hang out, but there are great little vignettes for pictures and plenty of places to hide.
Lastly, there were absolutely ZERO hidden fees. We had heard horror stories from friends who got married that were charged to actually TURN THE LIGHTS ON. Shocker – they didn’t want their reception in the dark. Huuuhhhh? None of that BS at Stone Gardens. Lisa was up-​front about everything in our initial meeting and we had no surprises come invoice time.
All in all, we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Though the weather gods were certainly not on our side, the staff at Stone Gardens treated our wedding like it was their own and made a magical evening happen for us. Thank you!!!

We got married at Stone Gardens a month ago. All our guests were calling it a hidden gem. The street and area outside the venue dont reflect whats inside the venue. We had a guest count of 100 and the venue was a perfect fit.
We worked with LIsa and Kathy which both were very great to work with. It was easy to get a hold of both of them when we had questions. Kathy assisted us the day of the wedding to make sure it went as smooth as possible.
Negatives:
1) Bridal sweet availability: the bridal sweet is only available 2 hours before the ceremony. If you want it available for more hours there is a fee. The bride and bridesmaids had to get their hair and makeup at a different location as 2 hours wasnt enough to get everyone ready.
2)Outside catering fee: they have a list of about 5 caterers to chose from. We attempted to start our catering search through their list, however, some are either a bit far to drive for a tasting and others just didnt have great service. There was one caterer we liked and their food was great, but they were booked for our day.
I would definitely recommend this venue. Very beautiful and personal venue.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!
We had our wedding at Stone Gardens on 10÷11÷14 and it was beyond my expectations. Lisa, Lauryn and Maggie were so helpful and answered all our questions in a timely manner. All night long, we got compliments from our guests on how beautiful the grounds were and how friendly our vendors and SG staff were. From day one, they were on top of every detail and made the whole wedding planning less stressful — not to mention — the actual wedding day, much smoother! You all are the BEST! Thanks again for making our day, the best ever imagined!

Absolutely GORGEOUS venue. It’s an oasis in the middle of nowhere, complete with a koi pond, waterfalls, gardens, and a view of the mountains. All outdoors, but with a very shady tented area for the reception. Huge bar. Beautiful and quaint ceremony site under a tree. You can hire all your own vendors! They’re very flexible with this, and you can even bring your own alcohol! They provide tables, chairs, linens, a sound system for ceremony, bartenders, and valet. Only thing I found odd was that you only have the bridal suite 2 hours before the start time – no bridal party can get ready in that amount of time. Also, they don’t provide an escort card table, which my coordinator said is very unusual. Lisa and Cathy were both very sweet, and always answered my emails quickly. I’m still hearing about how beautiful the venue was from our guests… you have to check it out for yourself!

FIVE STARS doesn’t even begin to describe how incredibly PERFECT our wedding at Stone Gardens was!!!
After days of researching and sending out emails in search for affordable wedding venues, I finally discovered Stone Gardens on Weddingwire. I sent off an email requesting more information and pricing. Within 24 hours or less I got a response back from Lisa (who I’ll brag about later on). The email included the wedding packages and pricing and she also asked if I wanted to schedule a tour. Blown away by everything included in the pricing, we scheduled a tour to check out the venue. This was the first venue we toured and little did we know, it would also be our last!
We live about an hour away in Orange County and on the drive there at one point I seriously wondered where the hell I was going! Its right off the 15 freeway but yet seemed like it was out in the middle of no where (that’s a plus for us, you feel secluded). When you finally pull up, you’ll forget where you are! It’s like being transported to the most beautiful stone botanical garden/​oasis! Words can’t even describe, you just have to go see it for yourself!!!
We fell in love with the venue and booked it the same exact day! No joke! We had appointments at other venues but canceled them without any hesitation or regret.
LISA, LISA AND MORE LISA!!! She made our wedding fantastic! From her very first email in November 2013 to our wedding on August 30^th, she was spectacular! She was so prompt in answering all questions, and I had A LOT. Whether it was email or phone call, she was always there with answers and no question is a dumb question. She is so sweet, caring and full of ideas. She was also, along with Cathy, our day of wedding coordinator. They helped set up all of our decorations, had champagne chilled in the bridal suite for us upon our arrival, coordinated with our vendors, where there to help our guests and did everything to make sure we had the best day ever, and they nailed it!!! I seriosuly can’t thank them enough!
We had about 140 guests and they all are still raving about how beautiful the wedding was!
Freedom to choose your own caterer, DJ, photographers, videographers, shoot you can even bring in your own alcohol for them to serve at your wedding! We did!
One wedding booked a day!
The whole entire venue is yours to use (even the rock quarry for pictures)!
I won’t spoil any more, GET MARRIED HERE, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

WoW! This place is incredible. I went here for a wedding in july and it was beautiful! The whole set up is great! From the waterfalls to the koy ponds. Its a botanical garden the makes you feel amazing and like dancing all night long. The staff is extremely professional and helpful. When my kids are old enough to get married this will be the place.

We had our wedding here on July 6^th and it was INCREDIBLE!!!
We booked the venue in October so we had a lot of time to plan things. We used one of their preferred caterers and it was an excellent recommendation.
Lisa walked us through every step of the process. Kathy and Maggie were our day of coordinators and they were amazing. They worked their butts off to make sure that every detail was perfect, and it WAS!!!
Really, it was beautiful. All of our guests loved the venue. We had about 90 guests and not one of them complained about anything. It was one of the best days of my life. =)

I had the most amazing experience getting married here. The staff is amazing and let me have a stress free wedding day because they handled it all! My day was as perfect as it could be and wouldn’t know what to do without the staff.
All of my guests couldn’t believe how beautiful the property was and still to this day talk about how much they enjoyed the scenery.
If you are getting married anytime soon I would highly recommend this venue!

As you enter the gravel driveway of Stone Gardens, one does not expect this venue to be the most beautiful venue in Southern California but as you step across the bridge into the lush tropical garden everything changes…

I just got married here this past Saturday. I didnt have a wedding planner as I am too type A to let someone else have control over something as important as my wedding day ;)
My «Day of Coordinator» was Courtney and she was a delight to work with. Not to mention Lisa and Kathy! They were all very helpful for the rehearsal and all the months following up to the wedding.
I expected something to go wrong the day of my wedding (I mean how can not one thing go wrong?) but nothing did. Everything ran so smoothly it was such a treat to be able to enjoy my day without a worry!
Everytime I turned around to find Courtney or Kathy they were always within earshot of me waiting to help me with whatever I needed. The customer service they have is just amazing.
The venue is definitely not for larger weddings but in my opinion that is no reason to mark down the venue itself. We had 160 people and while the table seating area was a little cramped, the dance floor was fine and the venue has so much space to explore that people really are only in their seats for dinner.
So grateful for the wonderful day they allowed me to have.

I attended a wedding here this past weekend. The venue doesn’t look like anything spectacular from the outside but the inside is actually gorgeous. It’s perfect for both day and evening weddings. There are many beautiful plants and different pathways in the garden that lead to different areas. You cross a little bridge to the ceremony area which is by a pretty pond. The only downside is that the venue doesn’t really hold a lot of people. I think my friend had about 120 or so guests and it was really cramped. There was very little space walking between tables and we had to get up out of our seats often to let people pass. They also had a very tiny dance floor. The venue is really pretty but only have your wedding here if you’re planning on having a small one or few guests.

On Nov 17, 2012 We had our daughters wedding reception at Stone Garden in Fallbrook Calif. I could not say enough how great the staff was. They attending to all our needs from the very first day we decided to hold the reception at there venue. They walked us through the venue and explained everything. This made My Daughter feel at ease. They allowed us to drop off the center pieces the day before the wedding which saved a bunch of time. We were allowed to bring our own caterers in which was great !. This saved Dad a bunch of money. The valet parking was great and our guest loved it ! When we arrived the venue was gorgeous. The waterfalls, the lights, the greenery, the fish pond was absolutely an oasis. The staff had all the candles lit on the center pieces prior to our arrival. This made the reception area jump out with amazement. The reception area and full bar area was great with lots of room to move about. Once again I can’t say enough about Stone Garden and it’s staff. If you are planning to hold any event I strongly recommended that you stop by and have a look. You will not be disappointed. This place was amazing !!!

A great secret waiting to be exposed.
I am a florist and one my brides chose this location. What a shock. Driving up, it looks just like a wholesale company for rocks, boulders, sand, dirt etc. However, park in the lot and walk past the main building and an oasis awaits you and your guests complete with pond, waterfall, beautifully built bar and stage.

We just got married Sep. 15, 2012 and I could not have asked for more. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating to all of our needs. They were there to help with the rehearsal and setting up all the decorations. The valet was great. It was very helpful being able to drop off all the decorations the night before. I love the flexibility with this venue. You can pick your own caterer and venders The property is gorgeous with the waterfalls and the cute fireplace. The bridal suite is the sweetest thing in the world with tons of room to get ready for your big day. They made me feel like a princess with snacks and bubbly while us girls got ready. The guys got to play on the putting green. My favorite part is all the room for the reception. The staff was on top of everything. It was so helpful having a coordinator for the whole wedding. They were on top of my every need. I would recommend this venue to anyone. I loved my experience and do not have one bad thing to say. I could go on and on about our experience. OK for real, I’ve been DJ’ing for over 20 years now, and I have to tell you the natural beauty and personality of this venue is second to none. I’ve only had the good fortune of doing a couple of events here with many promises of lots to come from the owners and event planners. If I had to commit to what makes this BEAUTIFUL location a diamond among lesser stones (pardon the pun) it would easily be the realness and down to earthness of some really special people. If you haven’t taken the time to stop bye and see what all the hype is about, do yourself a big favor and drop bye. The waterfalls, the pond, the incredible attention to detail will all make the trip worth while…
