Our name says it all. Over five hundred separate products including boulders, flagstone, ledgestone, cobbles, pebbles, crushed rock, pavers, veneer, mortar, mulch, fountains, decomposed granite and many more.

I visited few times to see what they have to fit my landscape projects. The staff were not friendly and not interested to answer your questions. Last weekend I ordered some materials after narrowed down my selection. On Monday I decided to check price around me with other suppliers, I was so shocked to find out SWB charged a lot more than theirs competitors! They charged me over $ 400 for same material of a full truck load over their competitors. Their explanation was their cost was more than other companies. Always check price with other companies especially if you are doing large orders. Update: I found out they are willing to negotiate on price if you have large orders and also depending on who is your salesman is. Also some of the material are better price than their competitors. Good luck!

The DG is horrible here! Do not let your contractor nor yourself purchase it here. There is so much sand in it that you end up with issues including weeds. I gave them multiple chances and all the dg is horrible.

I was assisted by Erika Treptow in Sales. She went out of her way multiple times to make sure we knew the product. She delivered samples to our office in Irvine multiple times. We work with hundreds of companies and she definitely made a great impression on us about Southwest Boulder & Stone. Last week, Dennis came to our house in a HUGE truck and did a spectacular job unloading a pretty large load of boulders. I was really impressed!
Yesterday, my husband and I drove all the way up to Rainbow to check out some DG & crushed rock in person. Wow… what a selection! And all the employees we interacted with were very nice & helpful. Lori offered us some Ziploc bags and a Sharpie so we could take home a few samples.
Lori also mentioned that they even have a venue for weddings… some weekends they are booked Fri, Sat & Sun! It’s a beautiful setting! VERY cool place!!!

We are so happy with Southwest Boulder! They have a really good selection of boulders to choose from. After signing a release form, we were able to climb on top of the rock pile to find our favorites. We chose 10 Baja Cresta; they have colors of rusty orange, blue, and bits of yellow. The biggest one was 3000lb! From the moment we arrived at their gate house, we encountered very helpful staff. My husband said that the dispatcher could have been more customer service oriented, but he thought maybe he usually deals with contractors instead of homeowners. Tanner was the guy who took our order; talk about EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! The delivery guy was a pro with his truck and forklift. Unbelievable how fast 4 pallets were unloaded! We had 3 of us unwrapping and dumping the rocks off the pallets and it went smoothly with the help of a couple of 2×6’s and other rocks acting as fulcrums. When one of the boulders wouldn’t budge in the soft dirt, we placed a thin chipped off piece of rock under it and it helped so much! Now I know how Stonehenge was created! :)

We discovered SWR when my husband officiated wedding at their event venue. The venue was beautiful, the staff professional and attentive, and it was a great evening. Then a friend told us he had purchased rock for a home project there and was really happy with the service. We checked it out today and were really blown away by how attentive, informative and friendly all the staff was, from the guys in the yard to the sales staff. After a previous visit to a yard in San Marcos where we couldn’t get anybody to acknowledge we were there, this was a great experience and we will definitely be back.

I would like to give a shout to the folks over at Southwest Boulder in Fallbrook. They have been very helpful in catering to my landscape design needs. Site Mgr. Tim was super knowledgeable about his products and patient in helping me choose what I needed for the several jobs I have come to them for. That same knowledge and professionalism extends into the office/​counter area where Tanner L. took care of closing the deal for what I had purchased. I have been coming to the Fallbrook location over the past few years now, and I continue to receive the utmost exceptional experience, every time I go there. I have been a customer of South-​West Boulder & Stone for over ten years. Their knowledgable employees and staff have always gone above and beyond to meet my company’s hard-​scape needs, and if they don’t have something they have virtually bent over backwards to try to get it for me. Their natural rock and boulder selection is vast and plentiful which works well when I bring my clients by to pick out the materials I will use on their projects. The place may have an unusual theme and they may get a little tied up at the counter from time to time but even that won’t detract me for returning to see the same helpful quality people I have grown to trust over the years.

On 5÷28÷2014 I purchased #1200 of pebbles for landscaping. I also ordered #40 of tumbled glass for accent. I was told that there was no glass in stock but it would be available in 2 – 3 days and that I would get a call when the order was in. I received no call and when my husband stopped by to check on the order he was told that it would be a lot more expensive that the original quote and that it was a specialty order item. I now have a half way finished landscape and I am very unhappy. Will never go back.

First purchase of boulders. Didn’t really know what to expect. Looked around for sandstone boulders but couldn’t find any. An employee at a competing business suggested we contact SWB. While they didn’t have sandstone, they did have boulders we liked at a significant savings from KRC and RCP.
Picked up a couple large boulders and some small ones along with a basket of rock. Purchased on Saturday, had delivery Tuesday. Smooth delivery including placement of boulders. Pretty fun to watch the truck maneuver 3,000lb boulders into place.
Employees seemed nice and helpful. Delivery guy was professional. Really nothing bad to say.

Horrible first purchase. Will never do business with this company again. Reserved 12yards of fill dirt and paid for delivery. Truck came with two loads, dropped one of the loads, we quickly realized it was the wrong type of dirt (& about 90% rock). Asked them to not dump the second load and they didn’t, (they are located about 5−7miles down the road from us) so we asked if we could get refunded for the second load, they said «no, but we will take the other fill dirt back, but there are no refunds for bulk purchases» which NO ONE mentioned at the time of our over the phone purchase… needless to say, we paid full price for 12 yards of fill dirt (about $ 450.00), got 6 yards of it, and they have the rest of our PAID FOR dirt, ready for resale. No refunds, no regrets, $ 250.00 in the negative we are, but South West Boulder doesn’t give a care about its customers. How hard is it to dump dirt back onto your lot when its already in the dump truck still and its paid for and you’re only 5−7miles down the road? (If that)
Most expensive lesson learned. We are going with a less expensive company in San Marcos, Eastman.

I went to Southwest Boulder & Stone a couple of Saturday’s ago to find some flagstone for my back yard. I went in not knowing what I needed but they made me feel very comfortable with their large selection of rock. We narrowed it down and I couldn’t be happier with what I picked. Their service was A+ from the yard guy that helped me to the people at the front counter. I would absolutely recommend them.
