Stuck in a faceless hotel very close to this deli for a week while I mindlessly and happily took your tax dollars. Found this little gem of a mom and pop and had dinner there three nights in a row. Club sandwich was amazing, their cheese steak was quite good and the reuben was also very good. The potato salad was wonderful: not to much mayo or mustard with unpeeled red potatos. Yum. The desserts there are quite nice. Well, to be honest the carrot cake was quite nice(home made) and I didn’t feel motivated to try any other desserts. The place is a bit tattered and cluttered but comfortable. I did carryout every evening so I didn’t linger. Counter service was friendly and courteous. Reasonably priced food, served hot and fast. I couldn’t ask for more.

Been here 3 times. First time, I had a takeout breakfast order with no problem. Second time, I had lunch. Had a burger with egg but service was incredibly slow. I had to fight to get attention from the waitress to bring me my check and process my payment. Food was just ok. On my third time, nobody greeted or bothered to seat me or take my order. Asked the lady in the front if I should just seat myself if I’m dining in which she acknowledged. So I sat myself but the table had bread crumbs and not very tidy. Tables around me weren’t much cleaner and had trash from previous diners. The two waitresses, including the one that told me to seat myself, walked by me a few times and never acknowledged me to take my order. After losing my patience, I left where I relocated to another restaurant where I was able to be seated and half way finished my meal before finishing this review.

The food? meh… it wasnt horrible but it wasnt anything unique either. The service was really bad. When i walked in, i was not greeted at all and on top of that, the 2 employees that were at the counter, would not acknowledge me at all, even after i said hello several time. If you are in the hospitality industry, you need to make sure your customers feel appreciated. Not recommending it…

Group of 4 went for lunch today during training across the street. We had an hour for lunch in total and only needed about 6 mins to walk back. Sat outside in patio area. We ordered a tuna salad platter, bbq sandwich with small fries, steak and cheese sub, Turkey sandwich with cheese fries. After 35 mins one of our group went in to ask about our food. She was told it is coming… which it did right after. The hot sandwiches were cold, as were both orders of fries. The cheese fries could not even be separated because the cheese was cold and congealed. It was obvious our food had been ready but left sitting while people in line in the store were waited on. They agreed to take the fries off the bill as they could not be eaten. They offered new ones we had no time left. We were barely able to eat half our meal before needing to leave. Almost $ 40 for a salad, sandwiches and 3 teas, 1 water. Waitress never offered more drinks, got an attitude when we pointed out cold good. Willing to try again later… but will wait in line inside to be sure I get my food!

I have worked within walking distance of this Deli for years but only a couple months ago did I start going in and now it’s my go-to lunch place. I easily go four times a week! They have great options for when I feel like eating healthy like their Mesquite Grilled Bird sandwich and then when I feel like feeding my cravings I get their Chicken Fillet Sandwich, which I like to call a Chicken Finger Sandwich. It’s basically tasty chicken tenders on a sub roll with honey mustard. It satisfies my protein, carb, fried and sweet fix all at once. Don’t forget to check out their hamburger options and steak subs. My doc told me to lay off the red meat but when I feel breaking the rules it’s always worth it here. All food is made to order, so it’s always hot and tons of variety which is why I go there so much. Also worth noting is the friendly staff that makes you feel like family. Try it out you won’t be disappointed.

Pretty average sandwiches overall. I think this spot could use some better options of bread. My sandwich came on plain, sliced, dry wheat bread which took away from the tastiness of the turkey and other things on the sandwich. I would recommend getting something other than sliced bread if they have that option. It’s not a bad place to grab a quick sandwich, but nothing to write home about. The staff was friendly, however, which I always appreciate!

Used to be a really nice deli, till some Korean family bought it, they jacked w the prices on everything and the food quality has gone down dramatically, it’s ok if you have no other choice to pick up a sandwich, but that’s it, I would not recommend this place for a decent meal or service

Got the western sandwhich with multigrain bread. The sandwich was pretty good, included ham, peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms, which was different from most breakfast sandwiches I’ve found on the go. They charged 50 cents extra for the multigrain which was not written on the menu, but they informed me when they took my order. The price of the sandwich was just over $ 4. My company also uses them consistently for catering and they are always courteous and prompt in delivering the food.

The Dominion Deli used to be a standard. The place to come to get a huge, overstuffed sandwich. I hate to say it, but it has declined appreciably since the ownership changed. The famous steak, egg and cheese sandwich, which used to be big enough to feed two, is now little more than an appetizer. Points off for the unsmiling woman who pointed me rudely to a table when I arrived. I think I’ll just remember the way it was – I can’t see any reason to come back to what is now a mediocre establishment.

The food is alright… If you want a decent sandwich, a quick fix. This place is fine. As far as the service that sucks and most of all the Asian server lady. SHEISPLAINRUDE. She is not welcoming what so ever. I come in with one other person and she literally said we can only sit at a 2 person table and points to all the seats we can sit in(keep in mind this place is empty) so I just ending up sitting outside in the 90 degree heat rather than be told where to sit. Our waitress was cute I liked her. At the end I asked the Asian lady, for a to go box, she brings me a brown paper bag and says«you can just put the sand which in there»!!! So I go inside to the waitress and ask for a box which I’m sure they had and little do you know they had stacks right in front! Which she gave me. Don’t come here there are better places to spend 10 bucks at

Their Greek salad with grilled chicken is really damn good! Great, light fresh, homemade dressing too. 5 stars for that. The sandwiches are meh. 3 stars for that

I ordered a Chicken Philly Sub 8″, fries and a slice of Carrot Cake, grabbed a melon green tea and a bottle of water. I was visiting at nearby Fairfax Hospital. My sandwich was very fresh, but a little disappointing. My sandwich was way too simple for my tastes, no seasoning on the chicken. I expected sautéed chicken with at least salt and pepper similar to Philly from which it took its name. The chicken on the sandwich was a filet of chicken. Mind you, the sandwich was ok this way, just flavorless. The stake fries were good, no salt added. I’m certain I could have requested it had I known, but it was my first try. The carrot cake was a huge slice that was big enough to save for later. Loved the iced green tea with melon flavor(bottled). The whole meal was about $ 17 so not too bad on the fly and simple.

Had the ruben. Teaspoon of kraut and a couple of slices of meat… not worth the price. Ordered mix of O rings and fries…4 small and I mean small, O rings and 15(I counted!) fries for almost 4 clams! Recommend you eat at home which is a better deal. Waiter served us our meal and NEVER came back. No top off of beverage, NOTHING. This is the first time I tipped less than 20% in 40 years!(he got 10% which was too much). AVOID

Been going here for 10 years and even after a new owner and management, they’re still very consistant. And just to remind me how yummy they are, I went for lunch after not gone there in a while. Ordered the Steak & Cheese Delux w/4 pieces of bacon… and omg… love love love it! All the veggies were so fresh as always and was enough to make the sub well balances as whole, in flavors! I always loved but was the first time I got it w bacon… BACONIS A MUST!

This is our«home away from home.» The food is solid, and just imaginative enough(but not too much) for breakfast(chorizo burrito, mushroom omelet, salsa omelet). For lunch they have a curried chicken salad that is yum. For dinner a hearty spaghetti with garlic bread. But the best part is the staff. We always feel comfortable and happy here, and in an area as stressful as NoVa, that makes a huge difference.

Pretty solid deli. Very large sandwiches especially their triple deckers. Really like the chicken salad club. Sides are good esp potato salad. Like the coconut cake. All they need is their own cured meats and could be great.

I visit Dominion Deli when in the area and when in need of the coconut cake. This is a simple place, not much to the décor but they do have a nice outdoor area which is good to enjoy lunch on a nice day. Breakfast here is pretty good when you’re on the run and need something quick that’s not fast-food. Dominion Deli has a good number of menu choices for all meals.

Best tuna salad I have ever had! Breads are always fresh and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Also, it’s located in one of the most well-kept strip malls in the area. Very clean and lots of parking.

I have been here a few times since I am staying nearby. The first time I went I got a Greek salad with grilled chicken. It was delicious. I think the restaurant makes their own vinaigrette for that particular salad and it is outstanding. My waitress was attentive and friendly. The second time I went was today. Me and my husband both ordered sandwiches and were very happy with our food. We also got a basket of steak fries which usually aren’t our favorite, but they were nice and firm rather than soggy as many steak fries are. The best part was that the Deli offers a birch beer(similar to root beer) on tap which was a great and unique treat! **Things to know –Though this is a deli they do sit down style ordering unless you are getting your food to go –They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner –They have a very large menu with tons of great options My husband and I will definitely come back :)

I recommend grab and go if possible, than dining in. Any time I actually sit and eat at the restaurant, the service is SO bad, I end up just walking up to the counter multiple times a visit. «Can I have a menu?»(Sometimes they are out on the table but not always) «Can I have silverware?» «Can I have a refill and the check?» And finally I end up paying at the counter. This experience has happened more than once. It’s honestly not me being needy, their wait staff is just that bad.
