Stopped in 2 days before XMas to pick up some of the smoked turkey, you know, the one in the ads, on the window pic, and on the menu? Go to order and I’m bluntly told that they don’t have that for sale. No explanation or apology, no sign saying that they are out. And a staff that really doesn’t give a crap. I will use the other locations from now on, thanks

First of all let me say I love honey baked ham. The food is always delicious. But the Falls Church location is AWFUL. All of the staff is RUDE including the manager. I came to the Falls Church location one day about 30 – 40 mins before they closed and orderd my SANDWICH to eat there. They brought our food to go and stated«We are about to close you have to get the order to go.» I always get the Tavern club… when I got home the sandwich was poorly made and had microwaveable bacon on it… No longer has the Honey Baked Bacon that made the sandwich. Not sure if this is all Honey Baked Ham’s or just Falls Church location… I will NEVER return to the Falls Church location.

Great food, terrible customer service. I’ve eaten here twice, and both times the staff members were completely rude and unprofessional. The first time, the cashier started telling me about how«weird» the customer in front of me was, and made fun of her for a good minute before she took my order. I’ve never experienced anything like that in my entire life! It was cruel and uncalled for, not to mention a complete waste of my time. I figured it might have been a fluke and since my food had been so great, I went back. This time I had a coupon, which had apparently expired just the day before. I politely asked the cashier if she could try to scan it anyway, because oftentimes it still works. She replied with a flat«no» and continued«all coupons expire, you should have known that this was going to happen.» Rude! I realize it’s not her fault that the coupon expired, but her attitude was unwarranted. For a place that’s always empty, you’d think they would treat the few customers they have with a little more respect.

I hate to trash a business but this establishment needs to look into their staff and service and make necessary changes to ensure their success. Location: Convenient with somewhat hard to find parking(4) Service: Unacceptable(0) Food: ??? I stop by and ordered a combo for take out, The place is small, look clean with large selection of various sandwiches and … . My server/cashier mixed up the order which happens. She was unable to fix the error and instead of asking for help try to blame me for complexity of the order. Manager was on the phone just step away from us and could hear our discussion very well but did not react until I asked for her. Surprisingly instead of resolving the issue she got in argument with her staff… I had no choice to leave without my order …

Extremely disappointed in the customer service. Every year we get a ham for Easter. The selection of hams was low– they advertise hams 12 – 15 lbs but didn’t have any. Staff was extremely inconsiderate and couldn’t help accommodate my need for two small hams to equal the size I needed. I heard snide remarks as I walked away. Their hams may be fantastic but it isn’t worth it when the staff are rude.

My experience here was awesome and the food MYMYMY. I had the Tavern Club sandwich which was OHSOOOGOOD and a cup of there Baked Potato Soup. The service was great and the place was clean so I will def plan to return. During lunch time it was not a lot of traffic and plenty of setting of and I got coupons to use when I come back; SCORE.

Worst service I have ever had in my life. They seemed insulted that I came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. I had to order my eat-in breakfast at the front cashier even though there was a seating area. I should have known better when I walked in and nobody was at any of the 10 tables in the dine-in area. Ugh! I got an omelette but what showed up on my plate was more like a sloppy frittata. Hash browns were soggy and gross. And while I tried to eat this mess, the two ladies at the register disappeared. I could easily have choked to death and nobody would have known or cared. Wow! Unbelievable that a company I once thought was all about quality and service has tanked so bad. Avoid at all costs!!!

I made the mistake of coming here for breakfast last week, since it is a few blocks from my apartment. Bad move. The French toast LOOKED really good, but it was absolutely tasteless. Like eating warmed up blender dough. Served with Hawaiian bread, it had no spicing whatsoever, no cinnamon, nothing. The bacon had a weird texture like it had been par-cooked and then finished in a microwave. Coffee was undrinkable. I was raised by parents who lived through the Depression. I HATE to throw away food, so I managed to eat the bacon and one«slice’ of French toast. Two gulps of a large coffee. Left all the rest on the table, so that’s how bad it was. And as others have noted, the place was empty when I came in and yet it took a really long time to get my food. Perhaps they should stick to lunch/dinner/sandwiches and drop breakfast. Just awful, will never go back.

The ham is delicious. I like their lunch sandwiches. The breakfast take-out menu is a little skimpy, but the coffee was better than expected.

Lunch review: A very tasty sandwich. No negatives overall. Clean, well presented. All in all a very nondescript and enjoyable lunch.

Staff was rude to customers and coworkers. Honey pots were completely empty on all the tables and a couple employees just standing around while I was ready to order. Big menu, but nothing has really wowed me the two times I have dined. You’re better off at Chipotle or Famous Dave’s.

Worst service ever!!! Went here for a quick coffee/brunch with a friend. The place was empty, and it still took a long time for our food. Then my friend’s order was wrong and the worker tried to blame her for not being specific when she ordered. How much more specific can you be when you say«No Cheese!» The woman was very rude when we sent the food back and then proceeded to tell her coworkers at the front counter(in plain hearing range of us!) that it was all my friend’s fault. When my friend confronted the staff about it the woman became very defensive and again tried to blame us. I can get a greasy omelet anywhere. I’ll never step foot in this place again. When you treat your customers like that, you don’t deserve our business.

It took me awhile to want to try this place. it really wasn’t until my mom had a coupon for a sandwich combo that i decided… why not. It’s a very small shop but it is located in the city. But it serves it’s purpose as a deli and a small café. The menu actually has a larger selection then i thought it would considering they specialize in ham. I ordered the Roast Beef Roundup and my coupon allowed me to get a drink and chips so it was about $ 6 or so with my coupon which wasn’t bad considering that without the coupon it would’ve been about $ 8.00 or so. The sandwich overall wasn’t too bad the slices of roast beef were pretty meaty unlike some sandwich places that give you that thin deli style with only maybe one slice or two. The Honey Spiced Bacon however was like the most amazing bacon i have ever tasted. Sweet crispy with a bit of spice. I really wish they gave you more then one slice.(Which they would if your willing to pay $ 1 extra for another slice.) But I didn’t taste much of the chipotle mayo or the ranch though which could be a good or bad thing. So really those two sauces/spreads didn’t really add to my sandwich. Overall i think i would return to this place to try another sandwich although it might have to be with a coupon because it could get pretty pricey with a combo and 50 cents more for soup or salad. But then again most lunches run from about $ 6-$ 9 dollars anyway so i guess it is worth it.

Great lunch place, they serve breakfast all day also. Everything is very good quality and clean. Well staffed location with good service. We got the classic ham and the BBQ ham with cheddar. We really liked their BBQ. You can get coupons on the main site and both our meals came to around $ 10. The only downfall to this location is the limited seating.

Went here for a sit down lunch today and ordered the Southwest Turkey Melt Combo for $ 8.27. It came with soup(potato and ham), a pickle, a long, thin, flat piece of bread and a coke. This little lunch deli has the misfortune of being two doors down from a Famous Daves. They can’t compete with that. For what you’d pay for lunch at Honeybaked Ham, you could get a burger meal at Dave’s! But, that said, this is really the best soup and sandwich you’ll find in Falls Church. The service is friendly. All of the ingredients tasted very fresh. It was clean. Couldn’t ask for much more. Will be back.
