Loehmann’s Walk-In Clinic PLCC

If I could give this place a ZERO I would. Walk in… No greeting. NO ONE WAS THERE! I’m standing for several minutes. I reopen the door again due to the chime… No greeting. Another person comes and they yell, «Hello?!?» Some guy comes out. Says she’s be back and walks away… Could you be more professional? Didn’t say, I’m sorry for the wait, how can I help you today?” None of that. We sign in and this young woman comes in with lunch and walks right past us.
What if she was gone for an hour?! You could have had the courtesy to notify us of the situation so we could have made alternatives.
She comes back and calls for me when another person signed in before me.
Guess she played the clerk and nurse role. She took my vitals while leaving the front desk alone. Which you NEVER EVER DO when working with money. That is the number one rule of being a receptionist. Camera or not. It’s unprofessional and I could have taken other people’s information.
Another important thing is I NEVER saw a certification of licensure for the doctors. When going in the rooms you don’t see their credentials like real practices and urgent cares. The exam room was boring. Not your typical exam room. No sink?!? Every practice, the doctor enters and washes their hands to complete an exam. He never did a full exam. (Came in for possible strep). Never introduced himself. Not a typical triage. I requested the test and then the nurse or receptionist came in WITH HER CELL PHONE IN HER POCKET STICKING OUT!!! How unprofessional this place is!
I proceed to stick my tongue out so she can get a swan and she tells me stick your tongue out more, I can’t get to your throat. I’m sticking my tongue out as far as I can. I lean over because this girl is 10 feet away from me. she says I still can’t get to it. How about getting those this that depress your tongue. How about a tongue depressor and use your other hand to swab?!
She also opened the kit OUTSIDE THE ROOM. how do I know it was sterile?
Within 3 minutes he comes back? I asked if it was a snap test since those take 8 minutes. He acted like I was taking in Spanish.
No bedside manners. Unprofessional. Uninviting. No personality. and was ready to leave.
Will not be back. I train people on customer service and THIS PLACE LACKS THE MOST IMPORTANT SKILL TO HAVE!!!

Please, please don’t go to this clinic. It’s a waste of your hard earned money. I came in a couple weeks ago due to pain in my throat and ear but no typical symptoms of a cold or flu. He diagnosed me with strep throat. But something wasn’t right he didn’t take samples from my throat, didn’t bother listening to my symptoms. Anyways going against my gut I went to cvs to pick up my prescription. I took the first those and I felt awful. I got all the side effects so I stopped taking them. Long story short I had an infected gland! Don’t bother coming or wasting your money here. There’s better places to go.

Very nice, talented family physician! Wonderful and caring staff, they will call you at home if you have any questions — I would highly recommend them for families with children, or patients of any age in the Falls Church or Fairfax area. (Dr. Dar, who owns the clinic, also has a practice in Fairfax, and is attached to NOVA Hospital.) They were very alert and caught severe anemia that I had developed, as a vegetarian & runner, so that I could turn that around before needing blood transfusions. Dr. Dar is excellent at judging health status and very intuitive at recognizing when your system might be a tiny bit off. Very holistic.

This review is for the Spanish receptionist with shitty attitude, I have been a long time patient of Dr. Tran and now Dr. Rizvan. Doctors are great but never had decent experience with the Spanish receptionist who always seem to have attitude and treat patients like we are basically a shit, I called today concerning my bill, and she refused to listen to my concerns and started to rise her voice and hung up the phone on my face. I hope the doctors sees this review and give her a lesson about how to be professional. I am a medical professional myself so I know the way she is dealing with patient is completely wrong.

This clinic is great! The doctors are friendly as well as the staff. I would recommend this clinic to anyone in the area. The office is located in a very accessible area and the doctors have great bedside manner. I go to this clinic whenever I have a illness and the doctors make me feel like I am part of their family.

Wrestling is a breeding ground for bacteria so it was no surprise when my little brother told me he thinks he contracted the staph infection his brother had less than a week ago. Loehmann’s Walk In Clinic was near by and a spot where they had gone to when they needed to do a physical exam for school so we decided to stop in.
The front desk was as nice as can be and got us processed pretty quickly. We were in and out of there in an hour which was really impressive. The doctor who saw us was pretty pleasant and prescribed us some antibiotics that we were able to fill next door easily.
That being said after all that convenience, I am going to have to give this place two stars:
— The waiting room while clean, is in need of a major upgrade. It just looks really dingy.
— The doctor did not do a skin culture, which I think would have been a good follow up.
— The cream he prescribed had the instructions: «Apply twice daily to pubic rash.» WTF? My little brother had an infection behind his knee. I googled the information because what do I know and apparently the cream he prescribed was for ringworm, vaginal infections, and jock itch. None of what my brother had. I also figured… what do I know? I’m not a medical doctor. So I looked if the cream can help treat staph. NOPE. Luckily, I had some cream left over from other brother’s staph infection from a week ago so we are all good but I’m kind of amazed that this would happen.
For quick check ups, this place is a good spot but other wise go elsewhere. I prefer Simplicity Urgent Care (which is under Inova) on Columbia Pike.

Dr. Dar is awesome! I had shooting sciatica pain one Saturday morning. I was in agony when I reached the clinic. Dr. Dar’s caring and compassionate manner calmed me. He is very competent and highly professional. I strongly recommend him to all my friends and colleagues.
Minimal wait time and polite staff.

Been going here for a very long time. I get all of my shots and do my checkups here, love talking to the very knowledgable doctors they have on staff.
Would definitely recommend them to others and my entire family goes here as well.

Pretty simple. Hours say 10:00AM. Show up at 10:05AM. Nobody is there. Walk around a bit and come back around 10:30, when I happen to catch the assistant walking in the door. Asked if they will be opening soon, which she said they opened at 10:00AM (I looked at my watch, and I think at this point she realized it was already 30 minutes past.) Furthermore, holds a finger up to tell me to wait a moment, she goes inside, comes back to ask what service was needed. When I told her I had a sore throat, she was like «yeah, there’s no doctor today, and you’ll need a doctor. Come back tomorrow.» Why would a clinic be open with no doctor? What is the point of being open if your staff can’t do anything? They also have a missing persons mug-​shot outside, which further confirmed that I need to avoid this place by all means necessary.

Been here several times, not by choice, just had nowhere else to go. Bad service all around. Front staff is rude and Dr. Isn’t so good himself. Won’t be coming back.

Small walk in clinic. The doctor is knowledgable and has helped me a couple of times with prescriptions. I also believe you can see them as your general practitioner. I would not go here for urgent clinic type scenarios because they’re not always equipped. They didn’t have the glue required for large cuts one time. Overall a good small place with minimal wait time if you just show up.

Came here to do med exam for my immigration paper work. First visit went smoothly, and was told to back on a second visit to check on results and finalized paper. I specifically asked if on my second visit the doctor would be there to finalized the documents and they said yes. But this was not true, on my second visit I was greeted by a very rude receptionist with some serious attitude and had to call the doctor myself to see what was going on. I finally was able to get the doctor to come and he was very nice. But the staff that day just gave me the run around and weren’t helpful at all until the doctor came himself to sort the matter him.
Please note the only doctor there approved to sign off on USCIS med exam paper is dr. Dar and mr. Tran is no longer there. Some of the staff there didn’t know this when I asked them.

Came here twice to get some immunization shots for my upcoming overseas trip. I was able to get Hep A shot, Hep B shot, Typhoid pills and a Malaria prescription. If you’re looking to get a bunch of vaccines like I did, it’s recommended that you call ahead, as they didn’t carry everything and had to order a few. If you go around lunch hours, it gets pretty busy (3 patients ahead of me) so make sure you have some time to kill just in case.

Dr. Dar is a professional, intelligent, and caring physician with good bedside manner. He helped me through a tough time. I needed to see someone that was easily accessible and the walk-​in clinic method worked for me, and he quickly became my primary care doctor, which surprised me, but I am so happy with. My health has improved in the two years I have visited with him. His staff is friendly and professional. Only good things to say. Definitely recommend to folks, especially those who don’t like to see doctors, who want to avoid the hassle of «planning ahead».

I used to work at a doctors office, so I know how crazy it can get. Granted I was only here for vaccines to update my immunization record, the doctor was very kind. I mean she had the bedside manner of an angel. The woman at the registration desk was pleasant and helpful. I was in and out and the cost wasn’t so bad either, considering vaccines are pretty pricey. The only thing I would complain about is that she didn’t give me the papers you’re supposed to get on the shots you’ve taken, but honestly who reads those anyway? And they’re on the CDC website if you really want the info so meh. Great place good people.

I walked into the clinic in a panic because my son had taken a very nasty fall. We were greeted as soon as we came in. The nurse was very helpful and took the time to explain my insurance benefits. The whole process went very smooth and the staff was very nice and helpful. I plan to use this office for many others services for my family and I. Its very refreshing to finally find a clinic that I can depend on!

Potentially the worst doctor’s office I have ever been to (and I’ve lived in developing countries)! Staff is unprofessional and rude. I had an appointment and they called me 1 hour before and said I needed to reschedule since it was over their lunch break and they don’t take patients over lunch. When you walk in no one greets you and even if there is no one there you are ignored for at least 20 – 30 minutes. There is no patient confidentiality since papers are left all over the place and walls are paper thin so you can hear everything going on in the other room. Services are overpriced and they get mad if you want to be explained anything about the price and just want you to pay. Pretty much an all around a horrible experience. I will never step foot in this clinic ever again.
