The DubNutz

I’m a life long VW owner, currently with 4 in the stable. One of which is an uncommon model with many discontinued parts.
I called looking for one such discontinued part on a whim and a prayer. Though, they did not have the part, Keith spent quite a bit of time on the phone with me explaining how I might be able to do a work around fitting. He also emailed me a diagram of the fuel system so that I knew exactly what part I was in need of and suggested I call back with any additional questions.
I appreciated the time and feedback I got from Keith and am very grateful for his suggestions.

Perhaps a local shop visit might be better. I would not recommend ordering from their website. I ordered a part via the website after speaking with a salesman via telephone 5 minutes before his shift ended.
The part (secondary air inlet hose) arrived, but the section near the combi valve did not fit properly… Neither my voicemail nor my 2 email submissions via their web portal were ever answered. Therefore, I wrote a review on the product page, but it required approval from their staff before it could be published for all website visitors to see!!!
Well, 2 weeks later, I decided to check back to see if my product review was published. Unfortunately, my review of their poor customer service and incorrect part for my 2001 VW Golf GTI with AWD engine (built in 2000) was not posted… Instead, a brand new disclaimer was posted under the part description stating that it would not fit cars with my engine code… A little late on that notice, but I was surely their guinea pig who did not receive a refund for the incorrect part.
Fast forward 1 month. While I was out of town and very very far from my credit union, I received a call from credit card fraud protection informing me that my card was fraudulently used in Oregon when I have never visited the Northwest; ever. For the last 2 months, I have been receiving unknown and strange calls from New York City, from Jamaica, from 800 numbers, and from my home area. Needless to say, I no longer answer any unknown callers; this does not help a single guy meet a lady of the night (I suppose it’s finally time to purchase a prepaid phone…).
During this period, I did not used my credit card at any new places other than DubNutz since it was my first ever purchase from them. All purchases during this period were made from companies that I regularly do business with. I did not eat at restaurants nor hand anyone my card.
I highly suspect DubNutz is involved in shady practices and/​or employs shifty personnel.
Customer service was very poor. I would definitely recommend calling them instead. Even my sales rep was anxious to leave the office when I was speaking with him for only 5 minutes.
Unfortunately, I work grave yard shift and can rarely sync up with their telephone representatives… To date, I have not received any responses from DubNutz nor have I received any refunds.
