Hi Line RV Repair strives to be a one stop shop. We do all from diagnostic of electrical, Plumbing, Appliances, Generator service, Water damage repair. Collision damage, New floors, New roofs (Tin or Rubber), Cab over replacement, Hitch & Tow plug installation, Engine service & Oil Changes, Pre buyers inspection, Insurance claims & estimates. Winterizing, Remodels, Fabrication, Painting, welding and U-​haul rentals.

History

Established in 1970.

Hi Line RV has been around since the early 70’s I had taken over the name after running a RV rental business next door in 2005. One thing I’ve learned is that this business has survived on reputation alone with minimal advertising. Word of mouth is King and we strive to do the job right the first time and make it affordable to you.

Business Owner

Zhaun started his own RV rental business in 2002 by renting out private owners RV’s. The fleet grew to 28 motorhomes in 2004. In 2005 he bought Hi Line RV in name and added RV repair to the business. 2008 brought new challenges with the economy and had to make changes. He had to part ways with the private owners and go with a nation wide RV rental company in «El Monte RV» at the same time adding U-​haul moving trucks & trailers. Things turned around and was able to keep things going. This last year of 2014 Zhaun decided to end the RV rental business and just concentrate on repairs thus making repairs the primary focus of the business.

I had a pop-​up tent trailer with a heater that wouldn’t start. I’d had a few people (not professionals) take a look at it and we just couldn’t figure it out. I was nervous to take it into an RV repair place because of the possible cost. Even used it several times in the fall without the heat (brrrr!!)
I finally pulled the trigger and found the nearest RV repair shop. I called Hi-​line and they quoted me $ 55 for just a diagnosis. Luckily it was not too far away and I was able to drop it off before work even though they weren’t scheduled to look at it until the next day. I dropped it off in there lot and opened it up and left. They actually got too it right away and called me back with in a couple hours saying it was simply and adjustment to the connection in the thermostat (no parts needed!) and they wouldn’t charge me more than the diagnosis price of $ 55+tax.
I realize this is best case scenario as far as things going wrong but that hassle of getting everything diagnosed and fixed was made smooth and as enjoyable as possible. I appreciate their work and recommend them to anyone asking.

Yes, their shop is a little dirty but your not going to be paying for the high overhead some RV shops have to contend with. I got an estimate for a complete roof replacement that was a full 30% less than the other two estimates. The roof was done well and on time, I saved a boatload of cash and they actually put a roof membrane on that is twice as thick as the manufacturers original specs. I would recommend Highline to anyone looking for professional work done for reasonable rates. I’m a happy camper.

I first started going to Hi-​Line just over a year ago when our Thor Pinnacle 340 up and died (while going up a hill, naturally) on the way to get the emissions test.
I called Good Sam Roadside Assistance (Worth it’s weight in GOLD!!!) and they gave me a choice of several repair centers. After calling those closest, with no luck (it was almost 5:00 PM) I tried Hi-​Line. The owner, Zhaun Dagley, stayed over an hour late to wait for the tow by West and Sons Towing (another 5-​Star find!).
Jeremy, their mechanic, called me before mid-​morning the next day with the «prognosis»: the 21 year old alternator finally gave up the ghost. The repair was done quickly, efficiently and at a very reasonable price.
Next, we went back to Hi-​Line for a refrigerator problem. They could have billed me far more than they did, but just told me that I didn’t reconnect the wires correctly when I replaced the house batteries, and charged a minuscule diagnostic fee.
Since then, we’ve gone back to them for both structural repair & maintenance and an electrical problem.
We’ll be taking our RV to Hi-​Line for as long as we live in WA.

I had a reserve for a uhaul truck at 9 am. Even thought they open at 9 the girl did not show up until 9:25 am. The place reeked of marijuana (not that I give a shit, but extremely unprofessional when running a business.) Also the place was beyond dirty. Disgusting.
Slackers and not dependable. Go somewhere else.

Got stranded outside a music venue while on tour in Seattle. Our RV’s door mechanism had broken and our vehicle wouldn’t start. We had a locksmith come out, charge us an arm and leg only to offer the sole option of breaking our door open.
We waited until the morning to tow the vehicle to Hi-​Line. Jeremy was very accommodating to help make sure we were taken care of as soon as possible. He was knowledgable, friendly, and the explained the issues the vehicle was experiencing in detail. He went out of his way to help us evaluate the any remaining repair costs so we can avoid being taken advantage of in the future. Within no time he had repaired the vehicle and now we are on the road to meet up with the rest of our band.
