Great first time RV buying experience! We showed up to look and were promptly shown around by Alex. We let him know we had just started looking and he gave us no pressure to buy. After looking at a few other places, we went back and saw Chase (Alex was helping other customers) Alex did pop in to make sure Chase had us taken care of — and he did. This time we found exactly what we wanted and signed the deal! Everyone involved was great and we are super excited to make our first voyage in our new travel trailer next weekend! Thanks for making the buying process easy and painless!

There was NO miscommunication, the salesman would only talk to my non disabled partner and refused to talk to me. In fact, when my partner walked away the salesman quit talking and threw his hands up in disappointment even though I was standing next to the salesman. I will not contact this scumbag manager. He is a liar and is only protecting his own interest after his salesman was discriminatory. Again buyer beware this company will screw you anyway they can and lie about it.

Saw the ad for Poulsbo Rv today and their claim to guaranteed workmanship. Previous posts on the work they did were not good. I took the trailer back last year due to a soft spot on the back of the trailer where you can see the joints of their repair to the underlay wood. They told me nothing they could do that this happens to joint areas. Funny it has not happened anywhere else, just where they did all the repair work. So what they type in their ads, words, they are just words with no backing. After taking over $ 14,000 in insurance funds they have not held up to their part of the repairs.

Brian Gehl and Michael Ware in the service department were excellent! We purchased our new RV from Poulsbo and needed to have some warranty work done. They kept me in the loop the whole time while giving me updates as to how the process was going. At one point, they even went to bat for us with the manufacturer and the whole dealership made it right. From beginning to end, the whole process of purchasing, winterizing, and warranty work went extremely well. I highly recommend.

Updated review — [After the sale]. Now that they have our money, its clear that we don’t really matter all that much. They were great and stored our camper until we could pick it up. We called to make an apt to pick it up, confirmed the time we would be there and when we showed up the next day — they didn’t have it ready. They eventually got it ready for us and were able to help us a bit, but it seems they misplaced our second set of keys and promised to contact us with a second set. Its been nearly 4 weeks now and we haven’t heard back from them at all. We also found quite a bit of misc manufacturing materials in the camper and a leak in one of the water pipes that hadn’t been tightened. I was excited because I thought I had found somewhere that really cared about their customers, but it seems that the caring stops once the money is handed over. They have great selection, but I would recommend being very diligent on the condition of your trailer /​RV and the follow up process once your have purchased your camper.
[At the sale] Chase, Dave and Dana were a great team to help us make our camping dreams. Chase was excellent at showing us around and stayed late to give us a tour of an extra trailer, Dave was friendly and made the purchase process easy to understand and Dana was the tech who walked us through all of the details for our new RPod. Buying was a breeze. We had a fair idea of what we wanted, our salesman Chase went above and beyond to find the exact trailer for us. And Dave in the finance office made the rest of the purchase process a breeze. I’ve referred two friends to them so far and will continue to do so! Thank you Chase and Dave for making the process effortless for us! Also the service tech Ryan drove all the way to my house to make sure my stabilizer was setup properly.

This review is in regard to the service department. Make sure you double check that everything you came in with is there when you drive it off the lot. We had the axle replaced in our rv and they had it for quite a while. We brought it home and didn’t notice that the tv had been removed and not replaced until we were getting ready for this year’s camping season. Of course their response was that they had no reason to take it down. So basically it disappeared out of the locked trailer in my driveway.

Had very nice management, Chase our salesman was very courteous, funny and helpful, explaining everything before we left! Ours was a trade in to a larger unit, very nice, just what we were looking for!!! Yes for Kent!!!

I’m looking at the negative comments, some of the people conveyed that they were asked the same questions. I understand if people felt that the salesman was prying but to me and my husband these are excellent questions to ask to a potential buyer, but to each their own. Ok on to our review.
If you are looking for the type of sleazy salesman that make you feel like you’re in shark infested waters when you want to buy something, then this is not the place for you. I have never, ever had such a lowkey wonderful buying experience like this before. We are hard working people and this was a big purchase for us and while I was very apprehensive on buying (my husband was not), it was so easy and painless. :) There was no type of anyone making us feel like we needed to buy, no pushiness, no hey buy this «more expensive model» instead of what you can really afford, nothing like that at all. Our salesmen Michael and finance «whiz» Dave were very honest and forthright in what we could afford and how they could help us to afford this. We gave Michael the parameters on what we wanted and Michael showed us what he thought we needed and it worked. Excellent customer service from beginning to end. Special kudos to our service tech for giving us a very thorough and informative tour on how to work our RV. Also, we so very much appreciate your help with our «trailer hitch» issue. You went over and beyond and we will never forget that. A day after receiving our trailer, we are using it and loving it. What a nice trailer! If you want a great buying experience, please go to this place, it’s really very, very nice.

Would live to give. 0 but doesn’t seem to be an option. Just spent 10 minutes waiting at their reception desk with not a single person asking if I needed assistance. Lots of people milling about and sitting at their desks … No one interested in helping me

I have been super pleased with my experience with Poulsbo RV’s Service Department. My 2015 FR V-​Cross Platinum TT has spent literally weeks in the shop here throughout 2015 for poor build quality issues. I still cannot believe the POS Forest River delivered. But Scott and his team at Poulsbo RV have been diligently thorough at getting things fixed and holding the manufacturer to their warranty, which to me means accountable to their negligence. Had it not been for the excellent customer service and their genuine desire to take care of me, I don’t know where I would be with this rig today. Likely in Lemon Law mitigation with Forest River.
The most appreciative thing for me though, since I didn’t purchase the RV here or in Washington State, is that they take care of me like I’m one of their own. Thank you Scott! Because of you, my next RV Purchase ABSOLUTELY will be at Poulsbo RV in Kent. I know I can trust that I will be taken care of, long after the RV purchase.

I went to the dealership to look at some trailers. Same experience as other customers (Jen R., for example) has complained: Before letting you take a look at any trailer, they asked you a lot of questions: how you plan to use your rv/​trailer, what’s your planned monthly payment, etc. It has been almost half year now so I forgot the details of the questions, but it makes you feel extremely uncomfortable and makes you feel that they are in control of you.
They simply don’t understand that when people are starting to look for this kind of things, a lot of time they have a rough idea of what they want, but they will change as they see more units, they will eventually change their own opinions about the floor plan they want or the budget they want to spent. Giving customers enough opportunities and the relaxed atmosphere to explore different options is a key to draw customers.
One question I do remember clearly is that they asked me at least three times «what’s my monthly payment budget on buying a trailer». I told him not to worry about this because finance wise it is no problem for me, but he just kept asking. Asking for «maximum tolerable
monthly payment» is a common trick that auto/​rv sales person to deviate you from the real price of the vehicle to how much you can afford (so you are paying based on how much you can afford instead of how much this thing worth).
Very shitty practice and very poor experience.

Excellent no-​pressure customer service and the best selection of RVs in the area. George was my sales person and he is just simply a nice guy. If you are looking for an RV, I suggest you come here, ask for George, and you will be in good hands. My sister and her husband stopped by to see the trailer we were buying and they ended up buying one too. Very pleased with everything.

Called the service department today inquiring about some Winnebago warranty items to get done. The first thing the service advisor (a guy, forgot his name) asked was «did you purchase it from us?» «No», I replied. «I bought it from Forest City, IA, and I just got back from visiting the factory «. The service advisor then told me it would be in fall when he can get me in, and asked me to get the service where I purchased! Yup, what a nice customer service! Few things happened on the way back from Iowa that needed attention. I just couldn’t believe that’s how the service department treats their potential customers. The last thing he told me on the phone was «check back in fall». Yup, no thank you! The old saying that the sales department sold the first car and the service department sells the second car! Poulsbo RV lost sale of two cars! Wonder if Winnebago industry knows how this dealership treats its customers. Hmm.

Poulsbo RV in Kent is great! They did the right thing and it was easy! Sept. ’14 I purchased a ’14 Tiffin Phaeton from them. First off, it’s always about the people, the staff and they were great. Very helpful and fair. Last week I learned that when setting up my tow car, they inadvertently installed the incorrect model for the Brake Assist. I immediately called Anthony K., our salesperson, who we really liked. He relayed this issue to the GM, Scott T, who called right away, then called the manufacturer to confirm what I had said. On the same day I initially called, Scott called me back and happily reimbursed me for the purchase of the conversion kit and labor to installed. We received the check with two weeks. We are full-​timers and on the East Coast now so we could not return to the dealership. That’s the definition of service after sale. We have and continue to be very satisfied with Poulsbo. Very reputable and great staff!

I’m surprised by the low ratings. We just purchased an RV from Poulsbo RV and everything about the transaction was 5 star. Our sales person was Chris and he helped us get everything we needed. We got top value for our trade in, what we could have made selling it on our own. We got deliver with in 5 days, and our walk through was thorough. We also had our tow package installed in our vehicle, and it was ready when we arrived for pick up. I would recommend them to anyone!

Years ago Poulsbo RV was a place I’d never go again because of the aggressive sales folks. Luckly for me sales folks change! We downsized from a 41ft. pusher to a 32ft Class C recently. Steven Sullivan & Bob Fennel were extremely professional and put a deal together that made me and my bride happy campers. Since we’re seasoned Rvers they were able to answer all of our questions. We’ve only had one minor issue covered under warranty expertly by Mike in parts and Gorden in service. Yes, we will return and recommend these guys to prospective buyers!

If I could give no stars I would! We are a young couple looking to purchase a class A, I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I felt as if I needed to give my first born to just look at their class A’s. They have some ridiculous checklist asking what you are going to use the unit for, where you want to park it, what you want your payment to be etc… that they have to go over before you can even look at their units. I had a price range that I wanted to be in and a specific layout I wanted… sales guy had no idea on prices when showing units to us and kept repeating that this and that would be fixed upon the PDI inspection process.

I’ve stopped into Paulsbo RV twice in the last few months when I couldn’t find the parts I needed anywhere close to home.
These guys have wowed me with their customer service. I wished I had bought my RV from them. Mike McDonnell in the parts area is a superstar. He even called the manufacturer with my VIN number today to get me the right stuff.
These guys are five stars!!!

We spotted an RV that we wanted to look at through RV Trader. Poulsbo RV doesn’t post prices so I requested a price online using the button on the site. The following morning I received an email from their «Internet Sales Manager» saying they were «checking availability of that model». Weird! THEIR website shows that stock number at that very store. Anyway, we decided to go to the store to look at the unit and unearth the price.
We were greeted by an «All RVs are locked» sign. How welcoming! You must get permission from the all powerful salesman to proceed. When I asked about the unit we were looking for (a toy hauler popup) the salesman rudely informed me that I would need to go to Tacoma to another dealer (Apache RVs) if I wanted «that type». I guess since he was dressed rather fancy, he was entitled to bristle at the thought of people getting dirty. To each his own.
I have no doubts as to the legitimacy of the negative reviews on this site. I do question the positive reviews.
Signs you are about to be taken to the cleaners: (1) no prices posted/​no prices without name, rank and serial number. This is a way to buy time to run a credit check to see if you’re worthy of their time. (2) all RVs are locked. This is a great way to direct you to the salesman that will harangue you incessantly. A sign that they don’t care what you want, only what they can sell you. (3) «No salesman available» when you call. This is to get your name to perform items 1 and 2 above more efficiently. Why return a call if you don’t qualify for the required fleecing? (4) disinterest in selling less expensive or used RVs. It’s all about the commission. Try driving an older car in wearing work clothes. You MIGHT get the junior person… if they are feeling generous.
Snooty, cutthroat salesmen will kill the deal EVERY TIME for me. They just refused the sale of an RV because they wouldn’t answer my first question.
