Jenny’s Relaxation Facials

Jenny has absolutely saved my skin. I’ve had cystic, hormonal acne for most of my adult life. When I first came to her, I had tried everything ~ peels, regular facials, prescriptions, etc. I was at my wit’s end, having done everything I was told by various doctors and estheticians that I should do. I was skeptical of Jenny’s strict regimen at first, as it meant I had to use special shampoo, & let go of my favorite make-​up & skin care. But let me tell you ~ it works. My skin is now consistently the clearest its been in about 10 years. The horrible cysts that I got on a regular basis (3 – 4 at a time!) never happen anymore. Its incredible, and I am very grateful to Jenny for the work she does.

Jenny is a miracle worker! I struggled with acne for years to a point where my face was completely covered with uncomfortable red clusters. I was hopeless and didn’t really expect much going into my treatments. Six months later, my skin is completely clear thanks to Jenny’s facials, extractions, and line of wonderful products. She is a true healer and a kind soul. I look forward to returning every few weeks and will never switch my régime!

I have to start off by saying when I arrived I instantly felt comfortable with Jenny and she seems to radiate a calming sense of character. You can tell she truly loves and knows what she is doing in the Skin Care field. She is honest, respectful and considerate of her clients and I have already recommended her to a few friends and will continue to do so.
Her business is located in her house which is actually very relaxing, while I was receiving my facial you could hear the train that runs through Felton in the distance very low which was calming. The main house is completely separate from her Skin Care studio which makes it nice as well. The entire place is very clean.
I bought the Groupon due to her amazing reviews and was pleasantly impressed!
She definitely takes her time to provide the best care for her clients and makes sure to ask important questions without having a ‘selling focused’ intention. Not only did the facial and peel feel heavenly she lightly massaged my legs and arms during the products setting and it was very relaxing.
I trust her advice and bought all four products she recommended for my skin (none she makes a dime off of, she recommends them for the patient’s best interest which she doesn’t have to do) and have been satisfied with all four products; not that I had any doubt.
I look forward to more facials, treatments and guidance from Jenny, she’s great!
One last thing, her prices are very reasonable and worth every penny considering her outstanding service.

Last week I drove from San Francisco to visit a friend near Santa Cruz and she encouraged me to see Jenny for a facial. I always thought of facials as pleasant indulgences… that is until my appointment with Jenny. I’m 55 and have been to many estheticians, some who were supposedly «renowned» for their skills. (and high prices!!!) As others have said not only was Jenny very affordable but more importantly she was outstanding, beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. This was the first time I left feeling that I had a plan to correct some long term skin issues and a clear strategy. I have lines on my neck that my dermatologist said only Botox «might» help. Jenny targeted some special products to this area and it’s only been about a week but I am already seeing positive results. She is incredible! (and oh so kind and gentle, too.) I will gladly make the long trek from San Francisco for continued therapeutic sessions with Jenny.

I have been going to Jenny for several years now. I am a woman over 65 and my skin have never felt so wonderful. I always feel so well taken care of and nurtured.
The last time, just a couple of weeks ago, she did a peel, which I could really feel working. All her preparations smell as if you want to eat them — fresh herbs, berries, and I think she used honey. My skin was as smooth and fresh as a baby’s bottom.
She also treated me to a hot rock and a foot massage.
Her new location in Scotts Valley is in a beauty supply store with easy parking in front. She has a separate, private salon in back which feels like a little sanctuary.
The whole experience is dreamy and did I say how wonderful my skin is?
And I feel her priciing is spot-​on.

Jenny has helped my skin so much in this relatively short amount of time — I’ve struggled with acne since I was 11 years old. I’ve been to dermatologists, tried SO MANY products (it’s obscene) and nothing really worked, or didn’t work for very long… Six months ago when I walked into her studio for the first time, I actually cried because I was so upset over the way my skin looked. Jenny was so sweet, she gave me a hug and assured me she’d get my skin looking clear again. I wish I had found Jenny years ago, but I am grateful that I at least have her on my side now because it is completely clear!!!

Every visit to Jenny gives you a super shot of well being. Her studio is cozy and her hands are experts. She is extremely passionate about what she does and genuine in her caring for your skin. You walk out of her studio on a cloud and feel armed with quality products and knowledge to face the damaging rays and effects of age that await you.

I had my second facial with Jenny today and it was a little bit of heaven! I went for the light peel facial (all the while thinking of that scene from Sex in The City with Samantha). I could definitely tell that it was working on my tired, dry skin. When it was time to wash it off, Jenny used cold wipes and a fan to cool me down, then mixed up a yummy blueberry/​honey mask! So thick and gooey and delicious! My eyes were covered and when the mask dried she peeled it away and it was just like coming out of a cocoon! Amazing feeling!
I’ve also had the Vitamin C facial and use her facial cleanser, re-​hydrating lotion and sunscreen, all of which I highly recommend! After using the products for a week, I could see huge changes in my complexion!
Probably the best thing about going to Jenny is that she really connects with me. Asks me questions deeper than «what are your trouble spots?». She’s intuitive and, given the go ahead, will give you whatever treatment she thinks will benefit you the most. It’s very obvious that she cares about the people she’s working with.
I drive across town to receive her blessings, and will continue to do so.

I found Jenny through a Living Social deal and have come to her quite a few times since then. She gives a great facial, using very good products. She is very informative and makes you feel comfortable, no like some other places that make you feel bad if you have pimples. I am getting married in August and my skin has never looked better. I highly recommend her.

I came to see Jenny after struggling with acne for more than half my life. I’ve poured countless amounts of money into skin products and treatments, and I had gotten to the point where I just accepted that nothing would work for my skin and I’d just have horrible skin forever. I really thought it couldn’t get better. And then I found Jenny.
I initially contacted Jenny because I wanted a simple facial with extractions; my pores were always clogged and it drove me crazy to have that junk in my face. I’m a picker and I thought the solution to this would be to have a professional pick my face for me. I called Jenny to schedule an appointment and she said that she’d like to work with me and really get to know my skin before she treated it. I immediately liked her over the phone. She’s kind, sincere, and I could tell that she does this so that she can help people like me feel better about themselves.
After filling out a thorough questionnaire that asked me everything from what make-​up I use to what kind of foods I eat, I went and met with Jenny. If I was impressed on the phone, I was even more so when I met her in person. She is as good as estheticians, no, people, come! I decided to purchase a package from her that included three treatments/​peels, products, as well as advice on what make-​up to use, what foods to avoid, and how to use all the products she provided.
Here I am, not even 2 months since I began seeing Jenny, and though my skin is not perfectly clear (yet), it is drastically improved from that first day I walked in to see her. I’m not embarrassed to look people in the face anymore. And since my pores are almost completely clear, I hardly pick my face at all… read: far less scarring on my future face. I look forward to my appointments with Jenny, not only because I can see my skin improving every day, but because she is wonderful. She is so easy to talk to, not just about my skin, but about everything. I can’t leave without giving her a hug. Even better, I’ve never felt pressured to buy products/​services from her. It is so apparent that she provides her services to change the way people feel about themselves. And let me tell you, she excels at what she does. Did I mention that she is a great masseuse as well?
I could go on about how amazing Jenny is, but I’ll stop for your sake. Let me just say this: even if you don’t struggle with acne, Jenny will change your skin and your life. I’m NEVER seeing another esthetician as long as I live in the Bay Area.

I stand by my original review of Jenny’s services — only want to add that I’ve been going back to Jenny religiously since last fall, and my skin has never looked better.

I recently received a facial from Jenny and was extremely satisfied! She is thorough and precise, yet gentle with all her treatments, and her demeanor is calming and sincere, so she immediately puts you at ease. Jenny does her utmost to make sure you are always comfortable by frequently checking in with you and explaining each step of the process. Best of all, her neck massage is *heavenly*! She also did a wonderful job massaging my hands and feet – it just melted all my stress away.
The way Jenny does extractions is also noteworthy, since she thoroughly cleans out all the little blackheads and impurities without stressing your skin or causing any pain. I will definitely be returning to her in the future and recommending her to my friends. Jenni is knowledgeable, thorough, and has a really personable manner. My skin looked amazing after the facial – you won’t find a better aesthetician in the area!

I’ll never need to find another spa again.
And when I move someday, I’ll need to convince Jenny to move where I’m going.
I moved to the Bay Area a couple years ago and haven’t had a facial since. Why? I guess it’s been my criteria– I like someone who trends towards natural products, who does the extractions and who doesn’t charge outrageous rates.
Enter Jenny and the Garden Spa.
You know she’s good because my friend heard about it from her sister who then told me and within a month, all three of us had seen her and started raving.
Jenny does a full assessment of your skin down to the foods you’re eating. Then she spent a good 1.5 hours working on my skin using mostly natural ingredients and fancy gadgets like the galvanic spa.
Here’s the kicker… after all that you’d think «wow, this was worth $ 150 at least»…then Jenny gives you products for your skin to last you 3 months. These are specially formatted for your skin type. I felt like I robbed the place.
The whole shebang cost $ 89. Just to review:
— 3 months of product (cleanser, cream, serum, oil)
— 1.5 hours of treatment
— Premium services like the galvanic spa
— Foot and arm massage, hot rocks on your back
She says she doesn’t think it’s right to overcharge. She is honest and sincere and has a very calming persona. And yes, she has beautiful fluffy, glowing skin– the best ad of all. She does other services like massage and waxing… looking forward to doing that next!
I usually keep secrets like this to myself. But she’s too good to keep under wraps and I want to see her business succeed.
