Description

Specialties

Goober P’s Splash & Dash Mobile Grooming is a pet grooming service that comes directly to your door! It’s easy and convenient — no dragging your pet to the groomer and having them stress out in the car. They will not experience any other animals during the grooming process nor will they be kenneled. It will be a personal, one-on-one, relaxing experience for your pet. In the meantime, you can be at home getting things done! No need to «kill time» while waiting for the groomer to finish.

I use natural, cruelty-free shampoos, conditioners, and fragrances. No extra fees for oatmeal or flea and tick (natural) shampoo and I NEVER use cage dryers!

There’s no «service fees» or «fuel surcharges». And no need to hook up to your electricity or water supply — my Goober Van is fully equipped with water (warm and cold) and electricity (via battery inverter), heated and air conditioned. It’s like a mobile spa for your pet!

History

Established in 2012.

I started Goober P’s Splash & Dash Mobile Grooming when I realized the need and convenience it would provide for some individuals. I have spent many hours volunteering with an animal rescue as a street team leader — delivering food and straw and other needs to individuals in a lower-income community. I met many pet owners who were elderly, homebound, or had no transportation to get their pets to a groomer, so I decided to find a way to go to them. The whole purpose of this business was to help the pets of the owners in need and to make it affordable for them to do so, while doing my passion: caring for animals.

I named the business after my chihuahua, Peanut, who we also call GOOBER P. He, like the many other fur-babies I have, is an inspiration to me!
