This is not the place to go if you are wanting responsive, patient-centered care. The front office staff is unsympathetic. There has recently been quite a bit of turnover in the physicians at the practice, and the change has improved nothing. Heaven forbid you need a prescription re-issued upon expiry. They require 48 hours notice, while others within the same network will see to it you get your prescription as soon as possible. Why it’s faster to go in to the office and take up the time of the staff and physicians with an unnecessary visit than it is to call and ask for them to send the Rx info to the pharmacy is beyond me.

I have been going to this office for 18 years. When Drs. Wanee and Pletzer owned it, there was never an issue. Both of them have moved on. They sold the practice to St. Vincent and it has been just a terrible nightmare ever since. If you need an appointment, it will take weeks. If you’re sick for something immediate, call them as soon as they are open because there are only a handful of «sick» spots available for each doctor each day. The front office is so unhelpful and just seemingly can’t get anything right. This is one of the situations where two nurse practitioners are the reason for their success. Ilana and Suzi are both great NPs and should be full doctors. The only way to fix the rest of the office is to just change doctors. This is very sad. I love my NP’s, but I hate their office. Run from this place.

Been going there for 25 years, before and after the St Vincent sell out. Dr Wanee was my primary DR. He’s gone now. And so it’s Pletzer. So is Jourdan. It’s still not bad. But it has lost some of the local town feel as it used to have. Sorry to see all the changes. Better than county health dept!(Not that I’ve ever needed to use that.) They’re very close to my house, and I rarely need a DR anyway, so I’ll continue to use them.

This used to be a great practice, with great family doctors. Once they sold out to St. Vincent’s, that changed. I feel like just another head of cattle in there now. If they take more than 1 minute to look at you they feel overburdened. Now, the goal is production line. Pletzer, Wanee, and Jourdan were all great family doctors. Jourdan left after the St. Vincent’s sellout. The others are still there. They brought in Wine to take Jourdan’s place and she might be the most bothered from having to see patients. FFP had one nurse practitioner who was just plain mean. She did not last long there and probably was not a good fit. It is hard to find a good doctor anymore. It is nearly impossible to find one outside of a hospital group. OTHER: FFP does have a very convenient service called Fast Track. One may walk-in without an appointment. The waiting room is kind of old, dark, and dingy looking. It has seen better days. The CVS Minute Clinic might be as convenient.
