Amazing beer selection. Best craft beer bar in the Northland. A must stop for beer lovers!!!

The chicken nachos with wonton chips and honey hot wings are awesome! Service is also excellent! One of my favorites in North County.

We recently moved to Florissant and stopped here on a whim. I am not a huge Italian fan, but the Cajun pasta dish was one of the best! Plenty of shrimp and sausage and the sauce was perfect! Service was also excellent! My husband had the sausage sandwich. It came on a toasted round bun, but he said it was pretty tasty! We will definitely go here again!

While the décor may be lacking, the service, food and drinks more than make up for it. The chicken nachos with wonton chips are killer and two can eat with leftovers. The White Russian drink is unique and better than any other we have tried. We started copying this drink and making it at home. The draft beer selection is crazy and comes with it’s own menu. The service is where they really shine. The wait staff has never let us down and we always leave pleased. Ask for Gibby, he’s the best but Rachel is a close second.

Pedestrian quality and leans towards what American’s think Italian food is. This was a restaurant that we’ve been meaning to go to for sometime now since living in Florissant with the draw being that they advertised a huge beer selection and authentic Italian food. While the list of beers is indeed large and varied the food left most of our party disappointed. We started with an dual appetizer of their meatballs and the goat cheese dip. Having had the goat cheese dip from several different locations I was really looking forward to this one. It was advertised as coming with garlic toast which should have balanced the taste quite well. However the dish that arrived didnt live up to those expectations. The sauce had too little goat cheese and tasted way to strong of a sweet red sauce. The garlic toast was more just plain toast as the pieces included had very little garlic-butter applied to them and was mostly plain white french bread. The meatballs were generous in size at first glance but, In my opinion, came with far too much of that same overly sweet red sauce. Cutting them open the cheese was nice and melty but they choose to use provel, an unfortunate side effect of being in St. Louis, which tends to get cold and harden pretty quickly and really is an acquired taste. The meat itself was really under seasoned and I wished they had been left to cook and form a nice crispy crust on two sides. As for main dishes the wife and I decided to share the Greek Chicken Pasta as we were both pretty much turned off on the idea of anything more with the red sauce. The idea behind the dish sounded good; grilled chicken, black olives, green peppers, artichoke hearts and diced tomatoes tossed with olive oil and butter sauce and topped with feta cheese. The dish we were served didnt live up to that. The pasta was lacking seasoning and tasted watery, as if they over cooked the pasta and didnt salt the water before hand. The chicken was overcooked and the dish had a very distinct burnt smell to it. Not a nice caramelized smell but the smell of something burnt on a surface that hasnt been cleaned of other food matter first. Once again the dish was way under seasoned lacking any garlic or fresh herbs that should have graced an olive oil and butter dish. One of our sons ordered Pasta Con Broccoli that he also said had little to no seasoning and the cream sauce was very watery(clearly not a rich cream sauce) with little of the sauce actually sticking to his pasta or the broccoli. Other son ordered the Cheval Burger and fries, and that was the only dish that came out as expected. The staff removed our dish from the bill and they were nice enough to put on a requested sports program on one of the television for us. Id probably come back for beer and watch some sports but I wont be back for the food.

Provel cheese on chicken parm — one word: puke! Why oh why this town insists upon that wretched cheese is beyond me.

Hubby and I went for the first time tonight. We’ve been eyeing this place for the last few weeks and finally decided to go. After readings reviews we decided we definitely needed to try the honey hot wings. We also got the blackened chicken fettuccine and Cajun pasta. The wings were delicious. We decided we’d go back just for the wings. The pasta was ok. The sauce on the Cajun pasta was really rich and thick. Flavor was good but it was a little too much richness for me. Next time we go back for wings I’d want to try their lasagna or maybe one of their sandwiches.

Place is a dedicated bar as well as a dedicated restaurant. 2 different sections. 56 beers on tap, from crafts to crap(aka bud light). Service was very cool! Definitely does not belong in Fluorescence. The night crowd was cowboy/ufc fun type crowd. No problems. Unless you want to listen to the song you selected but cant because some girls thought they were the Spice Girls or Hansen… In that case… You should be banned from the jukebox!!!

Best draught beer selection in North County. Food is always good. Pizza is very good with light, flaky thin crust. Service is good. Friendly crowd usually. Ambiance is lacking but lots of flat screes to watch sports. Typical sports bar atmosphere. You can do a lot worse ambiance-wise but you won’t do better beer selection-wise.

Open late night thru the week! Kitchen open until 11p! How shocked was I to find this gem in NoCo(North County). My friend and I are always looking for late night spots that are not«chain» restaurants and this is the place. Late night menu is appetizers and pizzas only, but that works. We shared a pizza and it was our true STL style, thin crust with a provel blend. I thought the pizza had great flavor, evenly balanced with toppings and the crust was perfect. Will be back.

My wife and I visited for the first time last night and all I could think was, «why haven’t we done this sooner?» The regular tap list is ridiculous and any craft beer fan in the St Louis area owes it to themselves to check this place out. Last night was part of the 10th Anniversary celebrations and there was also a rare keg tapping going on(which, admittedly, was the draw for us last night) so I don’t know if it was busier than usual for a Friday night but the place was *packed*. Even so, our server(Jack, I believe?) was awesome and chill and friendly and helpful. The food was great… what we had of it; it left me wanting to sample more! The cheesecake my son had was ridiculous and fresh and the«pretzel» on the app menu was just perfect in many ways. It barely qualifies as being a pretzel but boy was it good… the house ground mustard and beer cheese were excellent as well. And… the beer was even better than all of that. We will be returning, often. the only downer was entry: the host desk was overloaded and very inefficient. After being told we’d be helped right after they seated a party ahead of us and standing around for a further 10 minutes, someone ELSE said it would only be another 5 minutes and 10 minutes after THAT as both of those people walked by us repeatedly seemingly unaware that we were even there(come on, ONE update? anything?), we spotted a table being vacated in the bar and decided to jump on it as it might be our only chance to be seated. Honestly, minor complaint and the rest of the experience was lovely.

My husband and I stopped in this afternoon for our first visit. I was impressed with not only the number of beers on tap, but the number of local brew options! We enjoyed a few of these and ordered some dinner. He got the spaghetti with Italian sausage and I got the Greek chicken pasta. While we waited we snacked on complimentary bread. I also chose the side salad option and went with the house creamy Italian. Wow, was that a good decision! It was really tasty! I think I could dunk a doughnut in some of that and still love it! My pasta dish was also extremely good. Artichoke hearts, grilled chicken, tomatoes, black olives, feta over a bed of butter/garlic fettuccine. This can be risky, as I’ve had bland buttery-garlic noodles before, but these were amazing! I took half of my dish home and look forward to noshing on it again tomorrow. My husband enjoyed his dinner as well. Though the staff was busy, they were very friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to being a regular!

We had a banquet for our cheerleader age 6 to 18. This place that had a basement for a private event at first I was not sure but I got downstairs and the place was done so nice for the girls. The food we had was house salad /cheese bread(OMG) /mostaccioli /fettuccine /whipped potatoes /chicken strips /roast beef /and toasted ravioli. The food was so good we didn’t have any leftovers. The place is a little older and the could use a light face lift, but you can tell the locals love it. We were there on a Tuesday night and it was packed and every time I drive by they are busy. I can’t wait to go again and try to Cannelloni.

Cugino’s has some pretty good food. The best part about Cugino’s is the staff. This place is in my neck of the woods, so everytime we come in, they call us by name and they know our drink order immediately. My kid is a picky eater and they always know exactly what she wants and they make it her way. They just started serving a ton of draught imported beers which people seem to love. Do not expect«fine dining» when you come here. However, they have a menu that is diverse and not filled with typical St. Louis bar food. It’s a super casual and laid back atmosphere.

I think this place has a nice environment with very typical mid grade food. I was going to dinner with some friends who prefer safe places and I knew it would be. If you’re dining with people who like something more mainstream this is a good pick. For me, it was just nothing special. All the dishes were typical and just fine but nothing that blew me away.

My favorite place for St. Louis style pizza and really good salad(I get their deluxe with the house creamy italian dressing). My boyfriend is a huge fan of their honey hot wings — he says they are huge and the sauce is amazing. They have awesome happy hour specials in the bar and a fun but casual atmophere. Bartenders/Servers really get to know you if you come in regularly and it’s all in all a great time every time I go. I would recommend it to anyone in STL.

If your looking for a great place do grab some great Italian food with out having to go all the way down to the Hill… Cuginos is it! Not only is it a great place for food, but its a great place to grab a drink! Its a place that you could walk in and not know a single person and feel very welcome. They are never under staffed so you dont have to chase down the bartender or wait at the bar for 20 min to get a drink!!! Oh, and Karlos, your right the honey hot wings are great! Mon-Fri 4 – 6 they are only $ 5 for a pound!!!

We have been here several times, I love the Honey-Hot wings, while my wife likes the salad. I must admit, I look forward to her ordering the salad, because it’s really good and I can’t help but to stick my fork in her salad and have a bite(or 10). The salad is a very generous portion and the house dressing had a wonderful taste. The salad is covered in provel cheese and croutons with boiled eggs and tomatoes added for flavor and color. I heard the Honey-Hot wings that I enjoy ordering was an invention of one of the employee’s sons(who also works there). He wanted some wings that were both sweet and spicy, and thus created the wings. There were an off-menu item for awhile, but have since been added to their menu. The hot bread and butter rounds out the meal to make it very nice. If you in the mood for a sandwich, try either the blacken chicken or the steak sandwich. Also, depending on your mood, there is a restaurant to the right and a sports bar to the left of the hostess stand. It’s not a very diverse crowd, but the food is good. The wings are large and flavorful and the meal is accompanied with bread and butter.
