Panda Time

My Mk watch’s battery was dead so I searched up a place to get the battery changed and came up with this. I went there today and the man, I’m assuming his name is Victor from all the reviews, was so nice. He changed the battery for me in literally 5 minutes and told me it was 5 dollars. It was so cheap. I went to other jewelry stores and they told me its $ 10 whereas some even told me $ 20 for a battery change. That is so ridiculous! Bottom line, he is the best. I gave him $ 10 just because he was so fast and nice. Sweet man him.

Attention: Panda Time shop is not inside the busy mall, it is next door on the left side of the mall. I was here last than 5 minutes and got new battery replaced for my Burberry watch. He only charged me $ 5, please be generous in giving him tip. Very nice man, high quality of work, i am very happy!

Efficient, friendly, inexpensive. It is also easy to locate. He was also kind enough to provide an extra screw for the back of the watch that was getting fixed!

This is the best place to get a watch battery replaced. Victor is professional, pleasant, fast and gets the job done. Price is very reasonable. I can’t ask for anything better.

A debate that I often have with myself is as follows: do I pay extra and go to an American store where English is spoken, or try a Chinese place and risk the communication barrier?
When I needed to add a few links to my watch, I decided to give Panda Time a try, and I was not let down one bit.
Bloomingdales and Macys both charge 20 dollars to adjust the links on a watch. After seeing great reviews on Unilocal for Panda Time, I decided to inquire how much the Flushing establishment would charge. Victor told me it would 5 dollars to add the links to the watch. There was no wait at all, and he got right to work. 10 minutes later, my watch fit great.
Victor also speaks English pretty well, so communication wasnt an issue at all. Compared to American department stores this mom and pop shop is 75% off. For a simple adjustments or battery changes, I definitely recommend this place.

It’s a tiny shop inside Busy Mall, it’s the third stall on the left and it says Panda Watch. The battery on my Emporio Armani watch died after 5 years and I took it to the shop. The battery change cost $ 5 bucks and took about 5 mins. Awesome!!! The guy behind the counter was very friendly and super informative, I highly recommend.

Took no more than 5 minutes. He replaced my battery and set the date/​time, too. Very quick and friendly service. I will never take my watches anywhere else!

I’ve been going to Victor for over 10 years. I’ve purchase multiple Japanese Domestic G-​shocks and Casios from him and been very happy with them. They are authentic and his prices are very reasonable. I’d rather buy from him than eBay for sure.
I’ve also been servicing my watches with him for many years as well. I’ve given him anything from cheap Seikos to high end Orient’s to service. He’s quick, cheap, and always provides top notch service.
I don’t know any watch repair places I would trust except for him.

I have nothing to complain about. He was very efficient, took less than 5 minutes, and he even set the correct time for me.

My watch stopped working and I thought my battery was dead. After walking into the 3^rd of the «Busy Malls» on Main Street, I finally found Panda Time watch repair shop. The proprietor was really kind as he first checked to see that the battery was working. After he placed the battery back, he saw that the watch was working again. So he told me to come back if the watch stops working again, after having oiled my watch. All this was for free! I will definitely come back when my watch needs any looking into!

I’m the 1001^th person who has only the good words for Victor Chain/​Panda Watches.
Today, I went there to see how much Victor Chain would charge for a watch strap. When he said «$ 3» for a plastic one, I almost didn’t believe and I was trying to think whether it’s possible that he meant $ 13 or something :-) He said he’d charge $ 6 for a leather one. At the end, he let him replace my broken watch strap with a new plastic one as the plastic more water resistant than the leather one (and I do expose the watch strap to water such as in shower and swimming).
$ 3 for a watch strap and the few minutes’ labor for replacing the belt seems like too good to be true and yet it’s true !!

3 watch battery changes for $ 12. WHAT?! I use to pay like $ 10 for 1 watch battery change. I’m so glad I found this place. Service was quick and straight forward. I will be returning when I need another battery change.

This is my first review on Unilocal and I’d say and worthy one. If you appreciate someone that takes pride at their work and attention to details, then you must take all your watches problem to this guy. Took the time to fix little things aside from just replacing the battery. As previous reviewers, I’d paid more without thinking twice if it was needed. Very pleasant and best at his work. He got my business and everyone that in would come across with watch problem. Period.

unlike a panda, he is swift like chinese kung fu artists moving through a bamboo forest. he can fix anything on a watch and it’s super quick and cheap. replaces your battery in 3 minutes. i think its $ 3???

I went in for a new battery, he said the special $ 45 ecodrive rechargable battery that my watch uses did not need to be replaced and only charged me 25 to fix the inside. Awesome! Very nice and helpful guy he adjusted it for free also

PANDA TIME, EVERY TIME!!!
I remember all the times I was brought here as a child, gazing at all the colorful Baby G watches that my mom refused to buy for me. 15 years later, I am still going to this watch repair shop!
The repairman (Victor, as the previous Unilocalers have pointed out) is AWESOME! For example: one of the links on my metal MK watch kept falling off, so I brought it to him. After he fixed it, I asked «how much» and he responded «nothing, it wasn’t broken.» He could have EASILY charged me $ that I was definitely willing to pay.
My mom and sister go here every time they need a battery change or adjustment. Super cheap and the man is just genuinely nice and won’t pull any cheap moves to earn an extra buck. My mom has even bought him a coffee before because he would not accept tip!!!
So, if you’re in Flushing, go to this man. He knows what he’s doing, and he won’t scheme you like some other places in Flushing (once, a shop on Roosevelt Ave quoted $ 6 for my adjustment, and after walking away, he’s like ok ok $ 5 — um, NO!).

Victor does an amazingly fast and efficient job fixing watch batteries, bands and other repairs. He speaks great English and is very friendly. There may be a line waiting at his shop during busy weekends, which just proves many others trust him too.
His prices are less than half the cost in manhattan. I will come back again for sure.

Was looking for a place to replace my girlfriend’s watchstrap & also watch battery. Finally found Panda Watches in Flushing’s Busy Mall (on Main St … across the street from Hong Kong Supermarket). Had gone to Fix It in Roosevelt Field Mall to find out pricing … they wanted $ 30. Panda Watches … $ 5 to replace the battery & he was going to replace the strap for free. Great great service. Saw that he wasn’t on Unilocal yet … and wanted to help my fellow Unilocalers out with the tip about Panda Watches.
