Established in 2004.

Checker cab started in 2004, previously I worked for another cab service, quite often I got a lot of complain from customers regarding waiting time. I soon came up with a strategy to launch checker cab. The strategy was to accept orders from customers that will be served immediately, usually in 15 minutes, after 10 yrs in business, the strategy is still working beautifully

Terrible service!!! I called for a cab 2 hours before a date, because my cousin needed my car to go to work. They told me it would be 20 – 30 mins. I called back after 45min. And they said they couldnt contact the driver. Then 15 minutes after that they called me and said there were NO CABS in my area. Meanwhile… my date is at the restuarant waiting on me! Then they told me it woulkd be 30 min for my cab to arrive!!! Service!!! Smh… NEVER AGAIN!!!

They said it would be a 20 minute wait. 30 minutes goes by so I call and they said they’re right around the corner it’ll be 5 minutes, then as he is hanging up says «ok, see you in 5−10»… 23 minutes later a lady shows up in a regular car, her kids stuff all over the cab and she’s doing her makeup. She has her music playing (certainly not our style) much louder than was comfortable for us. Then she took us to the wrong entrance to where we were going after I specifically told her at the beginning of the trip to not go to that entrance, it was the other one. If there is a silver lining at all, it would be that she did have the a/​c on.

Scheduled an appointment a day before my trip to Vegas to be dropped off at the airport. The receptionist got my name and essential information down and was confirmed to get picked up the next day at 0500 am. My schedule pick time was past due by 15 minutes. I called to see if the driver was lost. The same receptionist that took down my info down told me they had no scheduled pick up time for me. The guy either sounded super tired or drunk. Had me on the line waiting like an idiot. They called me later claiming my pick up time was 0530 am. Scheduled it in front of my wife and even she confirmed me saying 0500. Either a simple mix up or bad service. Either way they should’ve had my info on file.
