Dr Skinner Optometry

I have been going to Dr. Skinner for more than 25 years. He is a great Dr. However his office staff in the eye exam are not pleasant people. They are not personable at all. I have done customer service for thirty plus years. I would never be so unpleasant! Even when you call they are not personable.
I enjoy the staff in the office that assist you with picking your glasses.

This is the worst customer service I’ve ever gotten! And I work in customer service to me customer service is everything! I can choose what optometrist to go to the only reason I went to this place is because my husband goes there. it was my first time going to this place. There’s two ladies that work there and work in the front desk a young one and the other is older there was no hello, and no good morning we apologize for being late as I was waiting outside. They unlocked the office they both walked in again no words to me me at all! Like to let me know I can go in or anything! The doctor is a great doctor but I don’t think he realizes that the receptionist that are representing his office are putting a good face in there, I didn’t see them too happy, I almost felt like they didn’t even want to be there! Anyway that is none of my business but I do think that the people in the front of the office are the face of the business and they should be greeting their patients with a happy face and be courteous by saying good morning or good afternoon. Once I was done with my eye test the pregnant lady (I didn’t get her name) but there’s only two ladies that work the front desk. She came to me and sord of lead me out to where I’m supposed to go select my glasses but didn’t say to me she would take me or what we were doing. The ladies at the glass wear office were so courteous they’re re very nice. All I’m saying is if you’re gonna do a job do it right! We have choices and yes I will be looking for a new optometrist don’t want to deal with people’s long faces and unprofessional attitudes I honestly think the optometrist has no idea!

I’ve been coming to Dr. Skinner for my eye exams for over 10 years. My insurance allows me to go wherever I want but I would rather come here.
The office is cute and old school which is located next to the Fontana Police Department. The office where the actual eye exam takes place is separated from the location where you choose your glasses which is located right across the way. Dr. Skinner’s office has been in practice for a long time. But don’t let the appearance of the office fool you. Dr. Skinner has many stylish glasses, sun glasses and a variety of contacts you can choose from. The employees of Dr. Skinner are all very polite and helpful.
I will continue to come here for as long as I can and also bring my son when he’s ready to get his eyes checked.
