I started out as a patient of Dr. McGhee before Dr Scoggins took over the practice and the only thing that disappointed me in the whole transition was the front desk replacement. She’s not so bad but she’s not my favorite.
The hygienist, Taffy, is the best one around! Dr Scoggins is amazing, and so is her assistant, Robert! Overall, I’d highly recommend this office. They won’t overcharge you, up sell you, or try to force you to do treatment. You can trust all of them!

I switched from Loma Linda dentistry to Dr Scoggins because of my family. I am so glad I did! She doesn’t do any unnecessary work which is different than most dentists. The staff is extremely friendly, and you get to watch netflix during your visit

I used to go there since I was a kid and even though it switched owners I kept going and took my daughter and sister in law there. I LOVE the Dental hygienist, Taffy. but I will never take my family to a dentist that cant see a cavity during and exam on a child. My 5 year old had an exam and was told everything was perfect by the Dentist herself but a month later she had tooth pains so I took her back and she had such big caviites in between her molars. (totally my fault for slacking on the flossing!) But I wanted to pay cash for the work since we were in between insurances and they wanted me to take her to a clinic instead. I don’t know any dentist who sends out easy work. So I learned my lesson and realized that a familiar building doesn’t make a good dentist. I also found an amazing pediatric dentist for my kids and a great dentist for the adults!

Dr. Scoggins took over Dr. McGhee’s practice several years ago. Having had been a patient of Dr. McGhee’s since first moving to California, I was a little nervous about someone new. However, my fears were quickly laid to rest.
Prior to coming to this practice, I hated getting my teeth cleaned. Hygienists were always too rough and hurt my gums! Not here. When I get my teeth cleaned, I’m relaxed, knowing my teeth and gums are in good hands.
After my cleaning, I get a check up and Dr. Scoggins tells me how wonderful my teeth are. I leave the chair feeling good about myself (and my teeth).
As I walk out the door, the receptionist, who knows I’m a teacher and schedules my future appointments according to my schedule, lets me know when my next check up is, and I’m out the door in no time.
Even though I no longer live just down the street, I make it a point to go out of my way to continue to see this fantastic dentist!
And yes, this is the same Dr. Scoggins that has a practice in Hesperia.
