We have proudly been in the beautiful foothills of Foothill Ranch for 16 years. We are an upscale family salon catering to all your beauty needs. We have 12 stylists, an esthetician and make/​up artists on site. We offer the Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatment, Great Lengths hair extensions, and a beautiful selection of professional hair care products. We pride ourselves on serving your beauty needs in a professional fun environment. Our services also include the latest in hairstyles, color servies, wedding styles and make/​up.

My goal as owner of Jon Paulo Salon is to make sure your experience at my salon is everything you expected and more. I am very hands on with my customers and enjoy always meeting new people. I welcome the opportunity to making sure you are taken care of in the same way as I would expect to be taken care of. I have 12 wonderful stylists and an amazing esthetician. I have been in the beauty industry for 25 years and am having the time of my life making people feel beautiful. I hope to meet you soon. Mimi is absolutely amazing. I came in to get a blonde ombré and she did such a gorgeous job. I could never picture what it would look like but after talking to her about what I was looking for and showing her a picture of what I like she went above and beyond to give me a new look that I absolutely love! I am in love with my hair and will definitely be going back. I highly recommend Mimi and her team.

Omg, this is the best hair i have ever had in my entire life… Andy is a true artist of hair. I cant say enough about him, thanks Andy. If you are looking for a snooty salon this is not it. The atmosphere is relaxed and calm and comfortable. I have been to the snooty, overpriced salons and Andy blows those hairstylists out of the water. I also had my nails done there, and they came out fantastic as well Thanks to all. Just a quick note to the owner, it would be great to have an internet music site playing in the background instead of the same christmas CD on replay. I heard the same songs three times. Just a suggestion. :)

Came in today to get a mani & pedi and ended up getting a trim and my hair done by Andy. He did an amazing job, my hair looks beautiful!!! So glad i decided to get my hair done as well. :)
The people here are amazing, very friendly and fun to be around, highly recommended!

I recently had an experience that was not the best here, but Mimi contacted me and let me know that she would do whatever she could to make my experience a positive one, and she did! My manicure was redone by a WONDERFUL manicurist named Holly and I couldn’t be happier with the results! It’s places like this that leave their customers incredibly happy and willing to recommend to others! Thank you Mimi and Holly for a fabulous manicure!

I came in on a day off and with no makeup on because I was getting my brows done and possibly a haircut. The brunette working there looked me up and down and obviously, incorrectly assumed I was a college student with no money. She was very rude and shifted me to another stylist. They did a decent job on my brows but I had no desire to get my haircut there after the amount of attitude. I will never go there again. Never make assumptions based on appearance.

Great Salon and fantastic work. My stylist was great and really knows her work inside and out. She delivered as she predicted in the beginning and the results were nothing less than fantabioulous :). I recommend this salon to anyone looking for great results with a very reasonable price. Everyone is very nice. Convenient and an easy to find location as well.

Ladies, stop what ever it is that you are doing and call Andy for an appointment; you won’t be disappointed! Take it from me, after many, many years of constantly being disappointed by hair color that is never right or hair cuts that don’t fall right or flatter, I’ve finally found my miracle worker, Andy! Did I happen to mention, glorious hair l color, amazing cuts and hair that has never been healthier… no cheap, damaging dyes here ladies!

I’m new to the area, found this salon on Unilocal & decided to give it a try as it’s so close to my home. Mimi greeted me when I walked in & made me feel so welcome. I’ve been going for four months now & wouldn’t go anywhere else for cut or color. Mimi is the bomb!

In this quaint little unassuming salon in Foothill Ranch you will find a seasoned, world class, professional Master Stylist and Master Colorist.
Asking him where on earth he came from? He humbly smiles and recites a stylist resume reserved only for the heavenly gifted of his field.
No this is not Hong Kong, Manhattan, Beverly Hills, or even San Francisco where artists of his stature gravitate to, this is Foothill Ranch CA.
He is here because he is a family man who gave up the high pressured success as a salon owner, because his children were growing up not knowing their Father.
Don’t ask this pro to color or cut your hair that does not suit you, go to super cuts where they will do whatever you ask.
If you are blessed to have this artist touch your hair, you are very blessed indeed.

If you’re looking for a professional hair stylist with years of experience ask for ANDY! He does great high end work and is a professional color expert and stylist, he has a mastered technique and really knows his craft. I’ve been going to Andy for years before he moved to this salon and I will travel just to have him do my hair. You will not ever be disappointed with his work, he is the best at what he does!

Went here to get a trim and left somewhat disappointed for the price paid. Two stars because my hair looked much healthier since it was pretty much dried and dead but still noticed a bunch of split ends and my hair became dried and dead again within weeks. The salon I usually go to is awesome but my stylist is out on maternity leave so I tried Jon Paulo. Usually, it takes me several months to go back to get another trim but after leaving Jon Paulo, needed another trim within weeks. The stylist had a weird way of cutting my hair too, no glasses and you can’t cross your legs. Plus, she used a hair dryer to dry my hair and literally the heat struck my necklace and burned my neck a few times. Also, my hair was so wet when she cut it, the water dripped down my face a few times, kind of annoying. Will not return, sorry.

I went into the salon last week for a cut and color. I had a very specific picture of what I wanted. When I had the consultation with the stylist, I said to keep my natural blonde and add low lights to achieve the look of the picture. I believed we were on the same page. Andy continued to look at the picture for reference. When the foils in my hair began to come off, to my horror, I had lighter blonde than my natural and the brown was super dark. And instead of having the brown peeking out, I had thick zebra stripes in my hair. The coloring isn’t even on both sides. The back is a nice weaving of color, but the front is a mess. The stylist said he liked it because it was unique. But it totally wasn’t what I wanted, nor did it look like the picture.
I gave two stars because they were nice and the cut wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything special either. Not only was the price expensive, but I have to put out the same amount to have it fixed. I was so flustered, I told them I liked it and rushed out.

Just drove up from San Diego for a haircut. My hair is perfect every time. Bangs are just like I like them! Length is perfect. Great salon with friendly staff. Mimi is the best at listening to what you like, and making it happen. Will make the 3 hr round trip for a cut every time.

I came here a couple of months back after messing up my hair with some box-​color. Mimi saw me right away (I literally RAN from my house to the salon in tears). Mimi (the owner), did some highlights and totally FRIED my hair. It didnt look THAT bad when she initially took the foils out. But once my hair was cut and dried it looked like a zebra-​striped mess. She also gave me a really bad haircut. I asked for a trim and hair was flying ALL over the place. She gave me layers I didnt ask for, and cut of at least 2 inches in the back and even more in the front. I felt stupid and paid full price w/​o saying anything. The next day I made an ap. with my regular stylist and had to pay to have the hair color corrected (from the highlights). 2 stars because Mimi is very friendly, nice and talkative. I just wouldn’t let her touch my hair again.
