LUMI8 is a kiosk styled Photo Booth that can be used as a free standing kiosk or it can be combined with our photo-​backdrop set-​up to create the complete Photo Booth experience.

There’s no limit on the number of photos you can take at an event. All photos can be instantly uploaded to Facebook so your guests can quickly share their sexy, cool and silly photos with their Facebook friends.

Annie and Hoyu were professional, timely and attentive. Their products really delivered the quality as promised. Beautiful gold sequin backdrop with professional lighting (none of that flashlight in your face poor lighting). The design of the photobooth is streamline and perfect for a chic Manhattan rooftop wedding!

My husband and I’ve been to many weddings. many weddings in the past few years. When it came time to selecting a photo booth for our wedding, we looked back at all the booths we’ve encountered in the tri-​state area. I remember my favorite was at our friend, Amiel’s wedding (see Amiel’s Unilocal review :))
We were a little hesitant to use them at first since they’ve only been at our venue once but I’m so glad we went with them. Annie called and addressed my concerns we had with the space. She suggested using the open booth since it didnt take up too much space and it worked perfectly in our main space next to the dance floor. From the start, Annie and Huyu were always responsive and flexible. The guests raved about the quality of the photo copies. Annie even sent me a link to all the photos an hour after the wedding! Talk about service!
We also got to design and select our own backdrop and props. I ended up using our wedding invitations and color scheme to make everything cohesive.

Amazing.
LUMi8 provided their services for my wedding. Annie & Hoyu were responsive to correspondence and requests. They were able to customize a package based on the square footage available and specific requests such as unlimited printing.
Aside from exceptional professionalism, their décor and props were superior to any other photo booth. The quality of the pictures (digital and print) were also top-​notch.

We hired LUMi8 for our daughter’s 1st birthday party and we are so glad we did. The owners, Annie and Hoyu were there to ensure everything went smoothly and always made sure the pictures came out perfect. They are extremely friendly and genuinely enjoy their job. The quality of the pictures are great and they have awesome props as well. I also worked directly with Hoyu in coming up with a personalized banner for the photo to match our theme.
We have experienced many other photo booth companies at weddings and birthday parties and this was one that stood out above all and we are so happy we decided to hire them. We will hire them again in a heartbeat in the future.

Having attended so many weddings in my time, I’ve had my share of exposure to photo booths. So when it came time to choose one for my own big day, LUMi8 was a no-​brainer. They have really fun props that are updated often, customized banners, a big enough booth fit 6 – 8 (if people feel comfortable getting close), have instant professional looking prints, individually e-​mailed copies, online gallery, and a zip file of all the booth and individual shots too.
Annie and Hoyu are the best! They respond very quickly and do their very best to provide top notch service. You know exactly what you’re getting with LUMi8 and your guests will be pleasantly surprised.

As a wedding vendor myself (DJ), I’ve always had good experiences working alongside Hoyu at events when both of us were hired by the same couples. Hoyu was always pleasant & professional when it came to his craft and LUMI8’s booths are super sleek looking & just plain cool.
Well, recently I got to attend a wedding as a guest where LUMi8 was at and I can wholeheartedly say that user end experience was fun & fantastic as well! From the booth (best designed booth I’ve seen) to the props (plentiful & fun, not tacky) to the quality of pictures (the wife and I looked good!) to the ease of use (physical picture + a streamlined send it to your email option), this is by far the most complete photo booth solution I’ve seen (and I’ve seen a lot)! You can tell Hoyu & Annie care about the little things (ie. working with clients on banner & backdrop, a prop return box stationed in the booth) you look for when you want the BEST. And they are also genuinely nice folks which never hurts!
I can’t say enough good things about their top-​notch work and they are first on my list of recommendations when friends, family, or clients ask about photo booths. Can’t wait to hire them myself one day.

If you want to give your camera-​shy friends/​families a fun and memorable time at your wedding, or getting people to interact & make fun memories, this photo booth is a must! I myself am super camera shy, but Lumi8 photo booth did wonder to our photos. The pictures came out fast & and beautiful (not only in terms of quality, it for some magical reasons make us look prettier and funnier than we are). You can email your photos using their provided tablet, and view other guests’ funny creations via the link. What a perfect way to capture funny memories on a special day! With so many many quirky props to pick from, and the intimacy provided by the curtains, we felt completely at ease to make silly faces and act like a kid again. I saw Annie and Hoyu’s booth at a Unilocal event and made a mental note to grab them for a future event. When I got engaged, it was a no-​brainer. I shopped around a little to see what other photo booths out there offered, but Annie and Hoyu’s seemed the most appealing, with their ultra sleek booth, streamlined options and their super responsiveness to all my inquiries. I enjoyed the process of working with Hoyu to design the banner for the photos, he made it so easy! On the wedding day, they showed up on time and were totally professional and wonderful! The booth was a hit with everyone. We didn’t expect this at all, but they emailed us the photos later that night! Customer service is top notch. I’d highly recommend LUMi8!

Annie & Huyu @ Lumi8 are very considerate, accommodating and always available. Their technology is state of the art, very fast and user friendly. Within 4 hours of booth time, we were able to take 135 photos which comes up to a photo every 1 ½ minutes, which should actually be quickier because it doesnt include the moments when no one was using the photobooth during the meals.
Huyu was able to create a personalized design on every photo taken marking our wedding date and name with what we wanted on the photos. They have a variety of amazing props and allowed us to bring our own personal props as well. We brought snowboarding gear since that was our theme.
All in all, Lumi8 is the best company specially when their prices are pretty much normal within the photobooth market

Annie and Hoyu were awesome! They were super easy to work with and went the extra mile to help me check out our venue for accessibility issues. Everyone at our wedding loved them and the photo booth backdrop /​equipment /​props were really well done and look great. They were also super professional even though I had a few drunk and obnoxious friends behaving badly (sorry guys, but it’s true!). They were great at controlling the crowd.

I hired them for my wedding last year. Hoyu & Annie are super friendly & professional. The set-​up is great & the quality of their pictures are amazing. Everyone had a blast at my wedding. So much so that 2 of my friends have also hired them for their weddings & have receieved the same top notch service & the attendees were raving about how much fun they had.
My hubby & I still talk about how awesome our photobooth was & how Lumi8 has the best photobooth around. And trust us because we are photobooth junkies & have tried out over a dozen photobooths, and Lumi8 is still our absolute favorite.
We attended our friend’s wedding 2 weekends ago. Hoyu was working the booth & remembered us. My friends went crazy & took a whole lot of pictures that night. The printed photo comes out fast. Hoyu has upgraded his set up & it only keeps getting better.
For my wedding, I made a sock monkey prop, which was a huge hit. My friends also brought in a few of their own props as well. But, there isn’t any need to because Lumi8 brings a bunch of their super fun props for you to use. If you want something specific, I’d suggest you bring it yourself.
They also do customized banners for you, or if you’re nerdy like me, I created my own & sent it over to them.
They now offer even more options for the backdrop. Each one is amazing, so you can’t really go wrong with anything you choose.
Overall, I cannot rave enough about Lumi8. They seriously are the best in the business. The owners are awesome to work with & you will not regret using them for your special event. My photobooth pics are still up on my wall & I look at them daily & remember what an awesome time I had. The memories it creates are definitely priceless.

LUMI8 was amazing! Last night, they offered us a blast of fun and let us capture moments of silliness, which really made our experience a fantastic one!
Best of all they have tons of goodies and accessories for guys and gals to play with and they let us dress and disguise ourselves in characters. I especially loved their lady gaga sunglasses — it was COOL!!!
I also love that they showed us how to use their machine if it was our first time and since we’re controlling all the shots, we have enough time to strike a pose and contemplate our next move.
I highly recommend LUMI8 to anyone who is looking to host a party, event or even special occasion like a wedding or reunion. They will capture forever moments and will guarantee all your guests a slew of FUN!!!

It’s almost a must to jump inside a photo booth at an event to take some very interesting, funny, and incriminating pics!
More and more get-​togethers I have been attending lately are getting into the swing of photo booths. And why not? They are a great draw and fun thing to do while bringing together friends and soon to be friends. Drop your inhibitions and «coolness» to don some goofy glasses and assorted props to take some great pics. Some shots come out pretty embarrassing while some are hot and sexy at the same time too!
The staff of LUMI8 does a great job in setting up the booth and helping everyone enjoy a fun experience. They have a table set up with all types of fun props, funny signs, and will tell you exactly what to do to take your pics. This is one of the larger booths I have seen at an event. It can actually fit in large groups and you operate it on your own when you have your pose ready for your shot. It is draped in so no one can see what you are doing. It’s a really nice set up. You receive a color print of the pics right on the spot. All photos can be instantly uploaded to Facebook and you can even go on their FB page for free downloads too. Good quality pics!
The people working the booth are both professional and friendly. Always had smiles on their faces. Had a first hand experience with them at this past Sunday’s Elite event and would highly recommend LUMI8 Photo Booth for your party or get together.

Two words that best describe LUMI8 Photo Booth…
FREAKING AWESOME!!! *Ahem…Please excuse my language but they are: D
I hired LUMI8 for my wedding recently and I can honestly tell you that it was one of the best decisions that I have made for my wedding. Rather than an expense to my wedding… they were definitely an asset. All my guests had so much fun utilizing the machine!!! I received so many compliments on how much fun they had at my wedding. The props were outstanding… there were so many choices and they were so original. There were hilarious signs with different sayings such as «The Boss», «I work out», beautiful masks, boas, pimp hats, you name it, they’ve got it!
Some important things to note:
1. Annie and HoYiu are a wonderful wife and husband team. They are very responsible and incredibly nice and will be on time to set up prior to the start of your wedding and stay until the very end. They were very fun and patient throughout the wedding with my guests. Also, they speak Chinese.
2. Throughout my research for my wedding… they have the most beautiful and modern photobooth that I have come across in NYC.
3. You can easily fit 6 people in the machines!
4. Their prices are very reasonable for the photobooth industry. Trust me, I’ve done my research!
A couple of my friends have already hired them for their weddings and even a baby party so book them before it’s too late.

LUMI8 Photo Booth was a blast! They were at Miraku for a Long Island Unilocal elite event. It was a really fun experience. The pictures came out great and the props they had were extra fun. The people operating and setting up the photo booth were awesome and super friendly.
I’m definitely recommending these guys for future events. They got a nice Unilocal deal ($ 100 for $ 200). When I first heard that there was gonna be some photo booth at the event, I thought it was one of those huge photo booth machines with the curtains. LUMI8 has a really nice set up and it doesn’t take up too much space.

LUMI8 photobooth!
I first saw LUMI8 at a Unilocal Elite Event in Long Island and fell in love with this machine! I need to tell everyone about it!
It comes with PROPS! Hats, Feather Boas, Ghetto Gold Chains, Mustaches, Word Bubble, Glasses and more!!! This is a state-​of-​the-​art Photobooth with an amazing staff! The staff was truly incredible, prepping you for all 4 photos and ready to hand you props as each 10 seconds ticked down. I wonder if they come with the rental hehehe. Theres also a monitor rotating through the photos of the night! It gives the people waiting on line ideas for their moment in the spotlight.
I want one of these for our wedding!!! They are pretty pricey but if you have the $ (which we don’t — sad face) you’ll most definitely get what you paid for. The machine, the props, the unlimited quality photos.
